Target, in general, has gone downhill. Their items are overpriced and their efforts to squash DEI initiatives clearly didn't go over well for them. This negative review is really for customer service associate, Rose. This was my second time here in 2 months experiencing her terrible customer service. On the first occasion at the self check out, I had a faulty soap pump and soap spilled. She treated this as an inconvenience to her and didn't bother to offer to get a new one or express any care for her customers experience at all. Yesterday when I stopped in, she had the same attitude regarding confusing signage when I was trying to understand why items in front of clearance signs were not actually on clearance. I have the target delivery service that I paid for for a year. The one where they're supposed to drop it off to you within a certain time frame.. according to target whenever somebody scans the merchandise and does not deliver it to you and steals it they do not refund you your stolen merchandise. I was told by their representative that they wanted to set the expectations that I have to eat the cost whenever something's not given to me. The person that they had picking my order and dropping off, stole two boxes of cereal. It was scanned at the register and never dropped off at my house. That is insane that this target has these contracting people to pick orders and drop them off and allow them to steal from their customers who paid for this and the product . I can't believe that target supports theft of their clients. I will never use your delivery service nor will I ever tell anybody that they should in fact, I will always tell everybody not to waste their money on it because target supports the theft of items from their customers. In fact, they promote it. While you are told you have to eat the cost. I told the woman on the phone that if she doesn't give me my money back, I'll be reporting her to consumers affairs the Better Business Bureau, and whoever else that I can report them to. Then all the sudden and she could refund me my money. We'll see if it pops up on my target card because they told me it could take several days to show up, but I did get a confirmation number. So just be aware that this location allows people to pick your orders and steal from you while telling you you can't have your money back for items you didn't receive. read more

I had a really upsetting experience at Target recently. I bought a $6 camera protector, and when I realized the security tag was still on, I went back to the store for help. An older white woman, whose entire job is to stand at and monitor self-checkout, told me to dig through the trash to for my receipt literally told me to "go retrieve it," like a dog. It was beyond disrespectful and completely dehumanizing. She could've easily looked up the purchase history in the system I had just bought it, and it was a small, inexpensive item. Instead, she chose to embarrass me and treat me like I didn't matter. I would never speak to a guest the way she spoke to me. If your job is to watch self-checkout and assist customers, treating people with basic respect should be the bare minimum. Target, this was unacceptable. I love target and always end up buying way more than I go in for. Target has great value for their items and I love their $5 section for decorations for every holiday. This store doesn't have as wide of the inventory that other targets in the area have. A lot of times when I do the curbside pickups, they have to end up substituting items because they are always running low of items. The curbside pickup wait times are longer than other targets as well. The only thing they need to work on is the curbside pickups and restocking products. Overall the store is clean, the employees are nice, and they have great product. read more

I was disappointed that Covid precautions are already starting to be over looked. Multiple Staff members were wearing a face mask below the nose or on their chin. Many shoppers walking around with their entire family without masks. Teenagers also walking around with masks on their chin or hanging off one ear. Nobody was disinfecting carts as they were before, cart wipes unavailable, and the store was packed like it usually is during a busy Christmas shopping day. It makes it difficult to safely shop when everyone is letting their guard down soo soon. read more

This target was recently redone and the new layout and design are really nice! The location is convenient for me to go on my lunch hour at work but honestly I'll go out of my way to come here on weekends instead of the Cherry Hill location. The parking lot is spacious and you can park far out if you don't feel like dealing with a mess of people parking closer to the store. They have free wifi for target guests which I just found out today. The store used to be a dead zone for me but now I'm able to actually use my Cartwheel app while shopping! read more

This used to be my fave Target. Not so much anymore. It's the oldest Target in south jersey. It's been around since 1998. I know it's practically ancient! AARP card in the mail soon. However, the age is showing. They did revamp and add a grocery area like most, but I wish they would have added a starbucks. They really should cause then I can get a latte before a movie! Their is a starbucks nearby...fear not, but I love starbucks before or after a Target exhibition! read more

I returned an item and never received a refund (even 8 days later). Audry, Mason, and their supervisor John made sure to track down what happened and completed the transaction with the utmost professionalism. I recommend this store for top tier customer service and the story is always clean. I now shop here instead of doing it online because that seems to be where the mix up for my return happened. read more

This place is awesome. The RedCard is so helpful because you save 5% with every purchase and I'm here at least once a week. The store is kept clean and the associates/cashiers are very friendly. Whenever I bring my kids in, they are given stickers which is always a nice gesture. Keep up the great work! read more

Who hasn't been to Target? I doubt there is anyone who has not. I was thrilled when they opened this Target in town as I used to go to the one in Voorhees. This is now about a 5 minute drive for me....which is a problem. I try to stay away but since it's close I will go there "just to pick up a couple of things" but that never happens! I always end up with a full cart and spending at least $200. They recently opened up an entire section of the store that is a grocery section so not only can I spend $200 on little stuff for the house, etc. but another $200 on groceries...thank god I'm only off one day a week! I can say every checkout person and every person who works there has been and still is always super friendly and so helpful. Obviously great management behind the scenes. read more

I really have nothing negative to say about this Target location. The store is kept clean, the associates are nice, and everything is organized on the shelves as well. Every so often I wish they had more cashiers opened, but it appears to be a hit or miss. If the lines get backed up, when a cashier does come onboard, it takes them awhile to get set-up. How does one Target differ from another? I'm not sure, but this one stands out amongst all area Targets. Excellent selections in clothing, accessories and shoes. These departments are always organized and well-stocked. Nothing bothers me more than going into a store that looks like it has been picked over. That's never the case in any department at this location. The grocery section is top notch as well and the produce always looks pretty good. If there is a line at any of the registers, it moves quickly. Staff is pretty friendly and efficient. read more

Big fan of Target... cannot go in without spending $100! This location is pretty nice. I work around the corner so we sometimes go here on our lunch break. It's usually not very crowded which is awesome! Can't get away from the screaming children though ;) Lines always move fast. Every cashier I've ever had here is very nice and welcoming! The only way to make a payment online is to enter your full checking/savings account information- they don't allow you to use your debit card. Because I didn't know that for January I tried to make a payment a day or two before it was due and ended up with a $28 late charge. It takes them (Comenity Bank) "24-48 hours to post a payment" per Elizabeth. Don't give them your business unless you use a "user friendly " credit card. 22+% interest rate also. read more

I shop in the Mt. Laurel, NJ store quite often and just want to say that under the circumstances with the threat of this coronavirus, Target is doing a great job. Their employees really are working hard to keep the shelves stocked and everyone there has really stepped up. I don't set foot in a grocery store ever. I buy everything I need here. The prices are great, most of the time you can find what you need and they are doing an excellent job keeping their staff and customers safe. Lately, the produce section has been stellar. Not as good as it once was. Before the remodel, I loved it. It was quiet and peaceful. Items were easy to find: Skillets were with the skillets, bowls with bowls, etc. Fast forward to now, after the remodel. Items are no longer placed based on functionality, but rather by brand. Looking for measuring cups? Have fun hunting because they'll be in more than one location now! Music is playing which I find very distracting! If I decide to listen to music then I'll bring my earbuds and hook them to my phone. It's 2019 after all. We have the ability to play our own songs if we wish. I prefer peace and quiet, but Target no longer will allow peace and quiet. My option to listen or not listen has been taken away. Music is now mandatory for you to listen to while you shop here. Employees are constantly in the way as they restock and organize shelves. It's not their fault. They're just doing what they're told. I get that, but it is so frustrating when I want to browse a shelf that an employee is currently working on. They will let you in to grab what you need, but stare at you until you finish. This happens far too often because there are so many on the floor! Sometimes I just need a full minute to look, but with an employee staring at you, waiting on you, you feel rushed so you let it go. Whatever happened to restocking when it's slow? Or better yet, when customers aren't there (either 2-3 hrs before opening, or after closing sounds reasonable). It's just sad to see Target, my favorite store, go from a quiet and easy to browse place to a layout they makes no sense with music blasting and crowded isles full of employees. read more

I had a problem with a purchase and when I called Target's customer service they gave me a reference number and told me to take it to my local store so the issue could be rectified at the store. The lady at the Marlton store service desk started giving me a hard time. She called the manager, Rob. He was extremely rude. I left the store embarrassed and in tears. I called customer service from the parking lot and as it turned out the original person that I spoke to was incorrect. The whole matter should have been handled over the phone the first time. It was not my fault that the rep had made this mistake. The manager should have treated me like a human being instead of belittling me. read more

Normally I love this particular store as they have the formula my baby uses in sufficient quantities. However, I am extremely unhappy with my experience there today. I had picked up multiple bottles of liquid formula along with other items to purchase. I was informed I could not purchase the number of bottles that I wanted to as there is now a per household per day limit at that particular store. This was new as I had been in within the last 2 weeks and purchased the same. Umber of bottles with no issue and separated my transactions as I wanted again with no issue. I had arranged the overall purchase into a few transactions and was informed I could only do one transaction and couldn't split them up. What!!! What right do they have to dictate how I make my purchases, especially since doing so violated no coupon or store policy and certainly no laws. I left everything there and will shop elsewhere. I had previously good experiences here, but being dictated as to what I could or could not purchase and how is beyond ridiculous. I bet if I wanted to buy soda in the quantity it wouldn't have been an issue. We don't live in a police state or dictatorship the Kat I checked. You offer it for sale. If you want to place restrictions, it should be noted somewhere and reasonable. This was neither. read more

I was so disappointed in the Mananger of this store today . The cashier made a mistake and he would but take ownership if that . She rung food up as Miscellaneous because she couldn't read the #. Instead of calling that department she put in the wrong price ( the price pre pound not the Actual price) in addition I was charged taxes on this item. The Mananger was rude and couldn't do his job. It left such a bad taste in my mouth I don't think I can ever go back there. He Reprimanded me instead of his Employee!!! Wrong thing to do. Absolutely horrible experience. Lois-the manager on duty, had a cocky attitude at customer service when i had to return something. Her employee Lynne at customer service is not much better. I returned a couple boxes and had a receipt, although expired, but stated exactly what I paid for my items..Lynne was going to give me the lowest selling price so I asked for management to which Lois responded. She raised her voice at me and refused ro make an adjustment for a difference of .60! She said I didnt have a receipt when I had my receipt laying on the counter. I asked for the district manager and she gave me.his name, then proceeded to tell me how comfortable she was in her job. Unbelievable. Ill be calling tomorrow. read more

The store is well-maintained and the staff at this Target are really fantastic. They are always really kind and friendly to my son. He fell once and was crying as we were leaving and one of the associates saw what happened and immediately came over with a band-aid. He wasn't bleeding and it was obviously just a case of a tired and cranky toddler. But he loved the attention and she immediately calmed him down.
