Bought this Bag of Jerky yesterday 03/17/13 at the Laurel Location. Go home watching movies and trying to enjoy a snack, start noticed jerky is harder than usual but I keep on trucking. After about 5 pieces I head to the kitchen and turn the light on holy hell there's a white fuzz ball on a piece. Disgusted I am at the moment. Today I call and talk to the manager Lonnie. He says I'm sorry to hear that but we cant check all of the food so its a common thing. My reply is you guys sell food and you don't check if its good? So what else is bad on the shelves, He says fill out a incident report. So at this point I am a very dis satisfied customer. So I only came here for one specific thing, The Avengers Blu Ray! Yes, I had to get the first day and Target had a great deal for the new release (19.99 for the 4 disc Blu Ray 3D, Blu Ray and other discs) could not pass that up. The store is fairly standard as Targets are concerned. It does have a Starbucks, which is great, and it always has that damn delicious popcorn smell, which makes you forget why you went there in the first place. This Target store is great for me becuase it is close to work, so I can hop over when I need to pick up essentials during the day. read more

We got there at 10 ish thinking oh snap the store's probably closed but it was still opened. However it was dead inside. I really wished I had a pair of rollerblades going through these mega stores. This was a better target than the one at Columbia Heights but none of them had C8 lights? Perhaps blue is not the color of 2010. I did find some nicer ornaments, candie canes and icicles. By far the cleanest and quietest Target I've ever been in. I mostly shop at the Target in Columbia, MD. However they didn't carry the specific product I was looking for. This Target had it! I spent about 30 minutes in the store. I was able to find everything I was looking for. Large selection of African American hair care products! Nice selection of gluten free products. I used the self checkout! Overall, not a bad shopping experience. 4 Stars for the store overall appearance and product availability. read more

I love Target and I should not be allowed to go here because Target has a special super power and makes you spend way more than you intend to. Go in for one thing? Come out with 10. I miss the super Targets that they had in Texas, but I am glad they have put in more of a grocery section. Prices are often cheaper than in regular grocery stores and now you don't have to go to Target and the grocery store if you just need a couple of things. (Or come out with 20) I kind of feel like the clothing and home sections have gone down over the years. I do like the designer collections they do but I think they need to have more of a supply when they do them, especially when they offer well-known designers because things sell out and it is a bit ridiculous. I like this Target location better than the one in Columbia. I just feel like they offer more stuff and it is more put together. They are also updating the store and it looks much nicer than it used to. read more

I had the cashier ask if the children with me were mine. I replied yes these were my 3 children. She then asks if I'm pregnant again and I reply yes (I was purchasing baby clothes) and she tells me not once, not twice, but three times not to have anymore kids and I don't need anymore kids. It was very rude. VERY unprofessional and VERY uncalled for. All after I declined wanting to apply for a target card and I declined respectfully with a simple no thank you and she wouldn't stop pushing me to get one and when I kept saying no she decided to give me advice on how many children I should or shouldn't have. Very disappointed and will not be returning to this target while we live here at fort Meade. read more

I order all my sons schools supplies online and picked them up at the store. As I'm getting everything ready for his first day of school I noticed they places a sticker on every single folder and binder that I bought. I can't take the sticker off off any of the items. It's really ridiculous my son is stuck with their barcode sticker on each of his school supplies. If I didn't wait to the night before I go through the things I ordered I would of returned everything. I'm very upset read more

Love this Target. Always stocked with merchandise and the people on the floor are helpful. What I don't like: the people on the floor also stalk you... follow you around and there are never any cashiers.-- self checkout helps with this. Clearance and shoe department can use some love but I think that is Target across the board. read more

Nothing above average - traditional Target. My only dilemma, they seem to force you to to use self check outs! There were only 2 check out lanes open with approx 30 customers divided between the two of them... I only purchased 2 sma'll items prior to heading to the airport however I'm not a big fan of self check out. I feel if I'm doing the job of an employee, I should get an employee discount. read more

I gave it a one because I can't give zero or negative numbers. If you actually want your items DO NOT buy online pick up in store. They randomly pull half of your order and then mark the rest as out of stock which makes it ship to your home. My order had stocking stuffers and tape to wrap gifts....do I need any of these items after Christmas??? I tried resolving with customer service which was a waste of time. I went to the store and in less than 10 minutes found everything that was apparently "unavailable " in my order. You can't cancel an order already processed so I had to pay for all of the items again. Then I get the joy of doing post Christmas returns once it comes in. They could have easily comp'd out the $30 in items and kept a life customer. Instead that is the last time I will ever be in a Target store. Abhorrent service...or lack there of. read more

Hello, my name is Courtney and I'm a Targeholic. It is a rare occasion when I make it out of this store spending less than $100 and I'm here at least once a week. Highs and Low's: Highs: all targets are organized the same way so, its easy to find what you need, the staff here is very friendly and I am usually asked if I need help finding something at least once, the pharmacy can get pretty busy, but my prescription is usually ready by the time I'm finished shopping, they keep the bathrooms clean even when crowded, there's plenty of room for all and they open up checking lanes when needed, boxes of cereal here are $1 cheaper than at my local grocery store STARBUCKS! with free samples available at times Lows: busy parking lots, just because it says its available in the store on-line, does not mean you will find it on the shelf, cold/frozen grocery section is not impressive-I still need to hit the grocery store after a stop here My life would be much more difficult if it weren't for this Target. I should probably buy stock. read more

I like this target. This one is the closest to me and i always get my refills here. Every one in the pharmacy is so helpful and they never make you wait long without assistance. Actually they seem to go out of there way. Even if they're busy to make sure you remain calm. Lol this target has relatively a great sale rack. For the ladies if you go over to the area where the dressing room is you can find great deals on sale. Such as 30 to 40% off and these are nice clothing items. I bought a nice pair of straight leg black jeans for about $9.00 on sale which is good for target prices. The staff was very helpful one of my clothing items didnt have a price tag and the employee looked the item up and created a tag for me.thankyou! only downside is that this is not a super target. But they do have some grocery items as well as the other targets. So this is my review and i am done. read more

How can you not like Target? Target isn't the best for prices or quality, but if you are in a pinch Target can be very useful. Target has quality items and they offer a great store brand. I also like the fact that Target offers more choices for natural hair care than most places. read more

This store has gone down so much since they open you walk in always group of employees standing around talking no one ever in area you need help and when you find one they are most of time clueless. I walked past checkout area as I came into the store and noticed 8-10 people in each of three registers, with maybe 15 people waiting in another line for self checkout. Thought to myself, "What idiot manages this place? Why do they not open more registers?" I picked up one thing and went to the pharmacy to pick up medicine and waited four deep in line for fifteen minutes. The cashier tells me she isn't allowed to ring up anything other than the medicine...go wait in line up front to pay again! Nope, not shopping here again. Manager should be fired! read more

Unlike the Wal-mart across the street, if there are too many people the lines, they WILL open another one. I like this Target because they usually have exactly what I want when I want it if you don' t mind paying extra. No, it isn't cheaper than Wal-mart, but I sometimes I am willing to pay the extra for the peaceful shopping without standing in the long lines. Plus, the customer service is nice. I haven't had a bad experience with the staff. read more

By far, the worst Target I've ever been to. They shouldn't even be allowed to call themselves Target. Nothing was straightened in any section of the store, associates were not helpful or in dress code. I couldn't even walk through the shoe section because of so many shoes on the floor. Part of the reason people go to Target is the experience, the selection and the inspiration. There's none of that here. It's basically Walmart/Ross. read more

This Target store is quickly becoming just another Walmart in a trashy race to the bottom. It doesn't seem like items are re-shelved or organized properly. At any given time there will be on average two checkout lanes open. They put in two express lanes for until 12 items and then used them once that I saw before quitting altogether and closing them. read more

There are 6-10 people in three check out lines, right now. The lines are into the girls section of clothes. At what point do you call for back up? The longer I wait in the line the more I convince myself I don't need what I'm trying to buy. read more

This Target is great. Yet Black Friday is the reason for the lost star. The deals weren't as good as many other department stores in the area. Although I must give them credit on the fact I got a laptop for a great price. While Black Friday wasn't great I have to say the staff are very welcome and warming. I absolutely feel at home in this Target. The people at Customer Service are helpful and they don't get annoyed when people bring things back and are a pain to deal with. Overall this is obviously my favorite Target around. I hope to see y'all there! read more

I live very near this target & therefore spend hundreds of dollars a year here, probably more than that, but I don't want to know the true amount because it's way more than I should! To reward this loyalty they sold me a used Wii U at full price. When I brought it home I was unable to setup the system because the parental control PIN was set for the previous owner. I attempted to negotiate a discount instead of a full refund if I could resolve the issue by reformatting the system's hard drive myself because I really wanted to be able to use the Wii U sooner than later. There was no negotiation on keeping it "as is" because the manager who could have assisted me pretended he didn't understand my request. They had zero information on the possibility of exchanging it at that store because everyone was clueless on when they might get more Wii Us. I was given erroneous information about systems being available in the Crofton store & they suggested I take myself & my tired toddler over 20 miles away to a store that *might* have 6 of them at 7pm on a Monday night after the season's first snow storm. Thanks for selling me crap & then giving me the run around, twice to customer service, three phone calls to electronics & one pinhead of a manager in electronics. I will definitely be taking my money elsewhere. read more

Target to the rescue again (7/21/14 8:18pm). Had a major problem trying to get a refill at CVS (because health insurance plan changed) - will never use CVS again! Called Target's pharmacy,explained my situation (found out I could still use them-hooray!). The gentlemen who took my call was extremely helpful, took care of everything very quickly, and will have my prescription ready tomorrow morning! Who could ask for for anything more? The worst Target. The manager and customer service make up policies and rules among themselves and when you point out the inconsistency they deny what they said. Dishonest and mean. Other Target stores have no issues with simple thing as doing PM or price adjustments but at this store the customer is always wrong and let's find a way not to do it rather then let's see what can be done. They pitty even $5-$10 PM on a item from Target.com website. Would not recommend this store at all. Columbia Target is more friendlier. read more

This is the second time I've bought something in the cosmetics section that was missing something or damaged. This is very frustrating. I shouldn't have to quality check every item I buy at Target, that's the job of Target. If manpower is the issue, hire more people. If cost is the issue, stop paying the people at the top so much.
