While shopping at the Super Target in Sanford Florida I had a HORRIBLE experience.
While checking out, Ashley who claimed to be the store manager, cancelled a coupon I was using during my self check out transaction by literally stepping in front of me and touching some button to deliberately cancel the coupon. I was making 2 separate purchases, one for my daughter and one for my niece, the coupon is on the back of every flyer in the store as well as the mobile app. One of the employees gave me the coupon without the "terms and conditions" attached, so I used that coupon by the employee once on one transaction, another coupon on my mobile app on another transaction, and another coupon from my wife's phone she received via text on another transaction. The employee Ashley then comes over to tell me after I already used the coupon during the final transaction that I cannot use it again, I said "ok" she then stepped right in front of me with saying excuse me and logged in and cancelled the coupon. This was an entirely new coupon with an entirely new transaction. Well she cancelled it on me, and was downright rude about it and in front of other customer. This is not customer service by any means, the saving would have been $5, since I checked out my sisters transaction first and paid for it with her money, I lose out on the coupon because this employee decided to step in. After I told her that was wrong and I requested the manager, she told me that she is the manager and called over security who threatened to kick me out if I didn't leave the store. I was checking out to leave the store, I can assure everyone I will never step foot back in that store again and I'll be writing a letter to the corporate office to share my unpleasant experience while checking out using "self checkout" If Ashley is the store manager then let it be known she has provided this customer with the worst experience I've ever received while shopping at Target location. read more
