Standard Target location in the City of Norwalk, but not so standard is the cleanliness, at least on my last visit. Yikes! I was planning to get lunch at Paddison Square on the northwest corner of Imperial and Norwalk, but it was 9:30 AM when I arrived, way too early for lunch! I spent an hour or so at this Target, which is the anchor store facing Imperial Hwy. Upon entry, I needed to use the restroom, but none of their soap dispensers were functional! I tried all three, but nothing came out from any of them, so I couldn't totally clean my hands here. I went out and found a hand sanitizer dispenser, and guess what? Nothing came out of there too! Suddenly, it felt like this Target location didn't believe in clean hands?! Luckily, there were some cart wipes available near the entrance, and that was really my only way to keep my hands clean. Unfortunately, I noticed that the trash receptacle next to the cart wipes was full! Seriously, it felt like they were trying to do everything possible to make sure my hands wouldn't be clean while inside the store. At this Target, the entrance is on the left side of the building, and there is no entrance on the right hand side. For the most part, the foods are located on the far end of the store, so you'd have to walk quite a long way to knock off even one item off your grocery shopping list. The electronics are in the rear of the store, but I was intrigued they had a Pac Man arcade game, which I believe you could actually play inside the store! I hadn't seen that before at any of the Target locations I've been to, so I thought that was kind of cool! However, while I was looking through the shampoos in the hair care section, a couple of the bottles looked gross! Like ugh! How many people touched these bottles or how old were they even?! Of course, that's not to say all their other shampoo bottles were filthy on the outside, but I still can't believe all these missteps at maintaining the cleanliness of the store! The associates on the store were working hard, but one almost bumped into me while moving merchandise around! I even saw an unattended U-Boat blocking a handful of merch in front of some shelves. How much more carelessness can there be?! Near the exit, I saw a podium that asked "How friendly were we today?" I almost felt tempted to hit the red button on the far right to express my dissatisfaction overall, but I couldn't tell what would happen if I hit any of these buttons. Would someone have popped out of nowhere and interrogate me?! Who knows? I didn't even want to try lol. There are two Target locations in Norwalk: this one and one on Firestone just off the 605 freeway. Based on my experience at this location in Paddison Square, I'm led to believe the one that shares a parking lot with Chick-fil-A on the other side of a mini golf course would be the superior Norwalk location. And with so many other locations closer to me, it would take *a lot* for me to even step inside this one again. read more

The drive up pick up experience is a joke. Save yourself an hour and a headache and just shop what you need yourself or go to another target location, where this is never a problem. This complainant and issue is specific to this location. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Tonight's visit was beyond disappointing To have spoken to not one manager, but an two and this one was a "executive assistant manager" named Joshua he mentioned to say that to me when I asked for the employees name without a name tag (stating he's not obligated to give his name ) he shouldn't be on the main floor then , because it states that you are required to wear a name tag as part of the target dress code it is supposedly considered standard practice for retail employees to wear visible name tag to identify themselves to customers. If I'm not mistaken . -- they just pretty much brushed my complaint as if it was nothing no information relayed just a sorry we'll talk to him as they're staring off into the distance looking at a police vehicle passing by not taking what I'm telling them seriously . I'll be calling in the morning as well to corporate because what I witnessed wasn't appropriate for any employee to engage in any type of conversation/ confrontation with a customer . And for management to allow it and not look it over is just RIDICULOUS! To allow an employee who takes out pick up orders yell at a customer WALKING IN with their bike I'd rather explain more over the phone and in person . read more

The store is very large and clean. Has a lot of everyday items and even specialty items. Great customer service, and lots of fast check out lanes. Parking is a little tough sometimes but once you're in, it's always a great experience. read more

There was no one to help in electronics department. Saw four guys coming down the aisle maybe going on break or going to do another task because they avoided eye contact with me. It was obvious they wanted to ignore me. I called out to one of the guys and he actually stopped to help and look up stock of an item. I feel like this is standard procedure at Targets to ignore customers because this isn't the only store where this has happened. read more

This is my go to store for many years. Recently they are allowing homeless and others to stand directly by the entrance and exit doors asking for money. I had to go through 5 different people today before I went to my car. Also, I noticed that the isles usually only have 1 clerk and the wait is about 15 to 25 minutes to check out. They push for us to go to the self serve isles but you need to have 10 or less items. read more

Target is and always has been my go to store. Every time I go to the store it's always so clean. I love the Target app. I like that you can put what you are specifically looking for and it will tell you the aisle it is in. I also love to save money and the cartwheel is so very convenient when you are buying something you can scan it on the app to see if there is a cartwheel available and all you need to do is add it on the app and put your phone number at the register when paying. I appreciate the option for drive up, it is so convenient for busy mamas and papas of course. You also get to put on the app that you are on your way so they can have your order ready outside for you. I take my daughter to school, go to school and run a business and this makes things so much easier when you don't have time to run in and get what you need. The employees are always so fast and efficient and I appreciate them so much. I wish they would allow us to give them a tip because at times they are standing in the Sun waiting for the next customer to pick up there orders. read more

I rarely write bad reviews because I feel most of the time it's unnecessary but this time is different. I come to this target almost everyday because it's close to my house. Today I came with my grandma and she wanted to return a glade spray because it was broken. Cindy was the one processing her refund and she was SOO rude. I have never met such a rude employee at this target. We walk up she doesn't even say hi she just looks at us. My grandma tells her she wants to do an exchange and gives her the new glade spray but she doesn't care and just does the refund without an exchange. Fine. Cindy scans everything and aggressively tells my grandma "Your debit card?" and my grandma nods and Cindy goes "Then put your card in..." with an attitude. She does all of this while loudly chewing her gum as if she was a mean girl bully character pulled straight from a movie. My grandma doesn't speak English very well which i understand can be frustrating if you don't speak or understand Spanish but why be rude and upset at her? It was a very short but rude and aggressive interaction. To make matters worse I believe she's some kind of supervisor or manager because an employee came up to her and asked where she would like them to be during their shift. I went with my grandpa earlier this week to set up his first cell phone ever. He had a million questions that I tried answering for him before we got there (like this man didn't even know what wifi was or how a cell phone could have internet access), but he still had a million more when we got there. We were there in the afternoon, but the guy was all by himself working in the electronics area. We waited patiently while he wrapped up the couple customers he had already, and he still made sure to let us know he was gonna come right over as soon as he could. He was so patient with my grandpa, thorough, and honest with his suggestions. He helped my grandpa pick out a phone, answered his questions, and set the line up for him. This guy was being being pulled in all directions throughout the time he was with us. His name was Sergio (I think he said he's from tech, not electronics) but he has long curly hair pulled back. I just wanted to say that he did so great, despite being back there on his own and juggling other customers, managers asking questions, and the walkie talkie going off for him. I can't thank enough how helpful he was. If y'all see this, please know he was working his ass off to make sure everyone was taken care of. read more

December 23 it's 1:31 PM a girl named precious was working in the store right next to the shoes and she was picking something out and I asked her a question. I asked her if they had non-slip, slip resistant shoes that I need it for work she said if they had them it will be in that area. Love the location as it's in a plaza near work, seated in the corner where there's a good amount of parking. They also have the drive up feature for pickup which I've used once; the service was pretty efficient. What I'm disappointed in the lost is that this location does NOT have self checkout kiosks. I'm not sure what qualifies a target to have these, but they really make a difference in the speediness of checking out. I once waited close about 10 minutes in line just to checkout- not acceptable. This was recently too, and not during the holidays. It's frustrating when you have less than 10, or even 5 items and all the registers are swamped. This is my go to Target. I like that they have a Starbucks l, especially during the holidays when shopping could be frequent and painstaking. This location is always clean, customer service is always subpar, and they usually have what I need in stock. The lines can get long, but nowadays what store or target doesn't? It's close to the house and right off the freeway which makes us a plus too. I can always count on this location to come through when I need it. I circled around a couple times to find this location. I saw the large Target sign on Norwalk and assumed that it was on Norwalk...it is not. I then pulled into the side, but the large trees block the sign Target, and you can only read CVS pharmacy. It was so confusing. Okay, so I'm now in the store and the dollar section in the front is completely picked over and messy. How they're able to accomplish both, I don't know. We check out and there is a lady cussing up a STORM. She was banging on the employee door and cussing out employees. It was a wild scene. The cashier did not say anything about it, she seemed very uncomfortable and new. Around Christmas they were selling a box of four stemless wine glasses for $9. I was using them on New Year's and they could take hot tea. I've also bought a camera pouch here. The good: it was reasonably easy to find an employee to help me in the jewelry section. Usually, there's no one nearby, and then you have to hunt someone down from another area often interrupting them in whatever conversation/task they are in. They were able to discount an earring set I liked because it was missing a pair. (All too common). The bad: this location is poorly stocked. I couldn't find Weleda Hair oil, Dry Idea or Certain Dri deodorants, their Derma-E stock was pitiful, and they were out of several of the Pacifica fragrances. I know I'm a bit hippie-dippie with my toiletry preferences, but other Targets stock these items. These lines are better health wise. Stocking them more will get them more exposure. It's a win-win. I'm most unhappy about the deodorants. Certain Dri is only available at Target. But apparently not this one. read more
