Shoutout to our local community heroes like Chrissy and staff. I haven't been shopping at Target as much in the past few years. The store is organized and very well lit. Chrissy was up near customer service when the cashier needed to get help finding a price for me. Quickly she was able to give me a price on a wine coaster over in the Christmas clearance section. It was a very pretty piece. Later I was still wandering around in the Christmas section and Chrissy was stocking some items in the area. She had her price gun on her and was yet again able to get me a price on object .She told me that I could bring it up to customer service and that I could tell them that I spoke to her about the discount marked on the shelf. I had a wonderful experience. It was a good way to start off the New Year!! Especially when they had all their motorized shopping carts charged up front to help me get around. Bravo!! read more

This one is not as large as Town center, but was super clean and seemed organized. I was mostly ignored while shopping, but I prefer that. We where they're looking for 1 thing and left with 20 things as one does when shopping at Target. Understanding that it is still winter, Spawn #2 and I came looking for bathing suit bottoms. She is in that stage of not really a kid and not really a teen in sizes. So it can be difficult. There was a surprising amount to choose from, but most had "cut outs" or "ties" in the side. She was specifically looking for some that had solid sides and in a solid black so that can be worn with any top. Those did not exist. She ended up with cute striped ones. We also got sucked into the clearance racks strategically placed within the regular racks (I normally only see them bunched together by the dressing rooms). Even though cash registers have trouble processing certain types of payment and I don't like how long it takes for credit card charges to post, I still give this store a five star review because of something compassionate that happened a couple years ago. I discovered that I was pregnant and I was in dire need of prenatal vitamins, refusing to wait on my insurance to approve it. They took about 3 months to finally get some vitamins out to me. I was going to purchase the vitamins and a gift card so I could get the 10% discount on these vitamins. They gave me about $4 off and I didn't even have to get the Target gift card! What a relief! I was very moved by this morning thoughtful, considerate gesture. Thanks kindly be to you staff at Target for helping me to ensure the healthy and well development of my baby. Yay! read more

My least favourite Target in Jacksonville. Target is suppose to be the relaxed version of Walmart, which is why I'm willing to pay the higher prices. That's not the case at this one. I'd just as soon go to Walmart as I would this Target. Parking is atrocious here. Finding a spot without having to walk from the back end of the parking lot is generally impossible. The place is always busy and has the zooish atmosphere that Walmart does. Rude people everywhere who will bump into you and invade your personal space. Ugggg. I will say it's clean and organized. I will also say checking out is usually quicker than it is at Walmart. Can't speak for customer service because I've never needed help from an employee when I've been in this particular Target. I do try to avoid this particular Target though. If I lived on this side of town, I would just shop at Walmart and avoid this one altogether. No reason to come here, pay more, and still have to deal with drama. read more

I prefer Target over the Wally World any day! Target has plenty of Cashiers and as it gets busy, they call more Cashiers out. This is the way to handle things. The store in the front for seasonal items, for example St. Patrick's Day items, Easter, etc. the store is so clean. I like the fact that they have sale items on some of the end caps of the aisles. I appreciate the fact that you can scan your items at scanning boxes all throughout the different departments. They have great selections and prices. My biggest complaint is they claim to have a full size Women's dept. but it is mirage! Non existent. But, for everything else, they have for a great price. read more

Had a great trip to Target this morning. I always forget this one is here, and usually go to Beach and Hedges. Was in and out quickly. Just picking up some small, portable speakers. This target location is kept up to the target standard of keeping the inside clean, the outside respectably nice, and shelves stocked. This location does not live up to the target standard of customer service. Most employees are rude here. No one would answer why security kept walking around electronics and clothes consistently as in making rounds. If you need help you will have a hard time finding someone to help you. Once you find someone, they will pass you on to someone else. read more

I scanned the barcodes on the different isles on each product to get the coupon on the target app, then typed my target circle number in when I checked out and the price went down by two dollars, then I scanned my Target barcode again and it went up by two dollars and my two coupons disappeared so I wasn't able to use them. Also, the sensors randomly go off when people enter and exit the building. Refunds take around five days to get your money back at this target. Employees are on their phone throughout the store and at self checkout when they are working and are inapproachable because of that. read more

Just stopped by the target supercenter in Arlington. There were items that I had ordered from Walmart and they could not fill. I was able to complete my grocery list at target much to my surprise. They have groceries as well as the normal expected household items. The prices were fair. This location is so close to my house, I can probably jog here with no problem. That being said, Target is my go to for most of my household products. They have great deals and quality customer service. I never have a problem with the check out because they usually aren't that busy. I prefer coming here over Wal-Mart because o the lack of pedestrian traffic. I love coming to browse around because their displays are always inviting. I love their clearance, too. I always find some awesome deals on scrapbooking items and cute things for the kids to play with. The last time I was There they were in the middle unchanging their dollar spot stash and it was hard to find anything cool, but I've managed to find some stuff since then. They offer better quality of clothing and items for storage, furniture, and the cutest décor that keeps me coming back. They manage to keep this one clean and I've never had an issue with customer service. Keep up the good work, Target! read more

I occasionally go to this location. It is the closest location to my home, but price wise I tend to go to Walmart more often. Since I have kids I go to Target for some of their toy sales. I will order online at Target.com and then go pick it up at at the store. The last couple of years this has been my hot spot for Black Friday sales, either when they open on Thanksgiving or the day after. They do a good job keeping the crowd at bay and have enough security during their black Friday sales. We all know how crazy those nights get. Target now has a cool app called Cartwheel. You can either scan products or look on the app and fine some extra sales. You can also use the app with other coupons and sales already on that item. It def. helps in the savings department. read more

Horrible experience with incorrect clearance pricing. I was in this store this afternoon with my family and apparently an item that we took to the register that had a $1.74 clearance sticker on it was incorrect. Rather than offer any type of apology, the MOD (Rob) and the cashier (Gloria) were rude and simply stated "I'm not going to give it to you for that price". The item rang up $19.99. When I said they need to be careful pricing their products they immediately said "it was probably a customer". Last I checked, customers are not the ones who price items in the store. They should have honored the mistake, or at the very least offered an apology, which didn't happen. We were very disgusted by the service and how it was handled, and will not be using our Target Red Card or shopping in this store again until we are issued a proper apology for this very embarrassing incident. read more

I'm not a fan of Target, yet I find myself in here when I have no reason to be. It's close to Pet Smart so when I am in the area it's a stop to see what's new for the 15 to 17 year old who has not developed a taste for expensive clothing yet. I can always find something for my granddaughter. Cute tops and tees, Tom's look a likes and great sportswear. Every once and awhile they manage to get in some made in China high end designer togs from Missoni, or Isaac Mizrahi and I have even spotted designs from Nate Burkus. Do be fooled this is not high quality clothing but fun for a teen. Plus fun stuff for a teenager's room. Ample parking, scanners on all isles to check prices before one hits the register and food shopping. My favorite feature at this store is Starbucks. read more

Pre Black Friday shopping. The ads showed Westhouse television 55in for $250.00 but they only had 8 television. Really target smh...... The Xbox one was also I item I wanted and we were able to get that the price was 299.99 with a $60 gift gift. Which was a good deal I think. The had kitchen supplies that ranged from $10-14. I'm also not a big fan of Target but if they have what I need when the stores closer to me don't, then I guess I'm going here. This one is in my old hood, Arlington/Regency, and was on the way home. I had gone after getting my nails done and apparently it's pretty laid back at night. I just needed to pick up some household essentials that I had run out of and they had it for a fair price. The main item I wanted was a hair removal product that neither drugstore or superstore had in-stock. I will say that the price advertised online was not the same price as it was in the store so I ended up paying a little more. I was too tired to argue and really wanted to go home. This is one of the older feeling Targets in Jacksonville. This is a regular Target. It has some fresh foods but is not a super Target. It has a Starbucks and Target cafe inside so you can grab a bite. The store seems a little dark and dingy but you can usually find what your looking for and it's easy to get in and out. The service has always been good and the store and parking lot are clean. read more

It is unforgiveable that Walmart's Hair Salon is charging the customers an additional $3.95 to cover sanitizing! I could perhaps understand maybe an additional $1.00 (MAYBE), but such a large unreasonable amount takes away from an extra large tip to the stylist. Really WALMART? I will NEVER go back! Once I got to the middle of the store all I could smell was cigarettes. It got stronger and stronger the further back in the place I walked. Reeking of cigarettes by the time I got to menswear. There is NO WAY people don't notice that smell! I assure you they don't sell much men's or maternity clothing. The smell is disgusting!! I wasn't looking for anything in particular so I just browsed for a while. There is a Starbucks inside as well, I was tempted but was able to restrain myself and avoid unnecessary calories.
