I decided to give this location another chance after buying spoiled deli lunch meat there a few months ago. Unfortunately, I had another disappointing experience. Today, I drove a long distance to this store because they carry the Vital Pursuit frozen meals I wanted, and I also picked up some chicken. When I got home and started dividing the chicken into portions, I immediately realized it was completely rotten. Having this happen a second time is unacceptable. I'll be returning the chicken tomorrow, and after two experiences with spoiled meat, I won't be shopping at this location again. read more

I have to say I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the store and the extremely high level of customer service I received. A huge shout out to Jillian (cashier), April (customer service)and Kassy customer service. They truly went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and I cannot say thank you enough. I will say this one was just as nice looking as all the new ones that I've been visiting lately this year. There seems to be quite a few things for these employees here to do because they seem hard at work whenever I see them on the floor a lot of rollback prices and good food selections. Okay, so this may seem like a low score but honestly for a small town I expected a better organized and clean store. It's a bit dingy and compared to stores in larger cities I was taken aback. The staff here is nice and helpful (if you can find them) but this is basically just another regular Walmart, has most of everything you need in a pinch and that's always good but the dingy portion makes me not come here very often. read more

Self Cashier people treat you as if you are a criminal ( staring at you and if the scanner doesn't scan your item correctly they come paw through every item in your cart making a Spectacle so everyone nearby starts staring at you. ) they never apologize after and laugh with other employees. We came to Walmart to finish up the boxes for our grand babies. We like this one because it is very spacious and typically the staff is very nice. We were not disappointed. Went to the store and shopped. Once at the register, I realized I did not have my wallet. The lady there (Rina) helped set my cart aside, while I ran home to get my wallet. Amidst COVID-19 this Walmart Super-center has maintained being open while adjusting to very strict guidelines as well as cleaning the carts allowing for an easy transition for customers without much for-thought which is a very nice. This is currently the only Walmart located on Fleming Island, directly correlating to it always being busy. What I love about this Walmart over others I've been to is how efficient the workers are at making sure everything is well stocked moreover tidy. Additionally, this Walmart has been on the uprise with technology over other Walmart's and allows for a far superior checkout experience that is much more expedited. The only quarrel I have currently is that while I may be an overly zealous clean person, I find the floors More-so than anything to be attended to as pictured in the back drink section. Albeit, if you're looking for a wonderful Walmart all around this is the place especially with the outdoors section where you can be an array of plants or succulents (my favorite). read more

The customer service by Rachel the manager was unsatisfactory. I was in the store to purchase items for our school pumpkin patch. All fall items were 25% off. I noticed the large flowers on a stand were 0.97. When I got to the register, they rang as 3.98. The attendant asked someone from customer service to check the price. When she went back there, those particular flowers were on two racks listed for 0.97. She then asked me to go to customer service for the price adjustment. The manager (Rachel) came from the back room and said, she needed to go and check the price. I waited another 15 min. for her to explain that she could only adjust one item. That policy she be written so customers can see it. read more

I've been going to this WalMart for 20 years. We prefer Target for multiple reasons; we've had issues with online order pick ups at WalMart, grocery curbside pick up, the produce is usually rotted, among other reasons why we choose Target. However, on 04/11 at 1050am, the proverbial nail in the coffin was sealed as to why we do not and will not shop at WalMart. Our trips to WalMart occur less than 10 times a year and now, will truly be for dire emergencies when Target is not open. Mon 04/11 at 1050AM. An overweight man with glasses, a beard, and no name tag who never once made eye contact with us nor spoke to us was referred to as the AP. This man demonstrated complete lack of understanding the difference between a BREAST PUMP and a PLASTIC BAG. He refused to allow Lasinoh Milk Storage bags to be returned because it had the word BREAST on the box. Chatonia proceeded to try and wave a mat with the return policy in my face. Ironically, we had just asked Chatonia for the return policy which she refused to give us, stated she didn't have to give us one, and that it "ends with her". Our encounter with her was quite hostile, aggressive, and dismissive. She was unpleasant to say the least. It was the word BREAST that determined his rationale did why he wouldn't allow this item to be returned. BREAST. He sexualized a plastic bag. Target has 0 issue accepting these bags to be returned because they recognize these are NOT breast pumps like this AP suggested. They are merely plastic bags marketed to store breast milk. There is NO difference between these bags and a ziplock bag, which would be allowed to be returned. It seems ALL the associates need training that a PLASTIC BAG is not a health item and is DIFFERENT than a Breast Pump. Additionally, interpersonal communication methods should be taught as well. Another note: While we do not do WalMart grocery delivery, there are complaints DAILY about groceries being "delivered" but not, items missing, etc. I cannot believe anyone continues to use pick up and delivery services from WalMart based on the complaints I see DAILY about such horrible experiences. read more

Updated: I have to give props to the Vision Center at this Walmart Supercenter location. The staff is truly exceptional and the options and prices for contacts are so reasonable. The optometrist here is so nice and professional along with his entire staff. I love this department! Overall, the rest of the store is still better than any of the Walmarts on my my side of town and the clientele is definitely more civilized. I enjoy the fact that I can grocery shop, pick up household items, get my eyes checked and visit the gardening center all in one place. The only thing that's missing here is somewhere to get a cup of coffee or cappuccino, but I'll get over myself. Plenty of that across the street. I'll just have to bring my own. 6/24/2014 - Probably one of the better Walmart's because it's in Fleming Island and it's never too crowded. My dad comes here a lot and I like it because it is 24 hours and you can come here when most others don't. The staff is usually pretty helpful and the store itself has always been pretty clean and organized. They have a great produce section and sometimes offer better prices than the farmer's market. Overall, it is very convenient to have a Super Walmart on the island and I really like this location. The parking lot is huge, the service is very good, the store is organized, the selection is unbeatable, the prices are competitive and the store is perfectly situated near everything on 220. And you can also get some of the cheapest gas here, too, if that's on your list. :) 5 STARS read more

This store is great convenient and very well organized and maintained. The only thing i would change would be the stocking of water during a hurricane i just wish they had a bit more of a selection. Although i really can't complain because they saw the need early on to control the rationing of the little water they had in store. So that was pretty smart. The employees are very nice and accommodating they have no issues going to the back to get an item for you thats not on the floor or checking to see when they will receive an item in that your requesting. I just can't give Walmart a 5 star rating... Mostly for principle, but there is always something lacking that reminds me why I don't call myself a Wal-Mart regular. For this place, it's the annoyance of the enormous amount of handicapped spaces that monopolize the convenient spaces toward the doors. I'm all for helping the handicapped, but the engineers that designed this lot were not thinking, or maybe they were but only that handicapped individuals would be the majority of this store's clientele... They are arranged weird, with some sideways, some normal and the spacing is so atrocious that the nearest regular spot is .1 mile from the door... I'm not lazy but it just doesn't seem planned out well. Anyway, the actual store is amply stocked and has walmarts famously low prices. The price match policy is nice for online and brick-and-mortar matches. The self-checkouts are a must due to their also famous 1 open register at the busiest times of the day... We go here for an emergency item now and then, something we know public doesn't have or that target may not carry, but other than that it's off-limits to us. But as far as Wal-Marts go, it's Fleming Island quality. read more

I was very displeased with the customer service with your associate Shannon. She has grown out blonde hair with some odd highlights of pink. I was in there with my sister at 9 pm on Friday, March 8th, doing some quick shopping. When we were finished we decided to check out at self checkout because its quick and easy. so we thought... after scanning all our 10 items we wanted to pay cash but quickly realized cash payment was not accepted at this register. so, we clicked the help needed button and Shannon got off her phone to "help"! she comes over and we explain we need to pay with cash and didn't know we couldn't. she then proceeds to cancel our items and pull up the start screen where it says "no cash payments" we quickly respond with "oh so sorry i dont think that was on the screen when we came" then this girl goes "yes it was. it has been for the past month." we were like oh! okay... eventually we got it squared out but the moral of the story is: Shannon needs to be a bit kinder to her customers. i try to sympathy I mean I wouldn't be too happy if my hair looked like hers but that wouldn't make me be a smartass with strangers. if anything i could have been realllll mean to her back but I bit my tongue because that's the right thing to do. As far as Walmarts go, this one is great. It's in a convenient location with convenient access. The store is bright with light, well kept, clean, and the restrooms are clean. The employees I encountered were friendly, polite, and helpful. They have best and wine but not hard liquor. The pricing is average for the area. I would visit again. read more
