However, I was in the area for a meeting and was pleased to see how this place has filled in. This remind me of a very small scale Plaza in KC. It's truly an outdoor mall, featuring a lot of national brands on the main strip. There are big box stores outlining the mall, like Dicks, TJMaxx, Jc Penny etc. I like the offering. There is also some gyms, activities, esthetics, and more. My only complaint is the parking is less than desirable with a lot of one way parking strips.

Absolutely amazing Mall in the Omaha area about 10 miles south of downtown, which is an outdoor mall that has a little shopping-street type area and then has some massive strip mall type huge big box stores as well. It's very well done, and even though traffic is bad here and parking can be tricky, it's still easily the best mall in Nebraska, and is one of the major destinations for the whole area. I've been told that I'm stealthy and nearly invisible at night. This center is named after me then: "Shadow-Like." Oh that's not what it's called? Oops. I guess I put the DOH in Shadow.

I think the food and shopping scene are a good match for this area--higher end places focused on quality, and with higher price points to match the west Omaha/Elkhorn clientele. There is also a strong focus on athletic stores--probably because Scheels draws that crowd here. Parking is always an issue so plan accordingly! There are several lots, but you will often find yourself driving around for a few minutes and walking a bit more, so plan ahead. All in all the variety of stores makes for a fun outdoor shopping day, and there are plenty of quick or fancy dine in spots to choose from as you fuel up in between stores!

New life is being breathed into Regency! I like the mix of the stores here. From Borsheims, (I love…read moretheir free ring cleaning), to Anthropologie, Kinarra, PB Kids, and now Lululemon? There are many reasons to revisit this mall. Also included is Flemmings, a nice higher-end steak house is included and I would recommend them to anyone in town or visiting. I like stores like the Learning Express that bring in mascots of popular shows that bring kids out. The new wellness spa Valo is really well liked, and their bridal store is beautiful. Most recently I came to Regency for a pop up boutique shopping event, and then for a Yelp Blow-out event. It seems there is a lot more to come, like other mini-pop up vendors, dining, and newer stores. If you don't like the crowds of Westroads, this might be the place for you!

I love Regency Court! It is a small, luxurious shopping center with great stores. This is your…read moreplace for a less chaotic shopping experience :) My favorites are Kinaara for Indian food, Dry Bar for blowouts, Lovesace for the best couches ever, Borhseims for jewelry and gifts, Loft or Anthropologie for stylish clothes. There's plenty of parking. Bathrooms towards the back between Pottery Barn Kids and Borsheims. Lots of live pants in the mall.

Until recently it was mostly shopping, and now of course you have the "been around forever" Wheatfields, another Popp eatery, Andres, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Red Mango, 801 Chophouse, and the belle of the ball, Trader Joes. It's funny to think most Omaha millennials might remember Trader Joes as the only Abercrombie and Fitch in town for awhile. How fitting it became another millennial destination! The parking is kind of a mess, it's very cramped and most parking is for TJ's. One bright spot is Zen Coffee has a drive through there so you can grab a delicious matcha latte before your weekly shopping. I'm glad to see new life and staples stay in this plaza.

I get my hair cut at Five Salon which specializes in Aveda products. Next door is L'Occitane which is a line of beauty products and fragrances from Provence in the South of France. Kinda pricey but it's the real deal. Fun just to look at their beautiful packaging. Last year I started buying dress pants for work at Talbots. Again, not cheap but high quality (and they have frequent sales). There's a Bath & Body Works, Sur la Table for high end kitchen ware, Wheatfield's and Andres Tortillery for dining options, and other small boutiques. Last but not least, I absolutely cannot visit One Pacific Place without stopping at Nothing Bundt Cakes and picking up a couple of bundtlets - one chocolate chocolate chip and one Flavor of the Month!! Truth be told, sometimes I make up an excuse to stop at One Pacific Place just to go there. :-)

They've managed to stay with the times, though their facade is very dated (but in a Stars Hollow way) with stores like the simple man, and made in omaha, to inkwell, mootz pizza, and timberwood bistro, there is a lot happening on any given day. Theres a lot stores that offer a variety of services and it's centrally located right off of 84th and pacific. There is also ample parking in their lots, and I am happy to see it continue to be a main stay.

Since the Bookworm relocated, I don't come here that often aside from trips to Le Quartier Bakery but there are many cute shops, restaurants and businesses here. The parking lot usually seems pretty full but it's possible some of that is overflow parking from Westside High School across the street when they have events. Pretty easy to get in and out and park close to your desired location. Their website said it was built in 1953 and was on the edge of town at that time. Also : "In today's world of super-sized stores and mega-malls, Countryside Village stands out as a counterpoint. Cozy and familiar, confident but humble, easy and convenient, and above all unique."

Linden Market is a nice little area of shopping, eateries, and a few other services and…read morebusinessses. The parking lot can be a little bit crazy - I feel ike the lines in the parking lot are not painted correctly maybe and some are tighter than others, making people think they are parking normally, but they are actually encroaching on the space next to them. Dinged doors galore! They have a few great businesses though, so we do come here quite often. Five Guys, Linden House (formerly Brushi when we started going there), Teriyaki Express, Pet's Discount, and of course Hy-Vee (our go-to grocery store). A few other businesses are here too, that we just haven't had the need to visit just yet - Lindley Clothing, Oasis Massage, VIP Nails, and Beck. They even have an American Red Cross location, so if you ever want to donate blood, platelets, or plasma, this is a location where you can find a center to do that at. I may even look into doing some blood donations there soon! Suffice to say, Linden Market is similar to many other little business parks, with the focal point being Hy-Vee, but there are a lot of other little things around the perimeter to check out too. I just wish their parking lot was a little easier to traverse!

The prior commercial property management didn't address the panhandlers in the area to control…read moretheir loitering. The panhandlers had once loitered inside the marsh, leaving massive piles of trash, and unopened cans of food and other food and beverage items, all unopened. One man tried to clean up the mess by himself, and he was overwhelmed by the large amount of trash, which included disposed panhandling signs. The previous management ended up having to bring in a large pink hauling dumpster and it was filled past overflowing with the panhandlers' garbage. The panhandlers have since moved across the street to the other berm, and they have begun to leave behind trash and disposed panhandling signs behind the berm, and down by the drain. Sometimes the panhandlers leave personal trash on the berm just under the trees, in full view of passing traffic. I know the current commercial management, Lee and Associates have gotten calls to put up no loitering signs on the opposite berm and in the area close by the drain. They have yet to do anything to help curb the large amount of trash the panhandlers leave behind.

The NE Crossing Outlets have great deals all year round. I enjoy going to find new shoes and…read moreathletic wear. The entire campus is always ALWAYS clean and I like that they have multiple places to stop and get a coffee or snack. They are dog friendly and I love being able to take my pup for public training outings. Recently they had a deal at the Journeys where Doc Martins were as low as $20!! The people working at the shops are very friendly and kind!
