This Target location is my go-to Target on the East Side. The store is centrally located in Mayfield Heights. It offers a much more pleasant experience than Target stores in South Euclid and Willoughby. In fact, I drive out of my way to visit this specific store. Fall Finds: Target is all stocked up for fall with "sweater" cozy pumpkins, cute ghost mugs, wicker pumpkin trays, bronze looking mushrooms, and more. I had to run away from the discount area where these items were located to avoid buying all the stuff I don't need. Most of the items were priced between $3 and $5. Store Appearance/Stock: This store is well organized and clean. The women's clothing area sometimes runs low on inventory. It's true for any Target stores lately. Order pickups: While I love to wander at Target, time often doesn't allow me to. I place a lot of in-store pickup orders here. Usually for clothing or personal care items. My last order was for tennis balls (for physical therapy) and summer dress. The items are always found (even when low stock) and orders quickly available. The transactions for pickups are considerably more efficient than other Target locations. Service: This store has the most pleasant service out of all East Side Targets. Employees inquire if you need help and are very polite. I enjoy my interactions here. Good service extends into Target Starbucks cafe. Parking: Plenty of parking specifically for Target and in the plaza. Watch out for speed bumps in certain crosswalk areas of the plaza. Overall, I'd recommend this location. It's suitable for a quick shopping trip. Convenient for shopping, pick-ups, and returns. Lately, I have noticed reduced foot traffic which I personally love for speedy shopping trips. Another convenient thing is that there are several other grocery and clothing retailers in the plaza which makes for a more efficient multi-store visit. read more

I would give this store zero stars if I could. This Target has the worst customer service department of any store I have ever visited in my entire life. Today was the last straw-- I will never go back. One employee at the customer service checkout was especially mean, condescending, and truly unhelpful. A bully like her should not be working in a customer service role. Save your time and sanity and visit a different store. read more

Not feeling the love for this Target. It takes me 20 minutes to get there. Went today for paper towels, Woolite (26 usage jug), Downey (40oz), and a 9"x9" metal baking pan. Found the towels, didn't find the rest of the stuff. Instead, I found jumbo jugs of the detergent and the fabric softener, and nothing but 9x13 pans from no namo makers. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was trying to orgainise a fire alarm service which I am obligated to schedule at Targets own request - They refused to let me speak with a GM - Then they proceeded to put me on hold multiple times after trying again. I have never heard of a company that puts themselves at a greater risk of danger. I am appalled at their lack of urgency. Requesting termination of current service desk employees. read more

This particular Target is very clean, bright, well stocked, has a little grocery store, a little food court and a Starbucks, what is there NOT to love? I can buy a video game, Starbucks and a loaf of bread in the same place. LOVE. Aside from that, the lines always go quickly with efficient and friendly workers. And NO SELF CHECK OUT! I hate those as it usually gives the store an excuse to only hire like 2 people for the entire store. People wonder why everyone is flocking to buying stuff online. "Keep people employed," they say. Well, I try. But this exact target right here is the reason why we shop online. Case in point: purchased many many items I didn't need, thank you, Target and got to the register to check out. These nice leggings were in the rack, several pairs with all different sizes, nicely placed behind a price tag of $11.99. The next item in question is a felt basket for storage. Again, several of them on a shelf neatly placed above a price tag that reads, $9.00. Looks like it's worth about that. After checking out with someone uninterested in her job (or who's not having the best day...I'm not to judge), I thought $188 for the items I bought was a bit high. She had already started checking out the person behind me, so there's that. I looked at my receipt and to my aggravated horror, the leggings were $30 and the basket was $20. So at this point I've gotten my 10k steps in during my perusing of the store but now I have to wait in line at customer service to get a refund. The woman did not appear to be interested in my annoyance, and did nothing to even offer to make it right. On a side note, I was at Walmart today and my raspberries rang up $2 more than they were on the shelf and the guy offered to put in the price they were marked. Huh, nice. So the next time you wonder why we do self check out, order online or do Door Dash, it's because most everywhere these days sucks. read more

I've been going for years because it's on the way for me, but this is NOT a good Target. Lanes are consistently understaffed and gridlocked, registers break down constantly, desk staff is needlessly belligerent, shelves are a chaotic mess of open packages and mis-filed items, my credit card info was stolen here... and MANY items ring up higher than marked on the shelf. And when the problem is reported, they promise to fix it and then weeks later the same error is still present. Always in their favor... hmmmm, funny how that works. It's intentional scamming, because it has gone on for years--which means even if some shocking and pervasive incompetence contributes to the overcharges, that incompetence is knowingly TOLERATED. Other Targets don't do this. It's possible to price accurately. But they must know they make a better profit margin with false sale tags. I estimate about 10% of items marked on sale don't ring up on sale. Be warned. read more

went into mayfield target to look at iPads. went back to electronics and the employee for electronics was putting up signage for video games. When I asked about iPads he responded that they were in the back and he continued to work on the signage. he then asked, can I show you one and I said yes. what did he do? he continued to work on his video games signage while I stood there! I finally left because it was very obvious that he was not going to help me. Shouldn't an employee at least get what you are asking about especially if they are not on display. read more

With regards to this location, Target gets a 3.5 stars. I've recently been a little PO'd because I really don't like shopping at Walmart. Sometimes its because of the lack of in-store stock at Target, I am forced to get select items at Wally World. Some items in question are baby furniture, baby clothes (Carters - Sale items), camping gear, certain electronics, and the list goes on. I would also like to second Kevin's review that the place is a mess. I was just in there yesterday and there was merchandise everywhere and I watched employees walk right by stuff on the floor without picking it up. I'm going to still shop at Target instead of WM but I don't always have to like it....ha..ha. On a high note though, it is a Target and along with that are the people that shop there. If you compare to those that shop at Walmart, I think that shopping choice is easy. I'm talking about the people that hit Walmart like every day for those early bird sales wearing the most obnoxious things. I guess it makes for good people watching though. read more

I purchased a $350 bike. After one month of riding it fell apart while my 16 year old was riding across the street. One manager told me to bring it back, when I took it back, he didn't work there anymore. They would not exchange the bike. The manager walked away and left me wit associates who gave me one number after the next that all went to a call center where English was not the first language. They bounced me back and forth for 2 weeks with no resolution. They finally told me to call Scwinn. I called them and they said Target put the bike together wrong and the warranty doesn't cover assembly errors and sent me back to Target. When I called Target back, they did nothing about the bike, but became very interested in my son's injuries sustained when the back wheel came off in the middle of traffic. They wanted a report on his injuries. It was clear they were more interested in a possible lawsuit, but not concerned enough to replace the bike. Done with Target forever. read more

This location really creases me. They need a separate line for returns and/or online order pickups. They never have enough checkout lines open to handle the customer demand. Store experiences like these remind me why I order everything online and have it shipped to my house. I recently ordered a pair of pajamas on the Target web site for in-store pickup. I got it home only to discover I received two different sizes for the shirt and pants. So I had to go back in the store to return them, and while I was there, of course their system was down. Technology and Target do not coexist. What a pain in the ass. Even Wal-Mart has self-checkout. Get on board, Target. Thank god for Amazon.com is all I can say... read more

I wish I could leave a positive review for this store. It began with the very neglected ladies room. Wet floors and toilet seats, paper on the floor, and a lack of paper towels. It goes beyond the restroom, though. Much of the store was messy, and in general disarray. A trigger bottle of cleaning solution was left on a shelf in the grocery department. A cart meant for moving freight was left in the middle of an aisle in housewares, with an empty box on it. This was in the way of customers. This was not like any other Target I've been to. We purchased the few items that we'd gone to the store for, and the cashier was very nice. She was the best part of my visit to this store. read more

Management at this location must go out of their way and deliberately hire the rudest, most obnoxiously people in NE Ohio. The females working the cashiers and customer service counter, in particular, are nasty, angry people that simply can't think about anything or anyone but themselves. The best target around! I am a bit of a target addict. I never shop anywhere else. This target is bright and always clean. They make sure that if the lines get too long to call extra people to help at the registers. This location also has a Starbucks which is great. The check out people are always so helpful and friendly. But don't hold off buying something seasonal thinking you can come back later. This place Sells through quickly. read more

The middle aged women at the cafe was very rude because I asked her for an item to be bagged after she rang me up. I had only 3 items and at the cafe the max they can ring up is 5 so I was below the limit and she still had a rude remark after asking her to bag a laundry detergent when I did not carry my items in a cart and needed everything to be bagged so that I can get into my car with an extra free hand. Those laundry detergents can get pretty heavy and she dared to say "You're kidding me, it has a handle" like I was insane for asking for it to be bagged. In my opinion, if you're not happy with your job then just leave. read more

Apparently, this store is a shoplifter's paradise. I went in to purchase a couple of items that Target.com said the store had multiple in stock. Got there, looked around for a second and asked the electronics team member (who's helpfulness kept this from a 1 star review) to check the item number for me. Their system showed that the items were in stock, but the employee stated he remembered them getting stolen about a month ago. How poorly does a store have to be run to get multiple smartphones stolen? Why is it a month later and their system still not corrected? We'll probably never find out the answers to those questions, but till then happy shoplifting, you scalliwags! read more

I have been going to the location for a while, less since there is a newer location closer to home. This has convenient parking, is clean, and usually well stocked. Seem larger and with more variety of stock than some locations. Having more groceries is a definite plus. Good choice to shop. read more

Just had a pretty bad experience at this Target. I came in for 3 thing, but they only had 1. Not a big deal, I got the 1 item and went to checkout. When I arrived at the front the lines were long and I ended up in the section that says "customer service/checkout". I was 4th in line and when I got to the register Shawn was rude. He very loudly said "just so you know, checkout is over there (pointing at the other registers). I didn't say anything, I was a bit thrown off, every Target I come to has customer service and checkout together. This one has signs saying it's customer service and checkout. He then looked at the man waiting behind me and loudly said "are you doing a return?" When the man said he needed to checkout Shawn said very loudly again while pointing "checkout is over there". I have a lot of respect for service workers, I am one myself. I was a customer service manager for 5 years and I could never imagine talking to a guest that way. His tone was very sarcastic and annoyed. This Target definitely left a bad impression on me. read more
