Don't purchase gift cards from this store, they scammed me out of $300! On 8/24/23 I stood in line and requested a gift card from the back because all the signs stated "Please see cashier for physical gift card"! The cashier refused twice to provide me with a gift card from the back and told me to go to the front of the store to obtain one from the rack and then I'd have to get back in line. I pointed out every sign in each isle yet was still told to go obtain one. As I looked through the cards the manager was checking people out with his phone device and I filed a complaint to him and he began assisting me to select a "secure card" from the rack... the manager still did not offer me a gift card from the back once again then check me out on the phone device. Fast forwarding as of 8/28/23 after giving the gift card to my friend on 8/27/23 who is expecting a baby, the card is empty. I went back today to speak to that same manager and he says there's nothing he can do, he took all safety precautions he could by checking the cards that day with me. As of today all the target cards are not on the rack that I got mine from, they are in the back. I would like to hear from the general manager or corporate ASAP. read more

I came to view the new Tabitha Brown collection early in the morning. I got a basket because I planned to buy quite a few things but it was dirty and had used drink bottles in it. I tried to exchange it but mostly all of the baskets where dirty and had some type of residue on them. I was never greeted even though there was staff in front of the store. To my dismay I tried to try on the clothing to find a good fit but the fitting room was closed. There were like four filled clothing racks blocking the entrance of the fitting room. Honestly this is why I usually don't frequent this store it's so messy and the customer service is beyond poor. Finally towards the end I went to check out at self service since the lines were long but was met by Yolanda. She never greeted me but as soon as I got to the front of the line she said "Could she help me"? I was puzzled by this because I never asked for assistance. Then as I proceeded to check out my items she hovered around me every step of the way never taking her eyes off me. I was very uncomfortable but completed my transaction. She has some type of bias and needs to learn how to treat people better. read more

Went in tonight with my son. He needed to grab some t-shirts and boxers. Now I hadn't been to this area of the store since the remodel some months back. What do I discover when I get to the men's underwear area? Every t-shirt, sock and boxer from both Target's Goodfellow and other major brands LOCKED BEHIND MULTIPLE GLASS CASES. Like are you kidding me? Are people stealing this stuff too or is Target just being paranoid? Worse yet, scanning our hands under the sensor for someone to come help open the case so we could get something got us nothing. Even after doing it multiple times no one ever came. Mind you, I stood there waiting over 10 minutes and never saw or heard anyone come over. This is all made worse by the store being ridiculously packed. I know it was the night before Valentines day but still: a few check out lanes open and self check out lanes limited to just 10 items or less make this a horrible shopping experience. Nice, clean store. Just horrible to shop at. We ended up leaving empty handed; we ended up at the Canyon Springs Target. Its just annoying having to deal with this on items that shouldn't be locked up. And despite what these companies and the news would like people to believe, retail theft has been down. Its not rampant enough to place things like deodorant, socks and detergent behind locked cases. read more

Since the remodel, there is so much product locked behind glass it's ridiculous. It took ten minutes just to get someone to unlock a case for me so I could buy deodorant. I will be buying from Amazon from now on. Additionally, they barely open any actual checkout lanes anymore, and rely on self checkout where half the stations don't work. Worst target ever. I was having a hard time getting my red card on my phone because the store removes my reception and I asked the cashier if they have WI-FI and she said "everyone got WI-FI on their phone". Instead of helping me she embarrassed me in front of the customers and told me to "move aside" so she can ring up other people. I went to look for WI-FI and found target guest WI-FI which allowed me to get my Target card from the app. The cashier was so rude she could have just helped me to begin with instead she was ignoring me as I was talking to her when she was ringing up my items. The manager was just as rude being super short with me. I rather drive somewhere else than go to this Target. I regret spending 300 dollars there. read more

Wow! This is a Super Target! What is a Super Target? One word, Super! Super with a capital S. If a store like this doesn't deserve a five star what does? Grocery, cosmetics, clothing, shoes, electronics, food concessions and more! Pretty much everything you need to take if yourself and your family under one roof. Self checkout or cashiers. Friendly helpful employees. I'd call this place a hidden gem but it's too huge to hide. One thing I've noticed every time I've came here is that for some reason, it's never very crowded. This is a Super Target and its apparent as soon as you walk through the doors. This place is massive. Has to be close to a half a million square feet in size. Good selection of items from groceries, household stuff, pharmacy, clothing, toys, electronics, and more. Just had to leave after waiting 45+ minutes for a pick up order. They gave 6 cars that came up after me their order, and when I inquired why mine was taking so long, Diana decided to rudely tell me "we are working on it". I left. Use Walmart. They apparently know what "order" is. read more

This store is clean,neat and organized all the canned foods/ labels are stacked all lined up. The merchandise is in order and well stocked. There's not enough cash registers that are open at times though, their could be 5 people waiting in each line and two registers open, maybe three. employees are polite. It's nice to see they've gotten rid of the rude and snooty employees that were working their. If you do choose to purchase something They'll give you two weeks for you to exchange or return an item. if it's a gift during the holidays 30 days, but if you have a red card it's 60 days to return/ exchange an item. I can only suggest: to open another register when someone sees more than 3 people in a line, start selling sweet potato, cauliflower crust to make your own pizza and Gruyere cheese too. The return policy would change. it's simply annoying, there's plenty of other stores that don't have a time limit to return merchandise and you don't need any card to do so. I try to avoid purchasing anything here just for that reason. read more

This review is for the Starbucks inside this Target. Absolute worst customer service! I watched the workers talk amongst themselves for a few minutes until they finally acknowledged me and took my order. I ordered an iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso (which tasted terrible) it took like awhile for my drink to be made because the barista HALEY took it upon herself to think that her coworkers orders were way more important than mine (they ordered after me). I could have complained and made her make my drink but I didn't want to waste another 20 minutes of my time. They obviously don't value their customers nor their time. The only "local" target I shop at. It's big and has a grocery store. It has become even more discovered lately which pisses me off. I like shopping minus the crowds. I was in the area and had a register for a baby shower, and a 1 year Olds birthday. I need to use an electric cart, and thankfully I nabbed the last one. I opened the register on my phone and away I went. First up I passed ladies clothing on one side, and home decorating on the opposite side. Lemme tell ya, Target has nice decorations. Price wise they are reasonable But, I came to purchase gifts. I finally found the baby section hidden near the center of the store. Up and down the aisles, list in hand. I couldn't find anything that was a match. Frankly the section sucked. Far to many empties. Confusing price's. I had to find someone working the area, to price check my items. I did purchase some items that were similar to my list. That being said, this is only ONE Target of many and I won't judge all Targets from one experiance. HOWEVER... The reason for only 2 stars is due to the condition of the woman's rest room. It was NASTY. Toilet paper all over the floor. The stall I walked in to had unflushed pee in the toilet with pee on the seat. The entire sink was wet and so where the floors. In this age of nasty COVID there should be someone who sanitizes the stalls and sink after someone use's it. GET WITH IT TARGET! read more

I used to love coming to this target, but I don't know what's going on lately especially since the renovation the lines are always so long and everything is locked up. It feels like Walmart might as well go to Walmart. At this point I will say that the driver pick up is still the best feature here, it is worth getting store pick up instead of going inside because for some reason the lines are insanely long all the time when I thought target was known for not having long lines and opening up more cash registers if the lines were getting too long. They also changed the self check out to 10 items or less, which is very inconvenient. I went with my nieces and had less than ten items. The kids wanted some candy once we got towards the front which put us over the 10 item limit and once we got to the front, the man said we can't check out here because we have more than 10... I said it's only because they got the candy and he insisted that we still can't check out here. Very annoying. There have been times I went in for one little thing and self checkout was closed and all the lines were so long I ended up just putting it back and leaving. read more

As more cars came out then so did the "staff" this young black kid comes out and helps everyone else. So I call him over because I've been waiting for over 15 min and my baby is screaming. Now you might say I was exaggerating, however I was picking up the order for my sister so I called her when I got there so she can check in. Frankie went out of his way to help me find the exact product I wanted. It's tough to get 5 stars from me for this exact Target store (past experiences over last 3yrs have not been favorable at all). Frankie changed my opinion in just one visit. Now I hope management and staff congratulate him because his attitude and helpfulness is exactly what you guys need in your store. ****FOR THE OPTICAL DEPARTMENT **** I had been trying to get some prescription sunglasses that I lost replaced. I called and spoke to Patricia P (Trish), and she scheduled me an appointment. The section that handles Tri-Care (the physician's assistant) was very short with me when she called back, stating that I needed a physical medical ID card, which I did not have, so I ended up having to cancel my appointment. I called back a few weeks later and spoke to Trish. She listened to my concerns and offered to follow up with the doctor/assistant to find out what a customer with Tri-Care would need and that she would call me back, but it might take a couple of days. Surely enough, she called me back. I forgot she was supposed to call me back, but she had not! The level of AMAZING customer service I received from Trish was the absolute best. She went well above and beyond her job for me, and I am grateful!!! I have not attempted to make another appointment because of the different sections inside of target optical who handle the insurance. I would have never had to call back if Amanda would have explained to me why my insurance could not have been run by verbally giving them info needed along with providing my military ID. Instead of being quick to get me off the phone. I just wanted to leave this review about Trish and how even though I still have yet to replace my prescription sunglasses... It does not even matter. She is one of the representatives whom I will never forget because if this is her natural personality...She deserves all the praise in the world. We are in a pandemic with our stressor in life, yet she puts customer service at the forefront, and I am beyond speechless, impressed, and again grateful she followed up with me. read more

I've never been to a Super Target in my life, but have been wanting to go, so I found out that this location is the closest to me. For a Sunday afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't more crowded. It's quite a lot larger than the regular Targets and I wish I had a Super Target much closer to me. It's got the size of a nice grocery store within it. Surprisingly, there was one item I was looking for that they didn't have...this type of BIC writing pens, so that was a tad disappointing, but they could have just been out of stock. Overall, I love it! I don't know how often I'll come here, but maybe once every several months. read more

I often use drive up at this location and always have a good experience. They are quick and never miss an item. I do hope that Target puts some canopies out for their staff. I love this Super Target location. It is always clean and the associates are always kind and willing to help. I'm picky when it comes to Target because I've had quite a few bad experiences when it come to their food. On 4 different occasions I've had the unfortunate experience of purchasing expired food from a target location in Hemet. Now I religiously check the expiration date. I didn't think I would have the same problem at this Target. I was browsing the granola and nutritions bars when I found one I liked. When I checked the date they were already expired. I then checked the other ones on the shelf and about half of them were expired! My girlfriend and I searched for an associate in the food area to notify them but there was no one in sight. I am so disappointed in Target. My girlfriend and I use their cartwheel app when purchasing groceries here but I guess we will just have to start shopping somewhere else for them. read more

Horrible customer service. Came in to return an item that was purchased through drive up. An employee named ASH took one look at my target app receipt and told me she couldn't do the return. Which makes zero sense. It's a target receipt. On the target app. For my target return. ‍ I explained this to her multiple times only for her to raise her voice and yell at me. At this point I gave up and went to a different employee. He seemed like he was new as he kept asking her what to do. She told him he couldn't process the return and than she told him the wrong steps to try and find the receipt in the system. I was confused as I have used the app to make returns at countless other targets. Finally I was able to convince her to call a manager. The manager OLIVIA came over and processed the return with no problem however when I tried to tell her how rude ASH was Ash started arguing with me in front of her that she wasn't being rude before growling (I wish I made this up but she actually growled) and stomped off to the back. When I asked the manager OLIVIA of there was a problem with the receipt she just gave me a look and told me I was done and to leave. At this point both OLIVIA and ASH were rude. I asked if I could get an apology from ASH and she refused to acknowledge that the employee had done anything wrong at all. Absolutely ridiculous that I couldn't make a simple return and had to deal with two rude employees one being a manager! Target you need to do better. I love this target. Only problem is guest service never answer there phone. Again I tried to call guest services to pay a compliment to a employee but again they did not answer the phone. So I will leave my compliments on yelp. Tonight my grandaughter & myself went to target about 9:30 and a employee was making sure carts were clean & offered me & my grand daughter santizer. I love Target!! This location is awesome!! Their dollar section is subpar, it's very disorganized and there isn't a wide variety of products like there are at other Targets. Other than that, this Target is just like any other one. They also have a food court where they sell $1 popcorn! *Yum* Employees are generally friendly and helpful. Be sure to bring your own reusable tote bag for 5 cents off!! And sign up for a Target credit/debit card for 5% off all purchases! Today I went to their food court area and was talking to the gentlemen and was telling him how I came Saturday for the popcorn lol and told him that there wasn't anybody and how they probably closed early and he gave me a discount. I've only been to this location one time and this was also the only time that I've ever gone to a Super Target. I never even knew there was such a thing as a Super Target. I guess what makes a Super Target "super" is that they also sell some groceries as well. They have all of your typical clothing, snacks, jewelry and so on, but also fresh produce and what not. This location is also very large. We had to walk from one side of the store all the way to the other side just to get the one item that we were looking for. The other thing that I really like about this location is that they have a pretty nice Starbucks located on the inside. The location is also very clean and they had at least 7-8 registers open so the lines weren't too long. Overall, I thought the Super Target was very nice. In mid-July I cruised through the 60 Freeway only to see a sign for a SUPER TARGET. Originally my suspicions aimed toward a Target store that was beneath Target's own standards. I basically assumed it was going to be a warehouse of Target items that didn't sell at their stores. This, of course, wouldn't be a bad idea and I was convinced that this would be the Super Target I thought it would be. Still, I intended to be there the opening weekend of July 28th. And I attended... WOW! Really?!? Super Target?!? Think of it at a combination of Target and a traditional grocery store at Target prices. I was blown away. You have your meats, produce, and vegetables on located in one location of the store. On top of that, *tear*, Jelly Belly candy dispensers. MMmmmm...jelly bellies... Truly, if Target plans on incorporating grocery stores into all their Target locations then, by all means, do it! The next day I attended my nephew's Hapkido demonstration at the opening of SUPER TARGET in APPLE VALLEY. There were SAMPLES! SAMPLE steaks, sample fruit, sample trail mixes. The pharmacy even gave out sample goodies bags which, I don't know why, but my mom handed me the KY Jelly sample because she said she doesn't use it. Uhmmm... Anyway, if you have the chance to visit a SUPER TARGET take advantage of their samples on Opening Day. Of course, thank Target's marketing department for even making their grocery section and their products very pleasing to the eye. Moreno Valley's Super Target is a lot more welcoming than Apple Valley's Super Target and plenty of parking is available at both locations. If you're going to go to the Moreno Valley Super Target off the 60 Freeway, take the exit before Moreno Beach, otherwise, you'll drive right past it...or take the streets to Eucalyptus.
