I circled around a couple times to find this location. I saw the large Target sign on Norwalk and assumed that it was on Norwalk...it is not. I then pulled into the side, but the large trees block the sign Target, and you can only read CVS pharmacy. It was so confusing. Okay, so I'm now in the store and the dollar section in the front is completely picked over and messy. How they're able to accomplish both, I don't know. We check out and there is a lady cussing up a STORM. She was banging on the employee door and cussing out employees. It was a wild scene. The cashier did not say anything about it, she seemed very uncomfortable and new. (she had a sticker name tag) I felt bad for her, but I felt management/security should have controlled the situation a little bit better. The good: it was reasonably easy to find an employee to help me in the jewelry section. Usually, there's no one nearby, and then you have to hunt someone down from another area often interrupting them in whatever conversation/task they are in. They were able to discount an earring set I liked because it was missing a pair. (All too common). The bad: this location is poorly stocked. I couldn't find Weleda Hair oil, Dry Idea or Certain Dri deodorants, their Derma-E stock was pitiful, and they were out of several of the Pacifica fragrances. I know I'm a bit hippie-dippie with my toiletry preferences, but other Targets stock these items. These lines are better health wise. Stocking them more will get them more exposure. It's a win-win. I'm most unhappy about the deodorants. Certain Dri is only available at Target. But apparently not this one. read more

I just went in for some small items and happened to grab a container of organic girl good clean greens baby spinach .I was making a salad when I noticed the spinach had Brown rim around it and little holes which are definitely a sign that a little predator is inside. I did some rummaging around the spinach and found a bug inside !!it is alive and I've never seen it before!! it's really gross and I'm really bummed out that I spent money on this !!I hope you guys can get back to me and help me solve this problem as I do not wanna go all the way back at the moment. read more

I despise liars! I went to this stupid target to get Nes Classic Edition. Stock showed 3. I was first person to show up. Then a billion people were behind me. I just knew that the first 3 would get one. Wrong. Store opened. We all asked about it. All employees said it is discontinued and they sold all yesterday. Lies. They had 5 yesterday. Then they got 3 today. So i went to the scanner. Scanned barcode. It showed stock. These punks still didnt honor it. Punk in electronics was adamant about it. Lady is guest services was sweet. But she went along with the story. Sad that these employees will Lie about 3 $65 toys so they can flip them on offerup or ebay. Too bad this store just incurred another 1 star review for that practice. I will never go to this dump again. Dont go here for high demand items. Btw, other Targets in the area got shipments. Lets just say that many people always say Norwalk is not a place where you should be at late at night but here I was in Norwalk late at night in a Target and I would say I felt fine and safe! I feel like I'm always at a Target almost daily it doesn't matter if it is this location to the next they are all almost the same. Service was fine and friendly and I got asked if I needed help while I was browsing around in the isles!! Parking is huge but I have yet to be here during the weekend. I love me some Tarh-gèt!! I love the way they stick their products, and set up their aisles. I love their sales and cartwheel app and especially my RedCard!!!! 5% off everything, just for using it!!! And it's not a credit (well it can be if you want that); I have it attached to my debit card!! Hip hip hooray!! This Target is convenient to my work and I often have spent many a lunch break here shopping, while running into a few co-workers doing the same. There's a brand new Starbucks inside and you can use your RedCard there, too (5%off). They still have the snack bar, stocked with popcorn and hot dogs, pizza and salads and a wide variety of beverages (bottled and fountain). Come shopping. Maybe I'll see you there. Looking for a compass last night and Staples/Office Depot was closed, walmart did not have the one I need. Target to the rescue, but they did not have the one I need either. They did have everything I was looking for at good prices and without the walmart crowds. Here in the mega-strip-outlet-mall on the corner of two of Norwalks busiest streets lies the Target store. In addition to essential toiletries, incedantals and school supplies I left with some cool stickers and coloring books for my nephews. The store is not super-huge, it has well placed aisles, easy to get around. The food court was closed, too bad, I like thier dogs, popcorn and ice cream. The service was ok, no complaints and no supa-dupa props. The parking lot is pretty big for a target and shares it with a small kinkos so you can typically find better-than-walmart parking. I have been here and will probably be back before summer or fall classes. read more

I've been to numerous Target stores and this one is the worse. The only reason I stopped was because I was minutes away and I needed something for my cat. The store itself is your typical Target, well stocked and priced well. Cleanliness was just okay as well as organization in general. Customer service is lacking, especially at the cash register. Why do you have so many registers with only 3 cashiers and only one had her light on(laziness?) I was in line along with 3 others who were equally confused as to why the cashiers on the other register(with no light ), we're calling out "next guest in line"! She didn't address any of us in line, she motioned towards the confused people trying to find their way around the registers. Also the layout of the registers is a mess, sort of like a row of domino's or something, very confusing. Cashiers were unfriendly, no eye contact or greeting of any sort. I'm not picky by any means but this place needs to step it up..good thing is, I won't be back...I'll stick to Cerritos Target, nice organized staff who keep register lights on and treat guests good.. read more

I frequent this location thanks to the large parking lot, cleanliness of the store and STARBUCKS! Who can complain about walking around target with an unsweet shaken icetea lemonade in one hand and pushing a car full of happy goodies in the other. Besides, this is the only time you actually get a discount of 5% when you use your red card at the in store starbucks. The store is always kept clean and tidy (with exception of holidays but that is normal). The workers are friendly, efficient and helpful. The prices are a little more than Walmart but you ditch a lot of the ghetto not so fabulous crowd during you shopping experience. For me, this is completely worth the up-pricing of a few cents. I always like to check out their clearance sections at the end of personal hygiene aisles as you can pick up some pretty sweet deals. If you haven't signed up for a red card yet, please do so. It makes a difference on regular store purchases but also at the pharmacy. Every 5 refills you get a one day discount card to shop. Yay! Today, my disabled mother and I tried to shop at Target. My mom doesn't get out much, as she's disabled. So I attempted to take her out, but she requires a motorized cart. So there was one sitting there. It was unplugged. So I tried to take it to her, as she was having difficulty. It died immediately. Jonathan - the security guard was standing there, chatting with a woman, in plain street clothes. We asked Jonathan about it. He said that's all there were at the moment. My mother tried to ask Jonathan to not let anyone take it since it is now plugged back in. She'd go sit at Starbucks a while. He ignored her, so I asked, he was rude in saying well it takes a long time. Very unhelpful. Very rude. Why have customer service if They aren't there to help your shoppers. Guess target doesn't need our money. Jonathan just lost them a paying family. I order all my household supplies from target as it's an hour from my home. Today was one of the most frustrating experiences due to the lack of cashiers. I was once told that I could not stand behind the self-service register and I was really upset because if I am going to be my own cashier, that entire register becomes my domain during my transaction. Today, however, I stopped by in the morning, and during self-service, there was a senior citizen who could not figure out how to check out. It was very frustrating because there was no cashier or staff to help her out; I had to help her out myself. I am not being paid by Target, I had to spend my own time/money to help this lady out because of your failure to staff the registers. Anyway, during this transaction, I got a mouse that was wrapped with a security spider. I walked to the self-service register and began my transaction. I started to remove the spider with the magnet provided by Target at the self-checkout. An employee walked to me and took the mouse from my hands and informed me that I was not allowed to take off my own security spider; this is unacceptable. Either the register is self-service or you put a cashier there to run my transaction. I am not a Target employee, therefore, I do not answer to any employee when I am doing my own self-checkout. If you don't want people to stand inside the register, block it off. If you don't want people to remove their security spider, remove the magnet. Either you have a fully self-service register for me to use where you avoid paying a person to run the transaction or you put a person there to run the transaction, pay them a livable wage, and give them full benefits. Please reconsider the self-service registers. Either allow me to run my transaction as if I am an employee of Target or staff your registers so I don't have to help strangers or get into arguments with employees who stand around doing nothing instead of getting on a register. I am tired of spending 30 minutes in line waiting to give you my money. read more

Drove 40 miles from Orange County looking for a Dyson V8 origin vacuum after checking every other target in my area and being told it was out of stock. Target Norwalk stated to have 8 in stock after arriving and finding nothing on the shelf. I drive from Huntington park to this Norwalk target, because the targets near me are horrible. So, today I went in looking for a pink Stanley Cup, I asked many associates for helping with checking they're was any in the "back". LITERALLY 4 out of 5 said "no,sold out just what's there" or "no, it might say we have some but the system isn't updated there should be anymore". Even though my target app said they had 7 in that location! So I was like noo you guys should have some if it said one or two i probably wouldnt have asked. It said SEVEN! so I was literally just giving up when I passed by this young man named DIEGO I asked and he said yes ofc let me check that out for you. I enjoy coming to this Target. Its always clean and organized.. however, I dont understand why the cafeteria closes early. I come here about 5pm and its closed. They have the best Dollar section. It's organized and I feel like they have more. This place actually feels organized, especially the Christmas stuff. Target must be going through a lot because they are having tons of deals! WIN! I got some winter clothes for 40% off! Sweeeet. Christmas stuff will be on sale soon... 50% first, then 75% whatever is left over. So... Target is where it's at. :D They actually had a lot of cashiers opened, probably because it's Xmas season. But still... their Xmas bags/wrapping paper is expensive (but then again, I shop at the DollarTree and 99 cents store a lot) but I decided to be funny to my friends and wrap their gift in Justin Bieber wrapping paper ($3.99 for a roll). Yes, they had Justin Bieber wrapping paper. My cousin-in-laws went nuts (they are teenagers :) ) Pharmacy is good. Parking: Big parking lot but everyone fights for the close spots haha. read more

This is my local Target and there are a few things I like and don't like about it, so I'll just go straight to the 2 main things: CON: I like to take advantage of their price match policy. This store always gives me such a hard time with price matches. The Lakewood Target allows cashiers to do the price adjustment at the register as long as it's under a certain $$ value and I can pull up the item in front of the cashier. This location requires you to go to customer service. If their Target device isn't working, you may get someone saying you can't price match even though you are pulling up the item on 2 different "eligible" sites in front of their CS rep. That to me is ridiculous. If your device isn't working, I shouldn't have to forfeit my right to have the price match honored. This happened with a $1.50 price deduction. Imagine what they would have done if I did the price match I was easily able to do at the Lakewood store that was a $100 price difference. The Lakewood store was also having a hard time finding the item, but they let me pull it up and I even let them borrow my phone so they could pull it up themselves to see that I wasn't using some made up or old site. Even price matching at the Carmenita location 3 miles away isn't as difficult. Oh and when I tried to price match with Amazon I was told that if I had to log in to an account to get the item I couldn't price match with that site. I explained that anyone can buy this item at Amazon and there is no special pricing for Amazon prime members so that argument is ridiculous. So it almost seems like they make up their own rules or don't properly train their employees. Cashier training could improve too: two days ago there was a lady trying to take advantage of the gift card special mentioned in the ad, and she didn't speak great English and the cashier seemed a little annoyed with her and told her she needed the coupon on her phone to get the gift card. The cashier was holding the ad with the barcode for the promo. Not quite sure why she couldn't just scan it for her since the lady knew about the promo just didn't understand it wasn't automatically applied. I felt the cashier could've done better and offered a one time courtesy to scan the coupon straight from the ad. But instead she called a manager over who I believe did scan the barcode but then it didn't work and she offered a $5 discount on the purchase instead. All of this caused a good 10 minute delay in checking out. So I quickly regretted getting in that line when this situation could've been handled much more smoothly and quickly than it was. Just my 2 cents. PRO: In just the last few weeks it's seems there's been a push to have employees greet every single customer they walk past. The smiles and "good morning" or "hello, finding everything ok?" is greatly appreciated it. And I have yet to encounter one that seemed fake. The ones that don't want to greet you dont' and it doesn't bother me but 4/5 employees I've come across have greeted me in some way or have offered to help me find something. The regular cashiers have also been very helpful when I forget to scan one of those special coupons from the ad; they have applied the coupon afterwards and given me the amount back. So they do have some great cashiers, but definitely have a few bad apples. read more

Literally, two attendants were re-stocking some items and talking about applying to other jobs and how much the loathe working and interacting with people.
