I went into Living Spaces to purchase a couch and was helped by Jacob. He was friendly and told me that if I needed to make any changes after placing the order, it wouldn't be a problem. He specifically said they usually waive any restocking fee when the change is for store credit. Later, I decided to make a very small change to my order. Before moving forward, I asked him point-blank, "Will this cost me anything?" His response was, "No, my friend." Imagine my surprise when I was later charged a $500 restocking fee. When I asked what the charge was for, I was simply told it was "company policy." Had I been told there would be a $500 fee, I never would have approved the change. To make matters worse, we spoke with the store manager hoping to resolve the issue, but she was incredibly rude and dismissive. There was no effort to understand what happened or make things right. We left feeling completely unheard and taken advantage of. This was, without question, the worst customer service my husband and I have ever experienced. We trusted what we were told by the salesperson, and that trust was broken. Based on this experience, we would never shop at Living Spaces again, and we certainly can't recommend them to anyone else. read more

I took my elderly mother twice first time ordered a sofa clearly communicated our and it was wrong! Called them back to a number that goes straight to a call center, and they were very rude. Even with all that said my Mom still went up there and liked a table and prices so ordered again expressed how they got our order wrong the last time the sales lady was like. If anything goes wrong here is my name call me, because YES! Order was wrong again. Now I have to drive there because there is no more to this place only call center and I'm not gonna subject myself to that again. Basically no service to speak of. Walked and talked to somebody behind a desk that didn't bother getting up. They just pointed me in the direction of then the other employee was busy with somebody and apparently I have to order in the next hour if I wanna get it delivered tomorrow They have a decent selection, but they shouldn't call this an outlet. There is only one thing that was even slightly clearance to mark down. That's because somebody's feet were all over it and it was dirty and gross. I was really hoping for more cause. Besides the fact that the delivery guys dropped off our big couch FULLY MADE at the top stairs of our apartment. It was SOOO difficult to get it into our apartment. We asked the delivery guys for help, even offered to pay them and they were super rude about it and left. The lady that helped us buy our couch said it was going to arrive in boxes, not FULLY MADE. My door was damaged upon delivery. I provided proof and they refuse to fix my door. I DO NOT recommend Living Spaces. Also read the fine print don't believe what the sales person or manager says. Record it with your phone and record your delivery as well. I've reached out to customer service on numerous occasions showing proof of damage. They just refuse to accept fault. customer service is horrible all I get is emails saying unfortunately we did not damage your door ( your case is closed). This location is much bigger than I expected! They have a great selection of furniture and the customer service was excellent. The prices were very reasonable because The furniture sold here is a more affordable line of living spaces items. We ended up not purchasing from this location because the couch we liked was too small so we went to the Living Spaces in Menifee and purchased an item from that location. read more

If I can give this place a negative number, that's what this place deserves. Even the sales person Jaymie, started with just lies. We have been waiting patiently for a month for our couches. No one inform us that our couch was no longer available. Until we decided to call their office. No courtesy call or anything to inform us about it. Complete dysfunction with delivery I was sent an email to both couches were being delivered by a certain date. Then I was told that was an error. They didn't have my couches then they told me they had one Couch and said it for delivery and that delivery notice it showed both couches when I called to confirm they said only one couch has been delivered, and even though my second Couch is already in the warehouse. They cannot set a delivery, because one is already been delivered in the system calls back supervisor to handle these issues. I would give Living Spaces ZERO stars if I could. My husband and I purchased a dining table set, a couch, and loveseat at the Living Spaces Factory outlet back in August 27th, 2023. The delivery was scheduled prior upon purchasing for Sunday 8-27-23, however, upon the scheduled delivery day, I received a few missed phone calls and voicemails as well as text messages early as 9am, regarding an issue with our delivery from your warehouse. I returned the missed call and spoke to one of many reps, possibly one from the warehouse and customer service agents (that are outsourced from South America) and it was a horrible experience. They stated that the delivery truck broke down and the scheduled ETA will need to be changed, which was originally from 12pm to 2pm to now 2pm-4pm. I was a little disappointed because our schedules now had to be adjusted to accommodate the delay for the delivery. I said ok for the 2pm-4pm change to ETA and had to change our family plans because someone had to be home for the delivery. Another hour or two passed by, and I received another call about my delivery ETA, and now, they stated that the ETA will need to be changed again between 3pm to 5pm. I informed the customer service reps that I understand the issue, however, this is not acceptable and terrible service. I requested to speak to a manager and from their feedback, stated that it's a Sunday, and you'll need to follow up tomorrow (Monday) if I'm requesting to speak to management. They also informed me of this because they are not in the USA. Not knowing of this outsource customer service line, they placed notes on my account to have someone call me or email from Living Spaces and or drive to my nearest location. The next (Monday), the family and I drove to a nearby Living Spaces in Las Vegas, NV, where we now reside, but unfortunately, that customer service rep inside the store informed me that he couldn't help me because we purchased the items through a different location (an outlet as well) and that I would need to go to that location to follow up with my issues, but he also provided me with an email who I can contact (a generic email for Living Spaces). With this feedback, I'm now upset, especially driving and wasting my time and gas to not have my issue resolved or at the least someone to actually help me. I, then again called the 1-800 number and spoke to one of your outsourced agents and I provided my negative feedback and they stated they'll place a note for the branch at Perris to contact me. A lady named Anna Cardenas who is the Operations Supervisor for that branch contacted me via email but also called me. We both spoke over the phone around 8-31-23 and went pretty well with her at that time of the call. Anna tried her best to provide her best service, which was better than anyone else I spoke to within Living Spaces. She informed me that she'll reach out to her senior leadership and relay the issues I had and see if they can work something out for me for my time and gas and the mishaps. I emailed Anna again to follow up, possibly a week or two (9-13-23) after our conversation and she replied back stating that she will follow up. Nothing or no updates and I ended up emailing again to follow up on 9-20-23 and Anna replied by stating she has not heard anything back but if any updates, they (senior leadership?) will send something to your email. Nothing has been sent or any updates and nothing has happened since. I waited for months until I ended up emailing Anna again last week 1-3-24 to reiterate to her that I appreciate her helping but haven't heard anything for months now and looking for some updates or answers and I feel now that I'm just being ghosted. Either the senior leadership is ignoring my complaint or the message has not gotten to them. I strongly feel that the service after purchasing an expensive dollar amount from your company is now horrible, The service is there when you're looking or searching and will go above and beyond before purchasing but it seems like once the customer has already purchased items, the lack of service or gratitude is not there and this seems like either from the bottom employees and at the top of your employees, meaning senior leaders (supervisors, managers, directors, VP's, Presidents, etc.) I hope I'm wrong but no one from the higher ups has done anything. The yelp reviews have also shown negative remarks about the customer service and delivery service and I guess I'm not surprised. I'm really hoping someone decides and takes an initiative to at least compensate me for my loss from the multiple rescheduled ETA's, my time, and my gas for going to my nearest Living Spaces and no help was resolved. read more

After 2 plus years of looking for a new couch, I will now have one before Thanksgiving thanks to their top notch assistance! They knew I lived out of town (about 90 miles away) and they went over and beyond to assist me so I could get what I wanted (a very coveted item, that continues to sell out) and to not have to return to the store (I needed to go home and measure before purchasing the couch). Don't Buy "Care Free Warranty" it's a scam. I hate to do this but we purchased a couch from living spaces along with the care free service plan. We had a legit claim on the sofa because one of the seams had separated and I reported it a few days after it happened. In the claim I was trying to help them understand that the cushion may have been fabricated incorrectly because there is a seam on top of the cushion that is not a typical spot for a seam, and it had a lot of stress everytime we used that section of couch. Long story short the seam separated and we tried to just get the cushion cover replaced and they still denied it. Sad to say we did not get the cover replaced and the customer service was terrible. I am being jerked around by their claims department due to two pieces of furniture that were either broken in shipment or had a paint defect. It appears that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I've been passed around to so many reps to handle my issues and each one asks for the exact same information, so I essentially have to restart the process over. I ordered furniture in early June and have yet to receive the two chairs, nor any follow up related to the shipping or further delays (I was told It would be shipped in July, Nothing since...). I was told there is no real Outlet. I have so many issues with shipments, returns and emails that do not make sense. I will NEVER buy anything from Living Spaces EVER. You can not speak to the store where you purchased your furniture, corporate customer service for all their location, no wonder you have to wait so long to speak to someone. The shortest wait time for CS I've had to wait was 47 minutes. The Chat is even a bigger joke, can't even begin to say what I've been through with them. I found the perfect L shaped sofa chaise I was looking for and for a discounted price! It fit perfect in my small apartment and only payed $509! I think the price at the regular Living Spaces is $1300. The furniture with the "Sold As Is" items are the deals. They are items that people who ordered at a regular Living Spaces canceled. The only downfall with the those items is they don't deliver and they are the same item on the sales floor. They do however help you load it on your truck if you have one. They only deliver items that are not discounted with the "sold as is" signs, but they do charge a fee for delivery and additional fee for assembly. I also bought my mom a dinner table here. We purchased a Dinning table, we were promised next day delivery. As time starts going by on delivery day I make a phone call because no text or email was sent for scheduled delivery! They informed me delivery was cancelled due to bad weather" keep in mind we live maybe 8 miles away from warehouse (where they assured me they had item in stock there) there was no bad weather. No one bothered to call and inform me until I called! Then I talk to customer service rep Frances. She was so rude and said nothing can be done. She could care less! Even a worker here said it's only called an outlet because it happens to be located within their distribution center (which still didn't justify being called an outlet). Prices are no different than their regular non-outlet locations. There are a few marked down as-is pieces but even these prices weren't discounted enough for me. Sales team is amazing, Climate in the warehouse Unbearable. First of all the sales team here's excellent. Very helpful, no pressure and ready to answer questions without the need to have to hunt someone down. We bought the couch we wanted it was quick and easy. But damn this place was hot. The showroom is huge but completely without any AC. Fans don't help much and easily a few degrees warmer than the outside ambient temperature. We were only there for 30 minutes and could barely stand it. Cannot imagine how the workers deal with it for a full shift. Come on living spaces. Take care of your people and get them some AC so they don't have to work in such brutal conditions. read more

This new location which doubles as the distribution center, is in a newly built industrial park right off the 215. The staff was very friendly, and helped us find what we were looking for both in-store, and online. I have purchased sectionals, chairs, and beds from living spaces in the past and they have always held up well. We bought a sectional from the Perris outlet months ago. The couch is great. However we have discovered the set up was crap. Here we are today having to reinstall. Half of the couch was not bolted together the bolts were there near where they go just laying on the floor. I've came here a few times and have been helped by Ashley, who is always the best. Always provides us with the best service and remains professional. Today (6/26/21) I came to buy an office chair and was helped by another employee. My Synchrony card was giving me issues so she called another employee over to assist us, this employee told her that she needed to contact Synchrony and that it was going to be a process. She rolled her eyes and gave a big "ughhhh" and was visibly annoyed that she had to do her job. It was really unprofessional and rude. The whole "process" ended up being less than 10 minutes. If your employees have a problem with basic customer assistance then you should consider other positions for them or ask if these tasks will be a problem upon interviewing.
