And it was love at first sight. I must have tried on everything in the store, putting together pieces to mix and match to see me thru the next season. My husband (who is never a patient shopper but was that day) finally said "Make up your mind...they've been closed for an hour" I had no idea, so I apologized and was told that was perfectly fine cause they were enjoying helping me. That's the thing about this company - they treat their employees well and I've never met anyone who didn't love their product and love working here. If wanted a job I would be working for them. But it's all about the clothes - the comfort and feel. And wearability. And how they make you feel. You can dress it up or dress it down...Whether planning to spend the day in the kitchen or go to a ball (I have worn a dress I bought here to a formal ball). I have clothing that is years old that never wears out. I might get sick of wearing it, but it doesn't wear out. It used to be when I got a new catalog, I would have to jump in the car and head to Cincinnati. Everybody there knew my name and said they had been waiting for me to show up! So it was a happy day when they finally came to Dayton. And now we have two here...they make it easier to locate my size. But this is my home store...and they not only know my name, they know my number. And when I say "call me when this jacket comes in" I know my phone will be ringing in a matter of days. I have always thought the staff were courteous but reading other reviews I would definitely acknowledge the 2 week return policy and thoroughly inspect any item I purchased or walk in the shoes on a rug before wearing out and about and expecting to be able return. I mostly purchase for my self and the return policy makes me think I would not purchase a gift more than a week beforehand with the return policy in mind. I think return policies evolve like this because people sometimes buy and wear shoes with a low threshold for returning. (Not everyone but some). I have never owned a business but this policy may be a business survival strategy. I respect that.

This is a GREAT American Eagle Outfitters! There is plenty of selection for men and women here…read more There are always sales going on at AE. When we were there, it wasn't too crowded. The women's selection is on the right and the men's is on the left. The fitting rooms are on the right towards the back. It's kind of small in the fitting room area though and the area in front of the fitting room can probably get crowded if there's a lot of people waiting. Lucky for you there are lots of impulse items there for you to check out like scarves, gloves, and hats. In case you're looking for it, it's right in between Victoria's Secret and Tilly's as well a Pac Sun.

They definitely cater more to the younger set with all their Bieber-themed items, glitter gloss and nailpolish, and bejeweled backpacks. Don't get me wrong, I love my cheap trendy jewelry, but their prices aren't exactly cheap compared to Forever 21 and Charming Charlies. Most Claires stores are overstuffed to the maximum, so it always feels cluttered and disorganized in there pretty much no matter which Claire's location you happen to encounter.
