Target is my favorite go to place for a lot of stuff. If I know exactly what I want, I use the app and have it brought to my car. That way I'm still avoiding crowds in stores. Sometimes I don't know exactly what I want, such window coverings. Then I go look over the choices. I did that a couple of months ago. Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention and got one pair of curtains the wrong size. But it was a simple process to exchange them. Most recently I bought a digital food scale because the recipe I wanted to make had all the ingredients in ounces--even strawberries. What a lot of choices! I didn't have to go inside for this one. I was also able to buy an ingredient I didn't have at the same time! Target is such a convenient shopping experience and the prices are generally pretty good too.

This is the target I love closest too and honestly it's one of my favorites as well. I'm a Pokémon card collector and they always have a decent selection of Pokémon cards so I know my hobby is covered lol. I go during evenings and normally always see employees stocking or cleaning aisles. I would say that target is normally pricier than other places. I just think they carry pricier brands which is nice because you can hope they're a bit more quality but if you need something for a one time use I'd go to the dollar store or Walmart.

Came for shoes, left because how the hell are you supposed to find anything I. This mess. Even the shoes in boxes weren't the actual size Or style. YIKES - will go elsewhere.

This Target store caters to everyone downtown and midtown in Omaha. While it is the only surviving anchor for the sad Crossroads Mall, it keeps busy all the time. Standard Target experience, but careful during back to school season. Due to location near UNO and Creighton it is both busy and stock gets wiped out. Some of the West Omaha Target locations are a bit fancier and larger if you ask me. This location has a Starbucks inside!

    These socks though..adorable!

The reason for the 4 stars is just because of the crime in the area- nothing Target can do about that, but 72nd & Dodge is not as safe as it used to be.

Things are laid out very well here, so it's really fun to look around at the different items and styles! Things are easily organized by type of products you are looking for, and there's plenty of room to walk around looking, and see all angles of the items for sale. This store, just like Nebraska furniture Mart has FAR too many employees. You can tell they are all commission based. Every time I walk around, between five and 10 employees ask me if I'm finding everything all right. This isn't the worst thing that can happen while you're shopping, but in my opinion, it does get a little annoying, and concerning to see how many employees are without customers to help. Overall, I love coming here for inspiration! I am very picky on the items I buy, so have yet to find something I actually purchased in the store, but hope to someday as the price point is reasonable.

The value depends on the person, the pieces are not necessarily cheap, they are reasonably priced. Anywhere from $400-1900 for a couch.

I LOVE that they are dog friendly, and I could bring along my lil dood after visiting Three Dog Bakery down the street. The staff member working that day was friendly, obviously loved dogs, and was eager to answer any questions I had about the store or the items inside. They have plenty of furniture (mostly living room/dining room), home decor, and also "knick knacks" which I would categorize as things like stationary, cards, coffee table items, mason jar sippy cups etc. They also have a small catus/succulent/air plant station where you can purchase plants and make your own design piece ala carte. I thought that was really cute, and purchased a few plants to replaces some dying ones in my home. Overall, this store has a very urban, city, "ikea" feel, and I am totally digging it. I do think the price tags for the furniture would make some modest Omaha dwellers cringe, but those who love interior decor as I do will find this place as fascinating as a kid in a candy shop.

While the products are amazing, it has been really hard for me to purchase things here due to their relatively high price points. However, supporting local creatives definitely adds value to the pieces sold here. Also, if you park at the midtown parking garages, you can validate your parking ticket in this store!

But it's worth looking for, as you'll probably find something you didn't know you were looking for. What sets Among Other Things apart from all the other shops selling vintage and consignment stuff for the home is that their collection is well-curated. You won't find cheap craft crap; you'll find cool stuff from throughout the last, oh, 120 years or so. Any of it would look good in a well-appointed home. And thank heavens, they haven't completely jumped on the mid-century trend as most other such places have. From chairs to rugs to cards, there's something here for anyone with good taste. (I picked up a fairly recent photography coffeetable book at a reasonable price.) There's also an adjoining women's vintage clothing store (unfortunately, nothing for guys). While the location might be a little tough to find at first, it's one to put on your radar. (And not far from NFM, so any time you're thinking of visiting them, stop by here, too.)

Especially when you can find comparable items at a thrift store. As a result some items have been there for quite some time. I love that she also carries some local artists' works. But again, overpriced for what they are. The store is quite crowded, I don't think a stroller could fit through some of the walking paths. I worry about bringing my big purse in. Overall, it's a fun place to peruse, but after many visits, I've yet to pull the trigger on buying anything.
