This Target and their security are a joke. I went in with my own personal shopping bag because I don't trust those baskets and people are gross. Not only once but twice did I get approached by that security team, accusing me of stealing because I was placing stuff in my bag that literally had NOTHING when I walked in. I told them I had just been in there for 5 minutes and they kept saying I was stealing, WHAT? Never stepping foot in there again. Check your joke of a security team, Target. read more

Please get rid of the solicitors outside. They are blocking entrance into the store and are very annoying.

This is probably one of the best Targets around. They always have different items than other Targets and their prices are lower than others for some reason, maybe necause of the area. Even when Im not shopping Ill take a stroll w my daughter just to get out of the house if its too hot. I always end up gettiing her aittlw something, lol!! I like this Target location. I have stopped here many times in the past. We walked inside here to get some clothes and all sorts of goodies. They also have a grocery area. Lots of security and police location here. So dont even think about shoplifting if you are one of those people. Parking is really big here. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Its just a good location to get your shopping on. read more

I would not recommend this location! Everytime I place a STORE PICK UP ORDER over $200 or more than 3 damn items they take all day or just completely NEVER process the order! If something says it's to be processed in 2 hours it should be! It's damn near been 4+ hours and my store pick up order is not even ready, like what are they even doing? Everything I ordered I needed before morning and did not want to have to look around a store with my kid to get everything I need. Why have the option?? They have done this with food and with clothing! Just take the extra drive and go further out or order further out! This place has gone down hill! read more

I'm so grateful for the management of this Target location. My family was able to get much needed toilet paper and other needs because they are only allowing you to get one at a time. This is how it should me. The world shouldn't be harder for us to live in just because their is an epidemic. Other Targets are allowing people to leave with baskets of tp, hand sanitizer and isopropyl alcohol just so they can resell it on eBay for a large profit... this is illegal by the way. All families should be able to get needed supplies and people should stop hoarding and making profit off of this crises especially since so many people are without work right now. Thank you to the managers at this target for putting a cap on supplies so that we can all have some. read more

This is the worst Target ever. Customer service is horrible. No one is helpful and they have an attitude for no reason. Went to return items and they refused to give me a refund! I went to another Target and I got a full refund, no problem. I'm not sure why they are difficult at this location, but I will never return. I believe the woman I spoke to was named Karen and she had a terrible attitude. read more

** STARBUCKS REVIEW** All praises to Alex and Valerie for making the best drinks I've ever tasted at any Starbucks ( inside of target or out). Not only are the drinks great , but they both give amazing customer service , they even offer to remake the drinks if customers are displeased with drinks made from other baristas. At this point I don't even have to say my order, they both remember it by heart and make it taste great even though I get low calorie ingredients. Alex is so amazing that if you sit at Starbucks long enough, you'll hear customers come and ask for him by name. It's to the point where I won't order if Alex or Valerie aren't in. Great job guys , keep up the good work ! read more

If you're in need of new eyeglasses, DO NOT come to this Target on La Cienega. I purchased my new eyeglasses here in Sept. 2019. In January, 2020 there was a major defect in one of the lenses. I took it back and they were able to send it back to fix the problem. July, 2020 the same defect happened again! The manager at Target's optical, Osvy Rodriguez told me he could not do anything about it. DO NOT WASTE getting eyeglasses here!!!! I wasted my money coming here! read more

Careful when picking up items from online ordering. This store handed me a television that was opened from the bottom. The associate who handed it to me had no idea it was open because they were holding it from the side handles all the while the bottom was in danger of dropping all the contents from the inside. I should have not had accepted the item as it was opened goods. I shopped around after picking up the item and upon check out went to return the item. Although they promised me that I would be able to return or exchange the item anytime. They refused to help me there as it was closing time. Today the next day I cannot go return it because the system needs 24hrs before being able to return or exchange things when you order online. It is hard times for physical stores when I can order something online and have it delivered the next day by a competitor. I try to shop at Local physical stores because I understand the importance of customer service that comes with a local store (even though I am aware target is not the place with the lowest prices). Now I'm questioning that. I'm not going to write off target as a whole, I am just going to pay attention at other retailers. As for my tv although I can have it exchanged for a sealed box. I already installed one from a competitor. read more

Big target, lots of parking, lines are never that long. I go to this target when I'm getting a lot of different stuff.

Sandy was a wonderful assistant. When we had a problem finding one of the products, Sandy immediately helped us!! We also like the fact that this location is considered a "super Target". You can find anything from perishables to heavy equipment. We appreciate your kindness Sandy! read more

Long overdue 5 stars to well deserved location! Couple of years ago during this time of year, I dropped $100 bill accidentally near cash register. I realized that my money was missing as I got to my car and double checked my bag in the parking lot, so I went back and looked around the register where I was. But I couldn't find it..... so honestly I lost hope at that moment and thought someone probably took it. However, I decided to try asking one of the employees if anyone saw a hundred dollar bill as a last attempt before calling it quit ........ but the nice employee told me that they did and is holding it at the customer service department. They even had it logged on a list and gave it back to me since the cashier recognized me. Such nice courteous employees who surprised me with their honesty and kindness! Thank you! Thank you ! You guys made my day on that day! I really like the variety of selections in Target! I enjoyed from start and more ever since! read more

The young man and young lady in the electronics department(don't know their names but both under 5ft and petite) had the crappiest customer service I have ever experienced. It wasn't that they had a nasty attitude per say but they couldn't care any less about me. First I had to steal their attention away from their phones while they were at the counter to ask for service. After that the young man came over for 2 minutes then switched with the girl as it was obvious he wasn't interested while I started asking questions. Then he starts calling the girl back to the counter while she is supposed to be helping me as she was checking other targets for the watch I wanted. He returns to say we don't have it, so I tell him I already know that which is why the girl was looking it up in the first place. Also, when I asked to see both watches that were locked away he only handed me one as if I was going run off somewhere while I'm trying to read the boxes since NONE OF THE WATCHES WERE TURNED ON nor did they have pamphlets for me to do a quick comparison. I felt extremely discriminated against and I held my composure as best as possible. I asked the cashier that ring me up for the name of the young man (Johnathan) in the electronics department and he told me there was 20 something associates in electronics, yet I only saw 3. Two ladies and one man. If you want to be treated poorly, go to this location but if you want a tiny bit of service I'd suggest going to the one in Culver City. read more

Please train your employees to not put their unwashed hands on customer's newborn babies. My child is barely a month old and while my partner and I were discussing toothbrushes. She had the nerve to sneak her hands into our stroller. She also had bedazzled jeweled nails that were super long. Imagine all the germs that can get trapped between those little books and crannies!! She touched our baby's face than his pacifier. Just as much as any person in customer service shouldn't put their hands on customers... this also goes for babies. Especially newborns!!!! Their immune systems are still building and direct contact like that can be deadly. read more

This target has really leveled-up since the renovation. I used to dislike this location very much, but now it might be my favorite location to stop in the area. Staff are generally very friendly and the store layout is so much better than it was. It makes it feel less crowded and hectic but more put together and actually a nice place to be. Might be a weird note, bu the music volume level is very nice too. 10/10! read more

Great deals and it's a little less crazy busy than other Targets in the area. Plenty of parking, which is a plus. Cashiers vary hugely in customer service though. Items have not seemed as well stocked since the recent renovations and staff have unfortunately been increasingly less friendly lately. Overall it's alright to go here read more

You wanna know what's funny? I read a lot of the reviews and I know why people are afraid of going to the so called "Ghetto" Target. It's plain and simple. I just think that a good majority of people are afraid of Blacks and Latinos who live and shop in this area..... It's really that simple. Therefore, they would rather go to the one on Jefferson or the new on in the old Fox hills Mall. Though, let Dr. J try to de-bunk why people think this Target is so "Ghetto".......... 1. Is it because there is a Police officer/rent a cop at this location? 2. Is it because there is a Mcdonalds conveniently located next to this location? 3. Is it because there are people who might ask you for a ride or some change? 4. Is it because people don't know how to drive on La Ceinega? Hmm......... NAH....... That can't be why people think this Target is Ghetto......... I think ultimately people are just afraid of the people in this area. I don't know why. I think they are super scared....... But for what? *This Target is like any other Target. For all the babies who complain or don't want to go to this target. Man up and browse the aisles...... It's really not that bad. The only reason why I go to the one on Jefferson more is because that has a Subway in the same parkin' lot. Move the Subway over and I'll be there way more often. read more

Eye Care Optical Department I had a very good experience at the Optical Eye Care Department. Love target but checking out is usually a nightmare. They don't have enough workers covering the register and since that's very important to me (to get in and out), I will give them a 1 star. I would say 90% of the time the lines are busy and not enough registers are open Including the self check out line. Otherwise friendly and helpful staffs. I just keep coming back because of the convenience as it's close to my work and on the way home and has the products I need. read more

i have a love hate relationship with Target. I love to shop there, but i hate that I go in for a razor or a balloon and end up spending between $200-300 dollars in the dollar bin. I mean that is some serious junk I buy! This Target is the closest one to me, but is DEEP. It's dirty and busy but i still go here often. I have had nice interactions with the cashiers here. Even one that had previously been rude to me... here's a hint, SMILE.... it does go a long way. I have found that checkers, here or at a grocery store, stand there deal with our complaining or being on the cell phone at check out constantly. These checkers see so many more people than other stores... they love it when a customer is pleasant and smiles and maybe even engages with them! ummm duh. isn't that how everyone would like to be treated, as if they matter?! Parking is pretty easy here. There are plenty of fast food options around this area too for an after Target snack, if you want that. Me, I'll just go home and have some veggies. read more

Order online, decided to walkin instead having the employee bring it to the car, Which was a bad idea. Horrible service at order pick up desk The youngish latino girl, had a bad attitude when i asked her a question. She was too busy trying flirt with the other order runner, and pretend like she was "big stuff." If her silly self would have acknowledged me while waiting patiently in line, I would not have stepped up to ask a question, common sense right? Apparently common sense is not so common. If you dont like your job thats your fault. Silly heffa. Staff needs to be retrained and/or fired. The way she answered me was completely disrespectful and the way she did it lets me know that she does it often. read more

Mariam is the worst. Point blank. I ignored her sarcasm, giggling, and her lying to my face, and hanging up on me on a separate occasion, but I'm here to let her and Target know that it did not go unnoticed -_-. I don't appreciate being treated like an idiot. I am very chill and have a huge sense of humor and a ton of patience, but Mariam is just childish. Have some respect and take your job seriously. I'm not amused. For some reason I can't avoid this employee. Never coming back. Update: Also...why are all of the 1 star reviews "Not recommended?" I just read them and they sound very accurate... read more

If I can get this Target to shut down I would. My family was a victim of fraud at this store and the manager did absolutely nothing in his power to try and help. We swiped a 500$ gift card and it was declined multiple time (which was strange because before our purchase we called customer service on the gift card to make sure of the funds available) It was obvious that the manager assumed as if we were trying to lie about the funds available on the card but weren't and we have proof ! There is absolutely no doubt that there's some time of scam going on at this store and the employees are getting away with it . DONT EVER GO TO THIS TARGET AGAIN ! read more

Shopping in this Target made me seriously question if there was a natural disaster that occurred within this building only. Items in total disarray + attitude-ish, unhelpful employees. This Target needs a lot of work. Pros: Better parking than the other nearby Targets. Cons: Employees that act like you are disturbing them by asking for assistance or checking out. Several racks of items were totally empty or completely messed up (see photos). No alcohol sold at this location. I recommend trying the Target on Jefferson in Culver City instead. The parking there is more of a pain sometimes, but it's worth it for the significantly better shopping experience and availability of items. read more

Is it just me or does Target play music (terrible music no one wants to hear anymore) obnoxiously loud ever since they "remodeled" a few months ago? Honestly, all of the changes that have been made to Target over the last few months have made the store MESSY, unorganized and the racks are always SUPER full. Which isn't appealing. It's like you either aren't selling anything or your employees are too lazy to put anything back so they pile up all the similar items on one tiny rack. ALSO, the line for the Target fast food/popcorn section is always SO long. They only ever have one person there taking orders, making the pizza and serving the customers which makes for really hungry, angry people. Same goes for Starbucks. I mean, the employees behind the counter are nice, it's not their fault that they are short staff but this seems to be the case everything time I come in. It's not all negative here though. I do like that there is always parking. I do enjoy that the employees that I have encountered are friendly and I appreciate Target's reasonable prices. Super random but is anyone else disappointed with this year's Halloween selection? Either they are bringing things out SUPER slowly yhis year or they've been doing a terrible job of keeping things neat and tidy but this Target could use a little cleaning up. read more

Why don't you have comet? I never will understand if you know from past practice you run out of comet every week, why not have the buyer readjust? Is there something I am missing in regards to supply and demand? And with sales it's the same thing. You know you are going to put the item on sale, so prepare yourself for what is going to come of the sales frenzy. The parking you have to fight in. Not finding a space without a car, but to find a space that is not occupied as a shopping cart graveyard. Either there are too many baskets or just not enough people collecting them. When I walk inside there is always a great selection of baskets, but just as many are outside occupying parking spaces. And lastly why are the Starbucks employees always so unhappy? They do not live up to the Starbucks standards. It's okay because it saves me money. I don't like the service, so I don't get a drink. read more

Every time I go to this Target I always feel like it's disorganized and I always see employees walking around on their cell phones. There are few employees that are actually working or helping out customers. When I ask for help, the employees always look at me as if I have interrupted something very important in their conversation with another employee or on their phone. (Not all employees are like this but 85-90% are.) They look like they have a large selection of items, however, majority of their items are repeated. The produce section is small but their frozen food section is very much the opposite. The lines are always long no matter the time or day that you go. Their optical section is just as bad and the customer service is atrocious but I'll write a review on that later. I have not been to their pharmacy. However, if it's like the rest of the store, I don't have any plans on getting my medication from them any time soon. Over all this particular Target I'm not a fan of. read more

3-Star Review: After calling the other Target and asking if I would have any issues returning the items as to which they said no, I decided to come back to this Target to make sure they understand it is unprofessional and rude to waste Customer's time, Unfortunately the young lady and young man that gave me a hard time were not there, fortunately I was able to talk to Rosa in Customer Service, I told her what happened and she didn't understand why the other two employees gave me such a hard time, she apologized, gave me my refund and I was out of there in less than 5 minutes. I love Target, I despise this one. Until they open the Target in DTLA, this location off of La Cienega will be my spot for cheap & quality goods. Don't even get me started with how much of a cluster-eff this place is. Packed beyond galore, on the plus side the return aisle moves fairly quickly and I think it's because they just want to get people in and out. The only time I've been to a Target and they "needed" to see my receipt upon exiting, yet they didn't check anyone elses... clearly I look questionable. Honestly, the amount of people + the type of people that shop here are what get me the most irritated.
