After testing several different mattresses and several retails, we found the right mattress at…read moreMattress Firm. The iSeries was, by far, the most comfortable. It provided edge support and overall comfort/support among all we tried. We had several criteria and the staff spent time with us trying to determine best fit with best value. Based on our criteria, the staff spent an enormous amount of time with us while we tried to decide. They changed regular box spring box to a low profile box, they looked up leg size for the L&P 100 Series II adjustable base, gave us a great deal on 10 year guarantee mattress protectors, provided bottles of water, added special offers for best value, and had it delivered to our house in 3 days. I highly recommend this particular Mattress Firm in Springfield.

The delivery guys laughed when they arrived and said it was the thickest platform base they had and was closer to 6 inches. I wanted them to take it back, but they said we had to call the store. They told us to contact the store so we could find something lower and left. We called the store immediately and told them. The store said the platform base is the one thing they can't change once it's left at the home. I would have never let the delivery guys leave it if I'd known that. Our bed is about 4 to 5 inches higher than expected because of this it's blocking a couple head board drawers. They never had any compromises or anything, just your screwed. The bed itself was a good price just don't believe anything they say around the platform bases because they flat out lied about the height of them. Michael confirmed the base was 2 inches today on the phone and I said there are metal bars that are 4 inches off the platform, so it's 6 inches in total. He said that may be true but I didn't realize it. Good price on the mattress bad overall setup experience. I have all the extended warranties for these but I bet they aren't worth the paper they're written on with this kind of customer service. I'm looking for a couple more mattresses for my kids and I would not revisit this location.
