I have loved coming to OPP since I was a teenager. There are many stores that you can't find at the…read moremall, but are still nationally known. Until recently it was mostly shopping, and now of course you have the "been around forever" Wheatfields, another Popp eatery, Andres, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Red Mango, 801 Chophouse, and the belle of the ball, Trader Joes. It's funny to think most Omaha millennials might remember Trader Joes as the only Abercrombie and Fitch in town for awhile. How fitting it became another millennial destination! The parking is kind of a mess, it's very cramped and most parking is for TJ's. One bright spot is Zen Coffee has a drive through there so you can grab a delicious matcha latte before your weekly shopping. I'm glad to see new life and staples stay in this plaza.

I used to avoid this shopping center thinking it "snooty" - at least until Trader Joe's moved in…read more Now I make regular visits to shop there and frequent several other businesses. I get my hair cut at Five Salon which specializes in Aveda products. Next door is L'Occitane which is a line of beauty products and fragrances from Provence in the South of France. Kinda pricey but it's the real deal. Fun just to look at their beautiful packaging. Last year I started buying dress pants for work at Talbots. Again, not cheap but high quality (and they have frequent sales). There's a Bath & Body Works, Sur la Table for high end kitchen ware, Wheatfield's and Andres Tortillery for dining options, and other small boutiques. Last but not least, I absolutely cannot visit One Pacific Place without stopping at Nothing Bundt Cakes and picking up a couple of bundtlets - one chocolate chocolate chip and one Flavor of the Month!! Truth be told, sometimes I make up an excuse to stop at One Pacific Place just to go there. :-)

I came in not expecting to buy anything, but found a pair of shoes I couldn't walk away from!…read more I have been inside Nordstrom in other cities--this was my first time in Omaha. The store is about the same, plenty of items, great variety and presentation makes shopping easy and fun. I did expect the prices to be a little more competitive--the kids shoes I bought were $45 with tax which I didn't feel was an amazing deal for a store like this. All in all I would come back for sure, just expecting higher prices than the discount store vibe I expected.

I was left wanting more from the store. The pros: Ample parking, easy entrances. It's large, with very tall ceilings, and things are in departments that make sense. Now, in terms of product, and overall experience, this really gave me Gordmans meets Ross, but with Nordstrom prices. I didn't find anything here that was quality and affordable. A lot of kid items looks like they could be at Tj Maxx but were 2x what I'd pay. The merchandising itself is lacking and add to the cheap side of things which is a contrast to the actual pricing. The lines are queued like Bed Bath and Beyond, and overall I just felt a little blah leaving the store. I don't think I'll return for a while, hopefully they get more merchandise in the store as right now a lot of racks are sparse and lacking quantity.

I stopped in while putting together Christmas boxes for my out-of-town family and was blown away by how easy they made it to shop small in one place. I was able to find all local products without hopping from store to store including honey, candles, baker's chocolate candies, magnets, t-shirts, and so many other amazing Nebraska-made items. Everything is thoughtfully curated, beautifully displayed, and genuinely high quality. The shop itself is adorable and welcoming, and it feels really good knowing that every purchase supports local makers and businesses. It's the perfect one-stop shop for gifts that actually feel meaningful and unique (not just filler items). If you're sending care packages, building gift boxes, or just want to support Omaha-made products, this place is a no-brainer. I'll absolutely be back not just for the holidays, but year-round.
