No cashiers today around 3:00. Only self checkout.

They only had self checkout today with no cashier in sight. I have never seen such a thing!

I always love coming to Target! Well organized and clean. Staff is always willing to help if I have a question or don't know where something is. They have everything you need!

Well today is April 21st and I'm with my five year old using the restroom. The paper is from yesterday and there's a swear on it

This review is long overdue, but what I experienced with Mueller's Furniture--the owner,…read moremanagement, and sales associates--was unacceptable, unprofessional, and manipulative in their effort to make a sale. My experience began while working with Kimberly. We met in person at least three times over several weeks while I was shopping for a dining table. During each visit I clearly explained that I needed a table that could seat 10 people. I planned to purchase 8 matching chairs and use 2 additional chairs I already owned when we had larger family gatherings. When we finalized the purchase, I spent $9,584.07 on the table and chairs. When the table was delivered, we had not yet hosted a large gathering, so we had not used the butterfly leaf extension. During our first large family gathering, we installed the butterfly leaf to expand the table and quickly discovered the table could not even fit the 8 chairs purchased with it, let alone the additional two chairs we intended to use. In fact, the table they sold me realistically only fits 6 chairs, which means it never could have met the requirement I clearly communicated multiple times that I needed seating for 10 people. After the event, I went back to Mueller's and spoke with a manager. They sent a technician to my home to see if the table legs could be widened to allow the chairs to fit. When the technician arrived, he did not even know why he had been sent. After I explained the situation, he immediately said it would not be possible to widen the table legs and did not even need to inspect the table to confirm that. At that point, it felt like management was simply trying to dismiss the issue rather than address the problem they created. After waiting several weeks without any follow-up from the company, I returned to Mueller's again and spoke with Viviana Mueller. She contacted the table manufacturer, Hermes, and told me the only option would be to replace the tabletop for an additional $2,000, while reusing the original legs. She also said we could keep the old tabletop. When I asked what I should do with it, she casually said I could "just throw it away." Considering how expensive the table was, that response was both shocking and wasteful. As we reviewed the dimensions of the replacement tabletop, I quickly realized it still would not seat 10 people. At that point it became clear that they were trying to sell me yet another product that would not meet the needs I clearly communicated from the beginning. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they were attempting to make another sale. I later wrote a letter to CEO Mark Mueller explaining my experience. He called me and stated that their company policy says returns or refunds after delivery are "at the discretion of management." He then told me that his decision was not to work with me, provide a refund, or offer any credit. Throughout this entire process I felt dismissed and ignored after the sale was completed, despite the fact that the issue resulted from their salesperson selling me a table that did not meet the requirements I repeatedly communicated. Based on my experience, this felt very similar to a bait-and-switch style sales tactic. Mueller's often highlights their history and their roots with "Honest John" Mueller and their commitment to community values. Unfortunately, my experience reflected the opposite. Once the sale was made, there was no accountability or effort to correct the situation. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider shopping elsewhere when purchasing furniture.

Take your business and $$ elsewhere! We Purchased two sofas…read moreand a recliner in December 2023, and was told our furniture would deliver in 4-6 weeks later. It is May 12, 2024 and no furniture. Called the store manager (who is also our sales rep), and she blamed everything on production. Doesn't have a clue when our furniture will deliver. She had the audacity to tell us her production team doesn't tell the stores anything. They just deliver when they deliver. I asked for their phone number and she doesn't have one. She can only email them. This same store manager didn't have a hard time following up with us every 10 min for three hours when we were in their store. This store manager didn't have a problem taking our $2700 cash down. But, now...she has no answers. We started calling after not hearing from the store in 7 weeks. It took 6 phone calls and 2.5 weeks to get a call return. And, we were promised we would get our furniture the end of April. We are two weeks into May 2024 and no phone calls, no follow-up, no furniture. Covid can no longer be blamed for these delays. This is customer service at its worst. I would love to take a class action law suit against Lazy Boy. If I cancel my order I am out $2700. It would be better to buy your furniture from a yard sale, at least you would have it in your possession! Buyer BEWARE!

The furniture is great quality and beautiful.

I'm not going to go crazy ranting I'm just going to say that if you wish to purchase furniture do…read morenot buy from Slumberland unless A) you are cool with paying the prices listed on their website that they will use in the store but claim as a sale price and B) are going to pay full outright for the furniture. The quality of my furniture is great, delivery was awesome. But I paid online price for my sectional and my financing through Slumberland is being handled by Tower Loan a completely unprofessional loan company I wouldn't trust a dime to. Assuming any of the information I did find was accurate the loan company is not BBB accredited, and does have some complaints filed against it depending on which office you have to work with. The loan company does not do monthly statements, all you will ever get from them is 1 phone call and 1 piece of paper they refer to as a "welcome packet" that just looks like a barebones invoice. So here's hoping in the 30 odd months you have to pay off the furniture you never lose that paper or misplace the phone number you got from that 1 call cause you'll never hear from them again. Update: I was contacted by the store owner and offered another financing option after voicing my disapproval of Tower Loan here. Had I not already made other arrangements I would have taken this offer which would have cleared up my issues with Tower Loan. Thus I would suggest if you buy furniture on credit with Slumberland make sure they aren't using this company to finance your purchase. I was also contacted by the branch manager of Tower Loan and while some of my concerns stemmed from an initial miscommunication (the piece of paper I received was not the "welcome packet" I was told about, apparently that's sent out later from another location so it arrives after the invoice I received) the rest of them are just business as usual for the company. There's no way to receive any monthly information about your account without requesting it either via phone call or via the memo note on your check (if you pay by check). There's no direct access to your account online or through an automated system (that I've been made aware of) so that you can check on your balance or if a payment posted. There is an online system for making a payment, but that appears to be all that it is for, the last time I tried to use it they still didn't have my account information. If you are a wonderfully organized person who can stay on top of all your monthly bills then I'm sure all of this won't be an issue for you. It is definitely an issue for me. In the future I would happily purchase from Slumberland again, if I can afford to pay the full cost up front as my big issues are all with the loan company that was used and not any of my interactions with Slumberland directly. Final Update: This has been a long time coming, but this is the wrap up of my situation with Slumberland. I was contacted by the owner of Slumberland who explained to me the issues they had during the sale and that my experience was not the norm. It is their policy and practice to explain the various types of financing and allow you to choose the one you want, not just sign you up for one as I experienced. He was very attentive to my feedback, called his managerial contact with Tower Loan to express my issues with how I was engaged by my local branch. Also offered to help me switch my loan over to their other financing company but I had already made other arrangements. What I really wanted was for someone to hear my complaint to avoid others having the same experience I did in the future. Given the circumstances I feel Slumberland did everything they could to handle my initial dissatisfaction and would happily shop with them again.
