We own a second home on the central coast and had original rattan from 1987 which was looking older…read moreand our newer rattan from 2000 was in OK shape but the cushions had faded. We decided to invest in all new furniture. Our main home is in San Diego so we decided to visit King's Rattan showroom in Ontario. I had contacted a sales associate, Tim, ahead of time to make sure we could see the Concord and Sunrise collections. Tim was very helpful and brought out all of the furniture in the honey finish. We were impressed with the quality of the rattan, the choice of fabric, and the fact that Kings Rattan imports the furniture direct from Asia. Tim worked with us to find a good price for all of the furniture along with delivery to Cambria. We were lucky that a container ship had just been confirmed for docking in Long Beach the next week. We were able to confirm delivery for our next trip to the house. We purchased 4 bar stools and a 6 person dinner table set from the Concord collection and 2 lounge chairs, 2 end tables, a coffee table, a loveseat and an ottoman in the Sunrise collection. The furniture arrived within the quoted timeframe and luckily I was able to hire some young guys to unbox the new furniture and install it. We are extremely pleased with Kings Rattan! The quality of the furniture is excellent! Rattan furniture is an investment, but I believe that the price we paid at Kings Rattan was very good compared to a lot of online companies and it's wonderful to go in person and visit their showroom. I highly recommend Kings Rattan!

Manuel showed me around to some amazing mattresses. I listed my concerns. After 20 minutes of searching, I found the perfect mattress. I had to think what were my needs for a mattress.. Being 511, I need a sturdy mattress. The price on this mattress was pretty amazing. For the comfort I felt on lying on this mattress. I came back a week and a half later and purchased this mattress. I purchased the box spring and the foundation to put it on. Went buying a new bed. You always have to buy new sheets and two pillows. The credit check was very efficient and very fast. After shaking these amazing hands of these salesmen. I think about it. One of the best purchases with this was the Mathis home rewards so I purchased that too I walked downstairs with Brian to the credit department and finalized everything. I signed the dotted line The best part of the Mathis home reward yes, you get credit for $20 a month at the bistro on the 1st floor. So for the investment of $139 for the Mathis home reward. I get $20 credit each month for an amazing selection of food. Thank you again, Brian. and Manuel for the great customer service.

Then when trying to exchange it, they shooed us away to their tiny customer service department as much as possible. They clearly did not want to help us. The customer service representative would not even leave her seat to greet us or listen to the mistake that was made on their part. Because the item was a special order, even though we were improperly advised (and within the ridiculous 7 day return window), she simply told us no. Mathis will not help you or own up to any mistakes made on their own part. They want you to double check their sales team's work and make sure they order the right things. You know, because that's your job as the customer. Save your time and your money and shop anywhere else. I'd rather buy a cheap Amazon piece of furniture, because they'd at least treat us with respect. This place sucks and I'd give 0 stars if I could. Don't ever shop here. People are pushy, rude, and don't care to treat you like a human being.

Wish I found StockMax sooner!…read more I picked up a great office chair at their San Gabriel location for a solid price--and they even threw in a free gift! This location has a wide selection of furniture: couches, office desks, dining tables, cabinets, and more. You can choose between preassembled pieces or ones that aren't. I'd recommend going with the preassembled options, since all the furniture at StockMax tends to have some kind of minor flaw. When it's already assembled, it's much easier to spot any issues. That said, most of the imperfections are really minor--like scratches (see photo as an example) --and it's definitely worth taking a close look before buying. I scored a dresser that was about $20 cheaper than what I saw on Amazon, and it had no major flaws at all. On top of that, the service was excellent. One of the staff even helped me load the dresser into my car. I'll definitely be back!
