Disappointed in the delivery service. Order placed and delivery was for 10/09/25. I missed the delivery confirmation call on 10/08/2025, due to my work schedule. I called back soon after, about 30 mins. The automated system confirmed delivery for the date above. The morning and afternoon came with no call for delivery time frame. I called the number and spoke to the staff member who answered. She stated SHE will schedule my deliver for 10/14/25. I assure her that my delivery was booked at time of purchase. She stated she would message the warehouse to see why my order was delayed. I did NOT receive any call back. I called my sales person, Nancy Rivera (who was wonderful), and told her the situation. She stated she would follow up. My daughter, which was the person waiting on her bedroom set, received a call back, from Nancy, stating that the delivery was out of their hands. Because I missed the confirmation call, they moved my delivery date another week. Apparently, another entity is responsible for deliveries and confirmations. Needless to say, my daughter was very upset. My issue is that if you miss the initial call, there should be someone to answer the call back to confirm, or give you a chance to confirm. it was not a same day /delivery call. It was for the next day. The store sales person should tell the customer if they miss the confirmation call, your delivery will be cancelled. Most stores will try to reach you again. Staff was friendly but let us walk around without bothering us. Amanda checked on us without any pressure and answered a question we had. Overall the experience was not bad till check out. We wanted to buy a $20 item but we had to go through the entire system as though we were buying furniture and having it delivered. I didn't want to leave our address and last name but we had to in order to check out. Amanda was apologetic and nice about it though. The rest of the staff seemed cheerful and happy to be there. You'll get rescheduled, and the only notice of which comes via email two weeks after them missing the original warranty repair date. UGH. OH! BEFORE THE DELIVERY GUYS EVEN TAKE THE FURNITURE OFF THE TRUCK, GO LOOK AT EACH AND EVERY PIECE. Is it all there? Is it all brand new stuff? Is it all in good shape? Are there any missing pieces? Check for termites in the wood. Check that the furniture is dry. Sit in your sofa while it's on the driveway. Is it the same as it felt in the store? Does everything work on it? I have been going back and forth with customer service about a warranty claim for months. They keep bringing already damaged replacements... is it too much to ask to have furniture that's not already broken? Don't buy from Ashley stores! Product is low quality sold for top dollar. Tried them out in 2023 for a couch set came damaged and missing pieces! $6000 in couches had to send back and they didn't want to take them back and said I was stuff with them because they were already delivered. Took me two weeks to get them to return them! Figured we'd try Ashley's again just to give it another shot, oh was I wrong! Thank god I canceled $5500 in couches and got it elsewhere to save a little bit of the nightmare but wanted to keep one item but should've cancelled that too! Went through 5 deliveries total and an exchange with every time getting damaged product and wasted time off work. They only want to compensate $100 over $1000 item because they just want you to continue to exchange the product until you're pick one that's the least damaged and stick with it or return it all together. Their delivery drivers are awful, they throw stuff around in their enterprise rental trucks, they don't know how to set anything up, miss pieces, take pieces you need, etc.. Ashleys act like they're gonna help but slap you in the face with $100, doesn't compensate anything especially the 5 days we had to wait around all day, taking off work. Ashleys is a joke!! SHOP ROOMS TO GO!! Best sales associates, no hidden schemes, ended up getting a couch set from them, I've covered two things in the past with them and will forever stick with rooms to go! delivery with them went smooth and quick every time! no damages, delivery drivers are careful and gentle with your products, great high quality product where it's actually worth the price!! I ordered a bedroom set in April. However, I cancelled it today, over six months later because I still haven't gotten it. When you reach out to customer service, the date will always change. I get there's logistical issues right now due to Covid, but don't promise 6-8 weeks and then keep providing new delivery dates. Just say hey it's gonna be a while we're waiting on the headboard and we don't do partial deliveries. They did try to make it right by refunding the delivery fee, but it still isn't great to not communicate with customers. I wouldn't order from here again, not until things are back to normal and I'd only get something they have in stock. read more

How to begin expressing my frustration. *Monday June 6- I purchased a reclining sofa and a matching loveseat taking advantage of the Memorial Day deals. *Monday June 13- On the day of the delivery everything went awfully wrong. They sent two delivery guys and unfortunately one of them lacked strength. He was an older man and I witnessed how because of him the other guy struggled too to get furniture inside. Constantly dropping and banging couches on the way in. Then I noticed a tears other parts of sofa. I complained to the delivery guy and he took pictures and called dispatcher. I was told that pics were going to be sent in. When testing recliners which I did it after they left I plugged in the loveseat and the right side recliner was not setup/built correctly. It gets stuck, does a terrible noise and drags your legs towards the middle part. I decided to call the store's local phone number but instead of talking to to a staff from Sanford's office it routes you to a call center. Spoke to a lady & she scheduled me for a tech to come inspect it on the 22nd. She also sent an email where I could forward pics of the damages. Then I spoke to Adrian and he told me he could see the pics of the damages just fine and that I didn't have to submit no photos to any email or do anything on my end. Also since I reported on the day of delivery I had the option of returning it and getting a refund which I accepted. He even canceled the tech visit that was scheduled for the 22nd. *Wednesday June 15- Since I never receive a call or an email setting up a date for when couches would be picked up, I decided to call and was told that corporate was still viewing case and would send me an email. *Thursday June 16- Because once again I didn't get any email I finally got transferred to Ashley Sanford store and spoke to Abbey. Well she was apologetic and explained that I should've had contact the store first (that would've been nice if their local number went straight to their offices and not straight to customer care line) because once corporate is involved it is then considered to be out of their control. But she asked me for claim number to see what was going on. According to her there were no photos of my damages in their systems and since corporate was waiting for these photos to be sent via email ( same photos that Adrian the rep told me I didn't have to submit as it was already in their system) that was the reason why my claim was taking this long. So she advised me to go ahead and submit the photos of the damages and she would try and take it from there sending corporate a message and that she would give me a call the next day. Well once again I waited that Friday for Abbey's call and nothing. *Monday June 20- called back the store and since Abbey wasn't there I spoke to Jazmin. Again Jazmin repeated that since I sent the email to cooperate with pictures on Thursday and they usually take some time to review pics (approximately 72hrs) to give it until next day. *Tuesday June 21- Well I received an email today and of course Ashley's is requesting a technician to view and attempt to fix issue to manufacturers standards. So I called and emailed them immediately to schedule that appointment with a tech. But now I have to wait until July 5th. I just hope that tech doesn't give me a lousy excuse as why the mediocre low quality sofas I received are in good standards. Literally it's insane all this ordeal!!! #Pissed read more

I had been watching this bed that was originally $1200.00 for over a year waiting for it to go on sale, well it finally did over labor day weekend. On Labor day I called the store & spoke with a sales guy named Anthony who told me to come down & he would even beat the advertised price. Went in to the store & Anthony the sales man I had spoken with earlier was at the door to greet me. He was very patient and so helpful. I ordered my bed on Labor day Monday Sept 3rd & he had my beautiful new bed delivered to me Friday Sept 7th. Not only did he get me a great price $599.00 for my new beautiful king size bed, I was in love with all the bedding the store had on the bed, he spoke to his manager James who was friendly and also so helpful and he got me all the bedding included the pillows for 50% off. All the pillows & duvet covers were delivered by UPS the day before my bed arrived on Sept 6th. The delivery guys were awesome and very quick about setting up our new bed. They had some problems earlier in the day with there delivery truck, but kept me posted. Bed was supposed to come at 7 pm didn't arrive till 9:00p, they were apologetic but got right to work. This was the best furniture buying experience I've ever had. Thanks so much guys for helping me get my dream bed and all the bedding that goes with it. Not only did they give me 50% off bedding and pillows they also gave me 50% off delivery. I saved over $600 for everything. Im so impressed I will be going back in a couple months to buy my teenager a new bed. Side note: I had called the Altamonte springs store before calling the sanford store. The guy I spoke with at the Altamonte store was being very short with me & not helpful at all, I was so turned off by his attitude. I called the Sanford store where I spoke with Anthony who was the exact opposite. So I drove 10 miles out of my way to the further store in the pouring rain to buy my new bed & I am so happy that I did. I could not have been happier with my entire experience. Did I mention they were patient. I was the last person to leave there store on memorial day, they stayed 30 minutes after closing to help me finish my order. Bad customer service department. Bought dining room set only to have the chairs delivered dirty and wet. I reached out to the customer service department and was told they would send out a tech to review and replace. The tech came out and only was going to spot clean the 4 chairs which was unacceptable. I paid for a new set not one with what appeared to be used and worn chairs. It took extra time and effort and reaching out to other venues to get it reversed. It hasn't happen yet but I trust it will. read more

BIZAARE: We received three large boxes at our door today, December 5, 2017 at about noon. These are the 3 objects unpacked from the boxes. The sending address is Ashley HomeStore. There was a soft knock on the door. We saw nobody there but these 3 big boxes. My 2 USB C adapters are expected for delivery today from Amazon.com. However, I was expecting a small envelope. I purchased three chairs on August 26, 2017 in the Sanford store. They were delivered weeks later. All three had a defect. Weeks later, an inspector came over to declare them defective on September14. After my Facebook posts, I received a call from the Sanford Store manager. We brought our 3 chairs there, and finally got a full refund. These appear to be the replacement parts for what was defective. We already purchased much dining room and Living room furniture weeks ago from Pier 1 Imports and Pier 1 Imports with complete opposite experience of Ashley. Ashley are a pain in the Ashley. The quality of customer service and merchandise from Pier 1 Imports is extremely exceptional! Not Ashley. Please text your reactions below. What should I do about these 3 chair parts? UPDATE. At noon today, Dec. 6, I found another large box from Ashley HomeStore. If it's the front legs, I just need bolts to make a complete chair! It is another chair seat. They were delivered on this past Tuesday. I soon discovered 4 of 3 different defects on all of the 3 chairs. I called the Sanford store, and then the 800 tel number she gave me. I was told that someone would call Wednesday to come over Thursday. If they could not be fixed, I would get a refund. I have not received a call. We have lost confidence in these chairs, and want a full refund. The defects are not fixable in my home. There were no other suitable chairs found in the showroom. We have covered to protect the three chairs, but have no room to store them. We would like to bring them to the store. ****BUYER BEWARE!!**** I placed an order for ONE piece of furniture in early October. I have been given the run around for weeks now from the store claiming delivery is soon. I have taken time off of work, made myself fully available and yet they keep standing me up for delivery. Customer service is done by "policy" via email; no one is allowed to call and coordinate any deliveries. Then when they go to refund you the deposit you paid, you better have the EXACT credit card you used. If not, they can't help you and you'll need to get a letter from your bank, because that's THEIR policy. Hmm, upset customer, canceling his order due to poor service and you have the audacity to enforce YOUR policy?! How about you work on your delivery POLICY first, take care of customers and then this policy won't be necessary. It's a real shame when the Store Manager, Carlos was unable to assist with this exception. The polite front desk associate made the "executive decision" to take care of my refund. She knows what it means to take care of a customer. Take your hard earned money elsewhere to a retailer who is willing to work with you, and for you. read more

You better hope to whatever entity that your order arrives perfectly the first time or you will be taken on a ride, and not a good one. We had this happen before and should have known better. This time we won't forget. Our living room set arrived with a damaged console table. They took it back, fine. We couldn't reach anybody on the store where we bought it as even the "local" phone number routes to a call center who knows where. So we make a trip to the store and spoke to a very nice gentleman who very apologetically offered us a different set... except we couldn't take advantage of the special financing they had offer during memorial day. Fine! Oh! and by the way, they won't take back the end table that went with the first console table, even if you bring it to the store. That needs to be scheduled for pickup. Okay then. I take the end table back with me. Delivery is scheduled for week... that days comes and no delivery. Person reaches out to tell us the ACTUAL delivery date is a week later than that. We are furious by now. Our set is still incomplete, they keep pushing the delivery and OH! WHAT DO YOU KNOW.... they charged us for ANOTHER delivery fee for the item that was supposed to replaced the original one. How quaint. We go AGAIN to the store. Apologies, apologies, THIS time is for real. They say your order will arrive 6/17/22 "we checked and its on the warehouse". That's ANOTHER week but fine... they say they are going to talk to their manager on that next Monday to see about the extra delivery fee (not counting on it but we'll see and I'll update my review). Today is 6/17, and of course, like clockwork Ashley Furniture drops the ball AGAIN. They call THE SAME DAY OF DELIVERY to tell us that the end table that apparently was on the warehouse magically disappeared? The next available delivery date is the 31st of NOPE! PLEASE CANCEL MY ORDER. They don't handle order cancelations. I need to go BACK TO THE STORE, yay! I've had it with Ashley Furniture. To say they lie is to imply malice and I don't honestly believe that is the case. Everybody is nice when you visit the store. But they all must be hostage to one of the most unreliable inventory management systems in the industry!
