I've been in Target stores since I was very little having grown up in Minnesota. This store is typical of almost all of the Target stores that I've been to. It's a very nice store with great selections that appears to be very well run. We stopped in looking for a microwave today as our old one bit the dust. They had a very nice selection at fair prices. We found one that perfectly fits our needs and the cabinet space! People at the cash registers were efficient and friendly. It's a good store! read more

I have consistently experienced what feels like harassment from this manager every time I shop at Target looking for squishy toys for my children. This morning, I witnessed one of the known scalpers giving the manager Needoh items. Shortly afterward, when I asked about the toys, I was told they were completely sold out. After I left the store empty-handed, I called the store and was informed that more had been put out shortly after I had left. When I returned, the manager asked me what kind of car I was driving, which I didn't feel was relevant to my shopping experience. She then stood and watched me while I was checking out, making me feel uncomfortable and singled out. It's disappointing to feel like regular customers are treated differently while scalpers appear to receive preferential treatment. As a parent simply trying to purchase these toys for my children, I expect to be treated with the same respect as any other customer. read more

This review is for the Target store in Huber Heights, OH. My wife spent an hour in the women's clothing department picking out clothes for church and Memorial Day. At 8:15PM, we headed over to the fitting room so she could try them on. The person in charge said the fitting room was closed. We asked why, and he said he only had 1 person to help put clothes away before the store closed at 10PM. We asked him nicely and he said "I can't help you, it would not be fair"! We asked again, explaining that we just spent over an hour picking out the clothes... he said, again, "I can't help you". My wife said she would put the clothes back on the racks...he said "no". So, we left over $200 in clothes in the cart and walked out the door. Very poor service...I don't think the employees understand who is paying them; unless it is a store leadership issue, in which case they have a real problem. read more

This Target has a big sign you can see from I-70, but try to find it from Old Troy Pike. It's behind the shopping center with Dick's Sporting Goods, across from the shopping center with Kohl's, Elder-Beerman's, and Staples. That's the east side of the road, first light north of I-70, and keep going past the stores you see. They added the modern grocery, so it's up-to-date now. Things have been re-arranged and it's like so many of the other Target stores in Ohio, so you'll know where things are. They didn't have what I wanted but some things are always popular. The Huber Target is ok. Their employees aren't always on the same page when it comes to current policies and will send you on a wild goose chase instead of helping the customer. The facility needs a bit of updating, but it's not horrible except for the restrooms. The restrooms need a COMPLETE overhaul. They're disgusting. Only use them if you absolutely have to. The employees on the floor don't seem very happy, however the employees on the registers seem to be in a more pleasant mood. read more

Decent location. They have a large selection of each department any normal Target has. Usually everything is in good order. Today was hectic, dirty dingy floors, the parking lot needed to be plowed and salted more thoroughly. Walking into as well as out of the building was slushy and slippery. Staff is stupendous; always helpful with a smile. That makes it feel good shopping in this store. read more

I purchased a board game from Huber Heights Target one day on my way home from work at the start of COVID-19 quarantine in March. Turned out my family had no interest in playing so I immediately returned to same location 2 days later to return the item and found that they had closed their customer service desk and had a policy of no returns being accepted. About 2 months later I again attempted to return it in May to find no return policy still in place. Well I finally had time to try again today and walked into a customer service desk area that looked like a s$!thole, stuff everywhere, and no rep at the desk. After 2-3 minutes I heard rustling behind desk and saw a young lady rifling through a shelf. She saw me and said someone would be with me in a minute and walked off into the main floor. After about 5 more minutes a young lady came and offered to help me. I handed her my return and explained that I had bought the item during "no return" period and was coming back for a 3rd time to return game. I was told I could only receive store credit and that "we started accepting returns in June, you should've checked the website". Thank you Target for showing me that your stores are staffed by rude reps, kept in terrible state of order, and have unfriendly return policies. You have lost the business of myself and my wife going forward. Enjoy my $21 because it's the last you'll ever get from my family!!! read more

Just wanted to state that I worked here last year as a seasonal hire, and I enjoyed working with the staff. Comparing this to my first job experience, years ago at the Brandt Pike Kroger...the coworkers were wonderful. Everyone seemed to perform their job decently and we'd work together to fulfill deadlines assigned by the floor managers. There was one con though. I have never had to stay hours over my shift to complete a task. Usually, I am used to clocking out at the end of my shift...but you can expect to stay over, to get all the reshopping done. I would have stayed longer had I been given more hours. Couldn't pay the bills with only 8-12 hours a week. But I'd recommend this as a great starting job! read more

I am a major Target fan. Have been for the past seven moves around the U.S. I usually can't get out of there without the Target "eye" doing its voodoo on me and spending a ton. This Target is disappointing. It has most things you need just like any other Target, but the people seem REALLY unhappy. I am not sure what the "deal" is, but their checkers are kinda zombie like. Target stores all look pretty much alike, and this one was remodeled a year or so ago to fit the standard mold of the stores with expanded grocery sections. It's generally very clean and well stocked. As a couponer, I appreciate that this location's staff never hassle me about having paper coupons, mobile coupons, and Cartwheel discounts all at once. A couple of times the cashiers have even complimented me on how much I saved. read more

These past couple of years have been very difficult for me. I have gone through a lot of changes, but my constant - my anchor - has always been Target. Although I was born a human, I identify as a cat. I have struggled with this for many years. Thankfully, we have reached a point in time where society accepts pretty much everything. Notwithstanding the erosion of normality in society, I still often find myself a victim of verbal and physical abuse. This quotidian harassment has caused me to become somewhat of a recluse. Due to severe anxiety and panic attacks, I rarely go out in public. It has gotten to the point where I can't even enjoy life; and since I have nine lives, that's nine times worse than you could possibly imagine. Going to the bathroom has become the most humiliating aspect about being in public. Unlike humans, I apparently don't have a basic right to use a bathroom. Inasmuch as I am no longer a human, I can't use the human bathrooms. So where am I supposed to go when nature calls? I can't help I was born the wrong species. Target has been kind enough to leave litter boxes throughout the store for trans-species cats just like me. I am now free to stare intently ahead and do my business while others shop around me. Target is very accommodating in other aspects of my life too. They don't throw me out when I hide behind shelves and playfully attack shoppers' legs. They don't scold me when I take naps in the middle of the aisles or bat around lids and small balls of foil. They simply laugh when I beg for a door to be opened for hours, only to walk away once someone stops everything they are doing to open it for me. This particular Target's welcoming environment makes me proud to be a cat. They even accept criminals who have paid their debt to society. My feline friend, Shadow, is always welcomed at this Target, despite being a convicted cat burglar. I'm not kitten you, this Target is the cat's meow! Cheers! read more

The service was nice, they kept counting down the closing time but the lady helped me locating what I was looking for. Just as any place in Dayton, they close kinda early and was interesting to see the place shut down lights on time as I walked out the door. read more

It appears that Target is running a scam. They had an item on their website for $2.99. The website also tells you that the item is in stock at the local store and provides the actual aisle location. When I got to the store, I couldn't find that aisle and it took me a while to get assistance because there was only one employee working the electronics counter while most of the remaining employees were stocking (in the middle of the lunch hour)! When I finally receive assistance, a kind employee helped me find the item. I took it to the checkout and it rang up $5.99 plus tax! I immediately took the item and receipt to the customer service counter. The CS person said that I should have mentioned the price difference to the cashier at checkout and he/she would have given me the online price. I explained that I didn't have a cashier because I used a self checkout lane when another Target employee took me out of line and led me to the self checkout lane. I haven't checked, but I would suspect that there are other items on their website with different prices than the actual store. How many people bought this particular item or other items and paid full price because they didn't know that the website had a cheaper price??? This is what I call a scam! In the future, I will avoid shopping at Target or check all item prices online before I get to the checkout. read more

Its Target... or as we like to call it Tarjay'. Its the kind of store that says "I don't want to be in the same category as Wal-Mart or Meijers please!!!! Clothing is average, prices very, and for the most part, they do have somethings better then their 'sister' stores of the same variety. But all in all, its the same junk. read more

I've been going to this store since it first opened, and I am not loving this renovation. The store is much darker than it used to be. The inner aisles are now crammed close together, which looks cluttered, and combined with the darker store I felt a bit claustrophobic. The clothing selection for kids is noticeably smaller, which disappointed me as I've always gotten most of my kids' clothes from Target. I was looking for something that was a step up from play clothes, but not as dressy as Easter clothes - basically khakis and a nice button down shirt for my boys and a sweater or nice shirt for my daughter. Nothing. It's all cheap T-shirts and jeans now. I ended up having to go to Wal-Mart to find what I was looking for. Very disappointing. read more
