Came here yesterday because I placed a mobile order for pickup. I love that I can order online and normally within 2 hours I can pick up my order. On this particular day, I ordered a few boxes of cereal. BTW, cereal tends to be cheaper at Target. This particular box I purchased was at least $3 cheaper than at my local grocery store. I placed my order and within 1.5 hours my order was ready for pickup. I pulled up into parking spot 1, went to the mobile app, let them know I was here, my spot number, and within 2 minutes, someone was coming out to bring me my cereal. They verified the confirmation code, and put my cereal in the trunk and I was on my way. read more

Let me tell you all what just happened to me at this fine establishment. I walked in at 9:05pm on a Wednesday to grab a couple things and was rudely told "we're closing soon" by some young guy working up front. The store closes at 10pm..... I grabbed my items, which took me 5 minutes btw, and when I walked back to the checkout area, the first cashier saw me approaching and turned her light off. I walked to the next cashier, and she turned her light off on me also. So I guess neither of them could be bothered to help me. Customer disservice. I am forced to use self checkout (which I hate doing bc of germs). I called tonight to complain and the person at "Guest Services" answered the phone: "Hello?" How about a proper greeting?? "Thanks for calling target, this is (insert name) how may I help you?" Also: A couple weeks ago, I placed a drive up order, and the toilet paper package had holes poked in it and looked like it had been tossed around. No idea why anyone would think it's okay to give a product in this condition to a customer. The staff at this location needs some serious training. I have been coming to Target stores for many many years - in Florida alone, it is over 30 years! I received a coupon in the mail, went to use and the store system would not recognize it! What is there to not love about target?! The semi-recent remodel of the beauty section is nice. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to find items...I can't seem to figure out how they've organized their products on the shelves/aisles but if you can find an employee, they're all pretty helpful. My favorite part of target though is the drive up service. I campy believe that I just recently started doing this and IT IS A GAME CHANGER. Key tip: download the app, make your purchase, select drive up for pick up method. Orders usually take about an hour (2 max) to be ready and They are so quick to bring it out to the car. On my first night in Jax, I wasted no time in stocking up on essentials. After having a quick bite to eat nearby, I stopped by this Target store. My first aim was toiletry items. I found everything I needed in that section, and bought some miscellaneous food items while I was at it. I walked the entire store, found everything I needed at the time, and proceeded to check out. While I spent time here, I noticed how clean and organized the store is. The employees were friendly, and checkout was quick and painless. This place is very conveniently located, within 5 minutes of where I'm staying. And it is close to many other places, that offer both goceries (Publix) and dining. read more

I was in a line waiting to check out and the lady was checking out a customer and she told me that she was closed and that I would have to use self checkout. I don't use self checkout. This is a business. Too many people are losing their jobs due to self checkout and I don't get paid to ring up my purchases. I bought some items as well as a 50 gift card tonight. I used the self checkout and "Devin" was working. I asked for some help from Devon to get a gift receipt or a separate receipt to mail with the gift card. Devon said "No, I cannot do that" I explained that it happened out of state that the gift card did not work and a receipt was asked. Devon said 3 times "No , it's in the card" I asked to take it off of my bill. He did and as I walked out , Devin was shaking his head and laughing at me. I actually found this store on accident. We were out driving just to see what stores were in this shopping center. Surprisingly enough, this Target store was not packed at all! Usually when I visit any of the other stores in the area, they are swarming with people. When you walk in, there's a food court featuring Target's signature pretzels and hotdogs, and then you've got a Starbucks right next to it. I also noticed self check out, which I haven't seen in the other nearby location. The store was kept extremely clean and organized, and there were smiling employees everywhere. Just a great shopping atmosphere all together. They had a lot of clearance items, and I ended up finding a foldable children's table for only $7, originally $25! I was shocked at all of the deals I found at this location. They also have a grocery section, and a CVS pharmacy inside. read more

Dear Target, Please, oh please, stop trying to make the self-checkout thing happen. That kind of stuff only works well when you buy a couple or things and let's face it... WHO only buys a few things from Target? I walk in expecting to spend $30 and end up spending $300 in a matter of minutes. Plus you're not Walmart! That's why we love you. No one wants to spend their afternoon trying to punch in produce codes. I don't know what the code is for bananas! And I don't know which one of the 3 UPC codes I'm supposed to scan on the diapers. And God forbid I don't move the item off fast enough and it scans twice! Then I have to flag down someone while the other people waiting give me mean looks. I enjoy going to this Target when I am out at the beach. This is not a super target however they do have fresh groceries so I can pretty much get whatever I need. The store isn't usually too packed even on a weekend. There is also ample parking for the store. There is a Starbucks inside in case you want to grab a drink. There have always been plenty of cashiers and the employees are always helpful. Using the cartwheel app can save you a good amount of money on products you already buy. read more

Target hits the mark every time. They have it all: clothes, groceries, dry goods, gifts, home goods, seasonal specials, pharmacy, and probably a few I've forgotten. My husband loves the pharmacy because they offer the best prices (usually) for his prescriptions. I've fallen in love with their clearance rack in the women's clothes section. Since I have the benefit of working from home, I can buy a couple tshirts and a few pairs of shorts and be good for the summer. And when the clothes wear out, I'm not too upset because I didn't spend a ton of money on them in the first place. The seasonal items that you run into right up front - summer hats, winter scarves, etc - are always fun to look through. Last year, I found a big floppy orange beach hat and I wear it all the time when I'm going to be at the beach or on the water. The other seasonal section in the back corner is where you'll find school supplies, halloween costumes, or Christmas goodies. I don't do my regular grocery shopping as I'm in a long term relationship with the Publix down the block, but we will pick up a few things from time to time when we're in the store. You can run into a gruff employee from time to time, but now that the dust has settled from the remodel, they're back to their friendly selves. read more

This target is like every other target you have been in! Kind of makes this review hard since every target store is basically the same. A lot of things inside were red. A lot of basic women seem to love to shop at this store. I mean it even has a Starbucks inside. However, I moved here and my stuff did not arrive yet. Target was useful and I bought an air mattress here with some blankets to set up shop at my new place until my household goods arrived. The air mattress quality is honestly better than I thought it would be. I usually use the self checkout to make things easier. They have several of them and the wait is always short every time I come here. The staff is friendly and will help you if you have any questions using this method to check out and will sometimes give you coupons for things you are purchasing. Great customer service. read more

Loved one worked here for almost two years and what an awful experience. She was repeatedly verbally abused, complaints were gone unheard, and teamwork was non existent. No one is truly in charge there, it is just managers who have to have a college degree to co-co-co-co (not a typo) manage there. Standard Target for the most part though looks like they don't have as much of a clothing selection as others I've been to. I was not greeted by any Target rep the entire time I was there with my spouse, which is weird (I think). So customer service in this particular location was nothing special. We like this Target because of it's location at the beach and it's next to Publix which is very convenient when we're staying at our condo. There's a huge parking lot including racks for your bike since it's at the beach and plenty of people are cycling. The store is huge which can be a blessing or a curse depending on your visit and time frame. It's well laid out with everything arranged by department. men's, woman's, infants and kids for clothing. groceries, housewares, pets, greeting cards, toys, electronics, health and beauty, automotive and more. There's also a Starbucks, pharmacy and pizza cafe inside the store. What more could you need? You can really find anything and everything you're looking for in one place whether you're shopping for yourself or a gift. Can't find what you need? No worries, get a gift card and let that special someone shop for themselves. Checkout is quick and easy and if you have the Target "Red" card you get 5% off your purchase everyday. read more

He explained to me that the pharmacist on duty (who's name starts with J) 'has a personal policy of not filling out of state prescriptions since there's some paperwork involved." I just had the worst customer service here. An item I purchased was rang up for the wrong price so I took my receipt a picture of the sign where the item was stocked to customer service. I waited 25 min to even get to the counter. I watched 2 of the people in front of me leave frustrated because they were not helped well. There was only one Person working the counter first 15 minutes but I stood there. And I got to the counter and show them the picture and the receipt they said they could fix it. Then they acted confused and bothered. They told me that it was a wrong sign. Then they told me it was the wrong product. Then the pot a manager, she said so we must not have that product. No apology for the wrong item being stocked there! Or solution. Mind you there were 2 signs for insta pots and two types of insta pots shelves, not 3 even though they carry 3 instapots... so the one I bought on a shelf with 6 others had no price! I felt like for the holidays they were under staffed and not friendly. read more

Okay this is five stars for their customer service. I previously purchased 2 6 packs of dog food. I opened one of the cans and tried for three days in a row to get my dog to eat it. He obviously hated it and wouldn't touch it. I gave him no other options so he basically chose starving over this brand. I knew they would take it back one six pack because it was unopened and I wondered about the other which was now missing I can. I explained it to them and without hesitation, they gave me a refund back to my credit card. Yay for them and for me!! read more

One of the worst Targets in the Jacksonville area. Unable to maintain adequate inventory of their grocery section and continually have expired dairy items in coolers. Cheese expired by a month. Overall, their grocery selection and quantities are not well maintained compared to other Targets. Pan handlers, beggers, scammers abound and bother people in parking lots and during special events half the parking lot is taken up with people who park their cars, car pool and call Uber. TPC is a nightmare. Manager aware of problems but I guess it makes more sense for customers to drive 10 minutes to the Super Target rather than hire security and stop people from parking in their spots. The Super target has a better handle on inventory and turnover of product. Ive never seen expired products in their coolers. Beach goers utilze parking spots at Target because of inadequate beach parking elsewhere. Lets just say in summary, the lacadasical management is real evident here. read more

Seems like any other target but at 10:30 in the morning the line is 6 people long and only one register is open. What a joke.

The inventory control of this store is beyond bad. Too many empty shelves, product that is not replenished and basically the store looks like Kmart did when they were going out of business. Inventory is kept so low that common items are usually sold out and item not available for more than a week. I have never seen a Target like this. It is a shame that myself and many of my friends have to go to either the Super Target or Walmart on Beach Blvd. Recently, the past two Friday nights there have been 2 check out lanes open for about 16 customers waiting to check out. The Friday before Labor day was busy yet they had two cashiers that were very frustrated by the situation and even voiced their opinion of the chaos. Someone needs to do something with this store as the management is operating as if people in Ponte Vedra and Jax Beach will continue to come there but the word is getting out and you are losing many customers. Constantly out of inventory and not ordering enough must be good for management bonuses.... read more

Management was NOT helpful at all when I was trying to return a window AC unit that had never been used. I didn't ask for a refund because I did not have the receipt, I was in the middle of moving. I explained that the plug was not going to work without hiring an electrician. I thought I might use it when I moved but it was going to be an eye sore to neighbors, so I ran to Target at Marsh Landing, the same store where it was purchased, to return the unit. I was told that since it was over $70 and I didn't have receipt I was "stuck with it", unless I had account number. I was a little shocked but I asked her if it was ok if I called my brother, he purchased it for me, I asked if had the account number, which he did, but the manager was gone. There was another employee standing there so I retold the story to this employee she said there was nothing she could do. I asked if she could call the manager over, I waited and the original manager finally came back over. I informed her I had the checking account number. Then she said she was not referring to checking account she was referring to whatever card was used. At this point I was completely aggravated bc I have returned items to home-depot, lowes, Wal-mart etc.. anywhere with and without a receipt and never been treated this way. When she restated the $70 rule I said well I guess just give me a $70 credit instead of the $110 that was paid for the unit. She refused that as well. Refused to work with me and I am now "stuck with it!" I felt like I was being treated as if I didn't have a right to return an item that I took time to be sure all pieces were there. She gave the impression the if I had the receipt I could return it missing parts.. She never even looked in the box or anything. I will go to every store around Marsh Landing, EXCEPT Target. It is a terrible feeling to be treated like I had done something wrong. read more
