Do you enjoy long self checkout lines? A store with maybe 1-2 cashiers and another employee that just stares at you while u do self checkout for yourself? This Target has figured out how to get the customers to do the work of checking out and bagging their stuff and brainwashed everyone in to thinking it's faster and better. Yes, a store where they hire barely anyone because the customers can do it themselves! They will have one employee stand there and wave you on to the next open self checkout so the employee getting paid can watch you do the work for Target. If you enjoy not being bothered by employees asking if they can help you, then this is the place for you. You might get lucky and find an employee but they are stocking shelves and not there to help customers. The only helpful people are at the customer service desk and the ones that are bringing stuff out to the cars for the people still worried about covid and can't come inside. If only they could be cashiers, that would be wild, anyways... Target new CEO, might as well close shop and let Amazon take over the world, or just paid leftist protestors come in and take over instead. LOL!! Really thinking maybe of shorting Target stock after writing this because yeah they are the next K-Mart but no blue light specials. read more

Eight year old detests shopping. But when I got a mailer featuring the new Cat and Jack line she got excited and we headed here to do some back to school shopping. The pants she was most excited she called "party kitty" pants. The first time she wore them she got tripped and both knees got holes in them. Luckily, I was able to replace them today. I might be a little sceptical about the reinforced knees but we'll see. Course we got a big bag of stuff cause it does wash well. And its pretty dang cute. In addition to pleasing my picky shopper, I can find just about anything I need here. Like a season of Orange is the New Black and a bottle of wine to drink while I watch that. It was February. I was spending the weekend up in Dayton with my daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren. My daughter likes shopping at this @target store. We were running errands on a Sunday morning & she came here today to return leggings purchased for an upcoming trip. I spent the time hanging out with my three year old grandson in the toy department as I had done on another recent visit here. He had a great time! The toys are high quality brands like Melissa and Doug. Scooters, trucks, musical instruments and more were his choice today. It seemed like we had just began to play when my daughter was finishing up at the changing rooms. Her purchase was quick and friendly. Then we were out the door. I am livid. earlier today at around 2 pm, I went to my local target and saw that there were six cashiers. They were sitting around literally doing nothing. come 8pm, I went back to get a few items. I had to wait 20 minutes in line because the self checkouts were closed and there was only ONE cashier. I love target, but if you are going to close the self checkouts, for the love of all that is holy please hire more cashiers. read more

Personally, I love going to target with my daughter it is one of my favorite stores. However, sometimes I will go out of my way to not go to this location due to the service. The selection is also not very pleasant in respect to the idea that it is a smaller store. I always have a hard time trying to find healthy baby foods at this store as well as in date produce. I try not to go to this store due to one of the staff members that is surprising rude to customers. I have had several other people share the same experience. However, when the staff smiles back and me and treats me like a human as well I tend to have a pleasant experience. read more

Maybe I've just been spoiled by the Targets back home that I always went to, but this 1 isn't great. As you walk around its a miracle if anyone makes eye contact with you or even says hello. If you get both AND a smile, go play the lottery. I also suggest checking expiration dates on food here. I've brought home expired drinks and food more times then i can count. Overall.. its still Target (which is why I'm still giving them a 3) and I love Target as a store, but I find myself hitting the big Walmart on Sugarcreek more often now then I would a Walmart normally. read more

I paid cash for a sewing machine only to bring it home to find it was broken. Took it back the very next day along with the receipt in the sewing machine act nice and neatly back into the box as which it came. Customer service refuse to give us our cash back instead told us that we could get a gift receipt. After 25 minutes of arguing with a cashier we ask to speak to a manager. The manager told us that that was their procedure. Uhm no... if I pay cash for something and you give me a product that is broken I want my cashback not a gift receipt. I have never shop there since and this was a year ago. C'est La Vie Target! I would rather shop at Walmart Supercenter in Moraine. If that tells you anything! Not happy! read more

Love Target & the store itself at this location is great. It's right by my house, though I will go out of my way to go to other locations at times just because of the hassle with trying to get out of the parking lot. There is traffic coming from 3 different angles, all with stop signs trying to get to the light to turn left onto Feedwire, however the cars coming from the Home Depot side don't even stop 50% of the time because all the street lines are faded & they just don't see the stop sign I guess so they just keep driving straight to the light & I have almost been hit several times. The line is always long because everyone seems to want to turn left so it gets backed up & is just a mess. read more

Even though it's a little pricier than its competitors, I prefer to pay the difference and go to Target. I've bought a variety of items from Target including clothing, shoes, cleaning products, home goods, and toiletries, and I've never been unsatisfied. What I especially like about this particular Target store is their grocery section. I intended on just picking up a gallon of milk out of convenience while I was there for other things. I ended up filling my cart half full of groceries. They have a lot of unique fresh and non-perishable items, and if you know your prices, I found many items to be cheaper here than they are at Kroger. Nicely done, Target! read more

I shop at Target for one item because I dislike the quality of their fashion. I went to purchase the item that was running a deal if you spent $100 you got a $20 gift card. I loaded my cart and checked out. When I asked the clerk for my $20 gift card I was informed the promotion was not for in-store purchase. That disclaimer was not posted in the isle on the promotion display. I went to customer service and return my purchase. I was told I could not place a pick up order while standing there and them satisfy the order with the items I had in my cart and receive the discount. I was told it would take 4 hours for my online order to be available. So I went home, placed my order, and received a text within an hour that my order was ready for pick up. I was not able to return to the store that day so will have to return the next day. This is ridiculous to have to make 2 trips for a promotion. I've been taking advantage of this promotion in person for a decade and never had to jump through these hoops. I also, didn't receive my 5% red card perk because the first order was refunded on a gift card. read more

Very disappointed with the customer service at this specific Target. During Black Friday I had purchased a tv, but after some time I realized the tv had too many flaws. I had misplaced my receipt, but I did purchase it with my target card. The supervisor not sure of her name but is an older Caucasian woman told me I couldn't return it. Her justification was that I needed the tv manual. Which was totally made up she just didn't want to help me. Not to mention she was giving me some rude looks. I went to the Fairborn Target and they took it out of my hands. I love shopping at Target but after my experience I almost convinced myself to never go back. read more

Target: the place you go to avoid going to Walmart at the cost of paying a little bit of extra money. But hey, chef don't judge. In fact, my metaphorical chef also goes to Target to avoid Walmart. It's not like chef is hatin' on Walmart or anything, but chef wants to feel fancy sometimes, and Target is where he goes to do that. Target has everything ya need! Movies, clothes, fruit, a new spatula for your own metaphorical chef. The possibilities are endless! Very nice store, and highly recommend by everyone who ever lived. read more

The boy and I were on a mission. The comforter on his bed is just too hot and I keep waking up in the middle of the night not able to sleep. That and I needed new pajamas (wait a minute, he never did tell me what happened to my old ones...) so we thought that we would hit up Target on the way home on Saturday morning. Now, generally I love Targets but this one seemed to out of a lot. There were several smaller items (hair wax, hand soap) that we were looking for that they were out of or just didn't seem to have in the 1st place. I did find new pajamas (clearance rack for $3 - score!) but not a blanket (cheapest one I liked was $80 - not score!). The in-store Starbucks was nice. It was a chilly spring day, and I really needed my coffee and she knew exactly what I meant by EXTRA DRY cappuccino. Perfectly made, and since I ordered a short, she knew to give me an extra cup since the sleeves don't fit. If it wasn't for all of the items we couldn't find, this Target would definitely have a higher rating. read more

My husband, myself and grandson were all in the electronic dept (evening of 8/15/15) looking at a Call of Duty game. I remarked on the short-sided behavior of game companies making games for only 1 player. This makes it a poor choice for people who want to host parties and offer this as one type of entertainment. As a consumer who often buys these games for male family members I think it is stupid that they all can't play when together. The young working in the department rushes over & tries to impose his view of why it isn't stupid. He continues on even after I tell that I am not interested and I am annoyed to the point that I will spend my $ dollars on something that is for more than one person. Still he continues his banter even after I tell him 2x that I don't care. Further more, he begins to tell me what a bad game it and that it has no flow, poor story bad, bad graphics, etc? (And he still thinks it is not stupid??) He pushes it still by telling me the story of how he plays these games as a competition event mostly with men 17-30 in CA and they don't need to be together. ( I still don't caare!) Is this is how Target trains their employees? What happened to serving the customer and the old axiom "the customer is always right"? You can bet my next purchase won't be there. read more

I was in need of an iPad mini 2 and went to purchase one at target to take advantage of their Black Friday deal. They did not have the model I wanted but told me that I could buy a different model and return it and still keep the gift card they were giving away for their promotion. I ended up buying an iPad mini 1 and receiving an $80 gift card. I found the correct model at the Apple Store so I went back to return the iPad mini 1. Upon arrival the manager Stephanie and associate Dawn told me that what I was told was incorrect. I was then told I had to return the gift card in order to receive my full return. This was not what I was originally told and what I agreed to when I purchased the iPad mini. Stephanie failed to do anything about the error that her associate made and only allowed me to receive a return with the promotional gift card deducted. This interaction was unacceptable and she should have been able to return the full value like I was instructed by her associate. I would not have purchased the iPad mini if I knew I was not able to keep the gift card like I was promised. They just wanted my sale and told me anything I wanted to hear in order to get it. I will not be purchasing anything from this store ever again and do not recommend it to anyone. read more
