This location is pretty big and really below street level except for the entrance. Theres an elevator, escalators and stairs to get down to the main shopping level. Returns are right at the bottom to the left. You can grab a cart here as well. The checkout and self check out are on this level too. Theres also a level below the main one which is the main shopping area. The fresh food area is here. It gets busy here but this location has pretty much what every Target has.

Wow, this is largest Target store in NYC with 2 floors. OMG the cutest target statue dog as you head in...Very clean and organized inside. Self check out and regular lines. Aisles are clearly marked so easy to find things. Escalator heading down as you go into the main level and lower level is the market for groceries. Shopping carts and baskets available as you walk in. You will need it unless going to pick up something quick. Check out is easy and staff if helpful if you have any issues/questions. Don't forget to use target app on the phone for target circle offers to clip and add ahead of time. Each visit helps accrue to target circle earnings. Will definitely come to this location when in the area.

Target on 86th Street is excellent customer service. I spoke with two employees today and they are so kind and helpful. They always go out of their way to see I am satisfied. This store is so clean. I like the wet nap dispenser. I don't have to touch the railing on the escalator and I can clean my hands after shopping. The baskets are very clean too. I'm not afraid to put my purchases in them. This is important if it's food items. Prices have skyrocketed. I give the item price on my photo captions so you can compare to where you live. It is good information before you decide to more to the Island of Manhattan! I'm raising the stars to Five because I really really enjoy shopping here. I just need to control myself! They carry so many cute items.

This newer NYC Target has to be one of my favorites in the city. Most Manhattan Targets are small with not a lot of selection, but they have done a great job with this location. I recently shopped here on a whim for their holiday section and was really surprised with the amount of merchandise they had in stock. All of the pricing was really affordable too. Most of the time I order online with ship to home but whenever an item isn't available to ship, I will pick it up at this location. It's super easy to get to from the subway stations as well. Also just a note, sometimes pricing on certain items can be cheaper online so I find that ordering online to pickup in store versus strictly shopping in store can be a better option as well. Also this location has a great Dollar Spot section. It's never too picked over and has a lot of cute items for $5 or less.

No joke, I really liked this new Target location on the UES. Located in the old Barnes & Noble spot they renovated the space to fit in a fairly large store. The shopping experience here is so much better than many of the other Targets in Manhattan I have been too. Most of them are almost pop-ups in cramped spots. This one is spread out over two levels. The men's and women's clothing sections are small and lack any real variety, so don't expect mush. The market on the lower level is pretty large along with housewares and basic needs. The women's makeup and beauty are on top level with a good selection. Along with a CVS on top floor too. Self check out kiosks and manned cashiers on top floor too, along with seasonal items. Comparable prices. Looked neat and organized. Lots of staff on duty. All escalators were working. Not too bad at all.

This is Monday 3pm. A lot of people. Packed. It is like a regular store though. Clean. Full of stock. There are seriously lack of staff at this location.

Terribly packed and chaotic location. Probably that's how it is on a weekend in NYC. The line is long. You would want to leave immediately. A typical target. Staff were not very helpful.

While I appreciate a Target opening in UWS, they may want to take a moment to get organized. Many of the shelves are empty. It does appear they are receiving inventory, because tje somewhat small aisles are blocked with boxes. Escalators to enter and in store were not working and only one of the two elevators was working. For security reasons the three bathrooms can only be accessed by an associate entering a code. Needs some organization..

However, LESS THAN A YEAR LATER, the steel bench is rusting. I contacted customer service and sent photos to which they responded, "It must be moisture, that's why it's rusting." My guests, who are not frequent, put their shoes in the cubbyhole. They certainly do NOT put soaking WET shoes for days in the SAME CUBBYHOLE to make it rust this way. Otherwise, this is where I store my cookbooks. They offered me an outsourced furniture service to 'fix' the issue AT MY COST. The fact that they won't listen to me, or admit this is a faulty piece of furniture, and help me replace it is mind-boggling. For over $700 and Less than a YEAR in my home, NOT EXPOSED CONSTANTLY to WET SHOES makes ZERO sense why this is happening. And instead of being of assistance to keep me as a customer who has spent over $3.5k at this store, it is just sad and VERY BAD service. I've always been a huge fan of west elm. So when I purchased a throw on blanket in store I expect…read morethe quality to be top notch and nothing short of it. Three months passed after the day of purchase at this point I'm past the return policy. I threw my receipt away because I wasn't foreseeing any problems I was gonna encounter with this gorgeous blanket. After owning this blanket for three months I decided to wash it. I read the directions it clearly stated wash warm and dry warm which is what I did at the laundry mate. What happened nexts the blanket had burnt patches all over the place. So the nexts question is what do I do just deal with it it only cost me a 140 dollars, or do I take it back and have them exchange it or refund me due to a defected product I was sold? I explained the whole situation to them they appeared to understand my situation. The cashier did try to see if they had another one in stock they didn't he was gonna swap it out. But because they had no more blankets left in store they basically told me I was screwed and there wasn't anything they could do for me. I asked if this blanket could be ordered online they said yes. Because I didn't have proof of purchased they couldn't give me a store credit. I spoke to an operator before heading over. The operator said they could look up my receipt with the card I used to for payment. I did exactly this and it didn't work because I was informed after 30 days they delete all past transactions wtf? If I didn't push and threaten to protest to not leave the store until someone compensate me the staff/management would have screwed me over. 20 minutes later they finally decided to give me a store credit. I got no apologies nothing I left the store feeling like I wasn't a valued client. This is ok I'll just park my money somewhere else!

In recent years they've tried to change that opinion and have some decent things now. Which brings us to my issue - I ordered an entryway console and paid the extra shipping fee because it was a heavy item. The next level of service is a white glove service where the unpack, build and place your item. I didn't need that since UPS brings packages to your apt door and I could take it from there. This package was shipped with William Sonomas service - no tracking, no nothing. They dropped an 80lb box that was almost 4' long and awkward a step inside my apartment building lobby. No doorbell ring, no nothing. This thing was impossible to move without assistance. So they're still a terrible company with questionable quality pieces, but now their service sucks also.

The store is beautiful, and very neatly kept. I found my items right away, and proceeded to the checkout. The store associates were most helpful, and I was in and out in five minutes. Great location. Pretty housewares, merchandised beautifully…read more Based on my limited experience (I've stopped in ~3 times over the past quarter), getting things done around here requires interacting with the (seemingly capable) store staff, but there are too many shoppers and insufficient employees on the floor to help. I've been increasingly desperately in need of replacing my ~20-year old silverware that I think I purchased from a Bed Bath & Beyond for maybe $20. As it turns out, there's a pretty massive range of cutlery sets on the market, and I felt inclined to see and touch several options before making a purchase, especially if I'm going to drop substantially more than $20 on a replacement. This Crate & Barrel definitely doesn't lack for choice, but my transaction wasn't nearly as simple as picking out a box of new forks and knives. On my first visit, I narrowed down my selection based on aesthetics and material. I learned that I don't love textured metals, and I mildly prefer satin finishes over mirrored ones. I also discovered how massive a range in pricing there is between entry level cutlery and the high end brands. After reading several online reviews, I also determined that I wanted to purchase 18/10 steel for its durability. After all that, I'd figured out that C&B's Aero line (which seems to be a rebranded Cutipol product) might fit the bill, but I wasn't thrilled about the two-tone version they had on display. According to their website, they carry an all-metal version in store, and one of the employees was able to confirm it was in stock in the backroom, however, I had somewhere else to rush off to and decided to come back another time. On my second visit, I bee-lined it to the silverware section and waited to hunt down an employee who could help me obtain a set of the all-metal Aero cutlery. 10-15 minutes later, I finally got to handle a sample. This shit isn't cheap. I wasn't quite prepared to drop several hundred bucks on new silverware, but the store associate came up with the most brilliant idea: after confirming that there was no discount for purchasing multiple sets at once, she suggested I just buy one set to try out for awhile. That way, if I hated it, I wouldn't be out the full shebang. Genius, truly. Several weeks later, generally satisfied with the tester set, I returned for an additional three to round out my cutlery collection. It's a good thing I waited, too, because somewhere during the intervening time, they went on holiday sale for 20% off. My frugal inner Asian granny delights in a discount! Again, I had to wait around for a (harried) store employee to use their magical mobile app powers to summon a minion from the backroom for the ever-elusive non-displayed silverware and was -- eventually -- rewarded for my patience with a trio of shiny (more affordable!) utensil sets! All told, C&B offers a wide range of products. If what you're seeking isn't on display, there's a non-zero chance they might have more hidden away behind the scenes, so ask for help. And before arrival, be sure to gird your loins for a wait, because I've yet to encounter a scenario where there's an overabundance of staff standing around ready to assist.

He from the beginning was impatient in answering our questions about items and was showing attitude for no good reason. We had a terrible experience in their store when we tried to order goods worth more than $3000. He made a mistake in the order. When we asked him to cancel, rather than cancelling the order, he made a duplicate order without notifying us. Our card was charged twice without our approval for the duplicate order. He, after making the duplicate order, told us that we should come back and return the duplicate item when it arrives to get back our money. We were surprised that our card was charged twice without our approval although we were standing in front of him when he was putting in the order. We asked him to cancel both orders as we did not want to come back to return the duplicate item. At that point he became even more rude and was extremely unhelpful. He said the store manager was not around to resolve this dispute, although it seemed he was the store manager. He didn't seem to care that he lost a customer who was ready to buy goods above $3000. This staff should be held responsible for not only losing a customer forever for Rejuvenation and ruining William Sonoma's reputation but also because he was non-transparent to the customer and charged their card for a duplicate item without their approval. Be very very careful when you order anything in the Rejuvenation store and double check what they are charging on your card. We still haven't got back our refund that was charged on our card without our consent.
