I've been to the store dozens of times, and heard from others that it has better finds than other locations! I always find unique items, and come out with more than I walked in for. The staff is always very friendly, and the checkout line moves quickly. Store is clean, and there is rarely a line for the fitting room. Love this location! read more

I haven't been to a TJ Maxx in quite some time, but I needed some new lamps and figured it would be a good place to try because it's also connected to Home Goods. Overall, there have been some changes, and so far they don't seem to be good ones. First of all, right when you walk in, there's a person standing dead center of the entrance, staring you down in what looks like a mix between security guard gear and combat gear. I don't know enough about the shapes of the compartments on the black vest to know if she was armed with a firearm or not, but the head to toe black getup seemed very intimidating. Which perhaps is their goal if the intention is security. Either way, definitely doesn't give off a welcoming vibe. I've been to high-end stores, particularly in Europe, where they do have a security guard upfront, but the approach is different... More of a tall gentleman in a black suit kind of look. That doesn't interfere with the shopping experience as much in my opinion. The store is currently undergoing some renovations, so the fitting rooms and then one other area were closed off and covered with blue tarps. I understand sometimes you have to renovate so while it would've been nice to try on the clothing I ended up looking at in a fitting room, I understand sometimes that's not possible. Something else I noticed is that there's a lot more security in terms of the items on the shelves or where they're hanging. There's some things that you can't even browse without hitting a button or getting a store assistant's help. It just feels like a lot of things are locked down, which again gives the impression that there's a lot of theft at this store, which again takes away from the overall enjoyment of the shopping experience. One of the things I love about going to a brick and mortar store is looking at the displays and the beautiful merchandise... This interrupts that vibe. Ultimately, I did find some great items and was pleased with what I got, but at the end at the checkout, the associate asked me three times within just a few minutes if I wanted to get the TJ Maxx credit card. I listened to his whole spiel the first time and then politely declined. Then as he was bagging up my items, he proceeded to ask me again, citing additional benefits and I said no thank you I really don't need it. Then when he was about to take my payment, he asked me one more time. This just feels excessive, especially given the short window of interaction. I understand this is most likely the corporate policy, but it felt very pushy to me. read more

This place is always looking like a hot mess up in there and the workers are rude I didn't do anything to them and they wanted to be rude .

This is not the first time this store has disappointed me. One time by I got to the register after carrying my items and the clearance tag came off one of the items. I explained it to the manager and he did everything but call me a liar. Like I would lie over something for 3 off? He embarrassed me in front of customers. Today a woman was returning an expensive item that she had the receipt for and was told when she called that they would give her a store credit since it was purchased a year ago. At the register they told her no that their policy has changed although it does not state that anywhere except for on the receipt it says " restrictions may apply." You could tell they were making this stuff up. They offered her 1/2 the price. She said no and had to carry the bulky heavy item back to her car. Lesson learned- terrible customer service. The only reason they get one star is that they allow dogs in the store : ) read more

Oh my ! So much variety and so many different styles . I must say I am extremely impressed. Its a shame I don't live in the city so couldn't really buy anything from here but I can almost guarantee that if I did , I would have frequented this place all the time . The only con would be that its very unorganized and things were just hap-hazardly shoved into aisles and scattered across the floor . Staff was approachable but I cant say they cared too much for customer service . read more

I needed to perform an exchange at TJ Maxx. It was pretty simple, went inside, grabbed a different color of the same item, went to the register line, and was walking out within 45 seconds. I only had to listen to a quick pitch of the store credit card offer, which was declined. read more

This is my go-to store as it's super close to my house. On any given weekend day it's so nice and relaxing to head into a TJM/HG because there is almost endless things to look at. I will break it down by categories: Jewerly- This is such a fun place to look for holiday, or themed earrings. They have beautiful bejeweled novelty items. There is always a clerk ready to help Luggage- Want affordable luggage before a trip AND matching sets? Perfect spot ot get two bags for under $100 Bags- Decent selection of bags, nothing really special, but lots of neutrals. Womens clothing - the more expensive of the female clothing, I love that I ca find Zara items here, my favorite jeans are Zara from TJX. I also find unique and beautiful sets here Jr. Clothing- if you need something not basic/from Target, youll find unique items in the Jr.'s Kids - rather hit or miss on finding the sizes I need Shoes - Meh, every once in a while theres a shoe is cute and is afforable Homegoods - more broadly everything you need, EXCEPT no shower curtains. That was a bummer, but basically everythign else you da find there, and they have a good clearance area. Theres always a long line but it moves quick..not quick enough to completely overlook the goodies in the queue. I always add extra to the pile. 4 stars bc it's not always organized or clean. read more

Okay so first let me start by saying, I have been to every Home Goods in Omaha... which may or may not be a problem for my bank account! With that being said, this one is by far the messiest, most unorganized. However, it is also the one with the most items and biggest selections. I went here searching for dog Christmas pajamas and foods from Italy for my white elephant gift. Found a ton of things, but needed 2 different size dog pajamas that they did not have there. So I went searching and hit up the other Home Goods in town. Much to my surprise, both the dog section and the cultural food sections were much smaller than this locations. So while this one is usually a madhouse and very unorganized, it is the best one in my opinion, because I will take madhouse and unorganized as long as they have more options!! read more

This is an older TJMaxx location, but boasts a good selection of goods. They're well stocked throughout the week, and the staff has always been friendly. I love that they allow me to bring my dog in with me, and never give me a hard time. In return, I keep him on a tight leash and he never touches or brushes against any of the products. They have done a really nice job with cart sanitation during the COVID pandemic. read more

Can't you believe it? It is like the best of both worlds. I have been a loyal customer to TJMaxx and HomeGoods for so long, so I was excited to find out about this new location. The TJMaxx consists mainly clothes for men, women, and baby along side with some home decor and beauty. However, I found that it was lacking in the variety of clothes compared to other TJMaxx store, it could be that it just opened recently. HomeGoods is unbelievable, lots of home decor, snack, kitchen, bath, office furnitures. I had lot of fun in finding champagne glasses and office stuffs. Staffs are friendly and helpful. This location is definitely less crowded than the one on West Center, so it would provide better experience. read more

The red clearance tag came off the conditioner that was on clearance and they would not give me the clearance price. At what point would I be making up a random price? I even was checking where I had been shopping to look for it and went back to the dressing rooms. Thanks for basically calling me a liar. read more
