The interior is simple and nice, and stores are spaced out well. There are maps around, and escalators, elevators, and stairs they rarely get too crowded. There's a wide variety of shops, as well as restaurants within and surrounding the mall. If I had one complaint about West roads, I feel the flagships common area is very crowded. This is a little tricky to navigate in and out, depending on the time of day you come. But I do appreciate that they have so many options within this small space! If I was going to any mall in Omaha, it would almost always be Westroads. They do a much better job at selecting and retaining businesses!

They've managed to stay with the times, though their facade is very dated (but in a Stars Hollow way) with stores like the simple man, and made in omaha, to inkwell, mootz pizza, and timberwood bistro, there is a lot happening on any given day. Theres a lot stores that offer a variety of services and it's centrally located right off of 84th and pacific. There is also ample parking in their lots, and I am happy to see it continue to be a main stay.

Since the Bookworm relocated, I don't come here that often aside from trips to Le Quartier Bakery but there are many cute shops, restaurants and businesses here. The parking lot usually seems pretty full but it's possible some of that is overflow parking from Westside High School across the street when they have events. Pretty easy to get in and out and park close to your desired location. Their website said it was built in 1953 and was on the edge of town at that time. The parking lot can be a little bit crazy - I feel ike the lines in the parking lot are not painted correctly maybe and some are tighter than others, making people think they are parking normally, but they are actually encroaching on the space next to them. Dinged doors galore! They have a few great businesses though, so we do come here quite often. Five Guys, Linden House (formerly Brushi when we started going there), Teriyaki Express, Pet's Discount, and of course Hy-Vee (our go-to grocery store). A few other businesses are here too, that we just haven't had the need to visit just yet - Lindley Clothing, Oasis Massage, VIP Nails, and Beck. They even have an American Red Cross location, so if you ever want to donate blood, platelets, or plasma, this is a location where you can find a center to do that at. I may even look into doing some blood donations there soon! Suffice to say, Linden Market is similar to many other little business parks, with the focal point being Hy-Vee, but there are a lot of other little things around the perimeter to check out too. I just wish their parking lot was a little easier to traverse!

Theres also clothing stores, hair salons, and of course Bakers, our kroger grocery store. As a Kiewit kid, I had a lot of friends who lived behind this area and we would frequently walk around and loiter. Now, there isn't much of that, but they is a lot of places for adults to hang. Karma Coffee is a great spot to work or meet with friends and the Texas Roadhouse is always busy. Right of Dodge, if you're looking for something to eat, this is a great place to pull off.

I hate being hounded and just want to enjoy myself browsing. I was greeted while walking in but they left me alone to browse which I was pleasantly surprised about. Store feels bigger on the inside and there was plenty of room to walk around without feeling over crowded. they were having a great sale so it was fairly busy. I took my time looking at everything before settling on my purchases. Not once did the employees hound me which was so much better then other stores out there where they want to follow you around. The sale they were having was great and I spent around $52 including tax for 2 items that would of been around $170.

It's the kind of place where you can spend an afternoon wandering, discovering something new, and supporting local businesses all at the same time. The prior commercial property management didn't address the panhandlers in the area to control…read moretheir loitering. The panhandlers had once loitered inside the marsh, leaving massive piles of trash, and unopened cans of food and other food and beverage items, all unopened. One man tried to clean up the mess by himself, and he was overwhelmed by the large amount of trash, which included disposed panhandling signs. The previous management ended up having to bring in a large pink hauling dumpster and it was filled past overflowing with the panhandlers' garbage. The panhandlers have since moved across the street to the other berm, and they have begun to leave behind trash and disposed panhandling signs behind the berm, and down by the drain. Sometimes the panhandlers leave personal trash on the berm just under the trees, in full view of passing traffic. I know the current commercial management, Lee and Associates have gotten calls to put up no loitering signs on the opposite berm and in the area close by the drain. They have yet to do anything to help curb the large amount of trash the panhandlers leave behind.

I stopped in while putting together Christmas boxes for my out-of-town family and was blown away by how easy they made it to shop small in one place. I was able to find all local products without hopping from store to store including honey, candles, baker's chocolate candies, magnets, t-shirts, and so many other amazing Nebraska-made items. Everything is thoughtfully curated, beautifully displayed, and genuinely high quality. The shop itself is adorable and welcoming, and it feels really good knowing that every purchase supports local makers and businesses.
