Tried to get assistance with a pay as you go SIM card in their tech department yesterday - bored & disinterested staff members just pointed vaguely in the direction of where to look & continued doing what they were doing. No offer of help whatsoever. I am visiting from Australia & needed assistance! I ended up getting a sim which I now discover is not compatible with my phone. Not a hint or a glimmer of customer service to be seen! Not impressed! Guess we're used to a far superior level of service down-under. This Target is always packed and it is hit or miss that they will have what you are looking for. The one thing that sets this Target apart for others around town is that it has a very small section for kids and babys clothes compared to others. Not sure why but we were even talking to other customers about this today. Also, at times, like today, they had to have had 30 people in the return line and it was moving so slow. I'm glad we decided to hold off on the returns because even after our 45 minutes of shopping in the store the lines was still just as long. Of course it's inside the target as we go we are ordering and this employee has a mad face on he looks annoyed and like he doesn't like his job , we are ordering and i told him exactly what i wanted twice we get our drinks and they are not what i wanted. i wanted a dragon fruit lemonade blended and it wasn't even blended. i hope his manager sees this and gets told something bad costumer service. If you were a potato you would be a nice potato. This is one of the better Targets in term of selection in things that matter. However their unwieldy and oversized plastic carts are piloted by some of the drunkest (or just rude) people who can't seem to keep them going in a straight line, instead turning every aisle into a game of Chicken and/or demolition derby with the carts. Three stars if you time it right where it's not that crowded. 2 stars since it seems to always be crowded when I am there to buy deeply discounted xbox360 games and industrial sized boxes of wine though - in the words of Linda Belcher, "Mommy doesn't get drunk. This Target is great. They have friendly customer service. All staff members know where everything is, even strange things! For example, I was looking for water shoes for our vacation and couldn't find them in the shoe section. I was about to give up, put on my pouty face, and stomp out (because I'm a five year old on the inside), but then a friendly staff member asked, "May I help you find something?" Just as I was about to say my usual, "no, thank you, I'm fine..." I had a change of heart. I asked, and the staff member walked me to a toy/equipment aisle! I didn't know such an aisle existed!!! I found the shoes, and the cutest ones (remember, these are water shoes and cute options are limited) and purchased them. While staying in Houston, our hotel was not far from this Target and we thought that would be very convenient. Unfortunately, we waited over 55 minutes in the drive up and ended up just choosing to come back the next morning when it would hopefully be less busy. When we got there the next day, over half of the order said it was out of stock even though it did not say low in stock when ordering it the day before. It was holiday time so that happens, I get it. The problem is that when we went in to pick up the order instead of waiting at drive up again, we saw the "out of stock" items (and many of them, at that) while we were picking up a few additional items. Once we got back from the pickup, we also realized that we were missing 2 items in the bag. I got back on the app to see if they had been cancelled too, but they had not. They had been marked as picked up. I will say that every staff member we saw was working very hard and was friendly, so it wasn't a problem of laziness. New Carts-New Carts-New Carts! This may not seem like a big deal but sweat baby jeebus these new carts are amazing! They are all plastic and light as a...a plastic cart. They are super maneuverable and a smooth ride. They also have a mega-cart that allows for seating of up to 3 little ones. (See pic of adorbs childrenz chillaxin in the mega-cart). The addition of "fresh food" section is aight. They really don't have that large of a selection but it is nice to be able to pick up some bananas along with the toilet bowl cleaner and socks. When I moved into Garden Oaks this was the closest Target. I like it, but by far it's not my favorite location. I really love the one that is closer to 610 and braeswood. This location has some good deals on swimsuits from time to time for my gf. But overall, I only come here for Gift Cards. My biggest complaint is the location. It's in the back of a parking lot that has a parking lot in front of it. So the people driving through come from all directions. Also the turn in depending on which side you enter from is a blind and very dangerous. read more

This target is expanding and undergoing construction to become a super target, I believe. This target is a bit more expensive then other target's in the suburbs. Great selection and the food options (like I said) are expanding. I love how there's always cashiers available, but usually I go on weekdays. I've gone to this target on a Friday-Sunday and it is a madhouse trying to get in and out. Parking is an issue. Crowd control is a bit of an issue on the weekends and prices can be steap. Overall, the store is clean, staff is friendly and you can always have a good time with target stuff! read more

Target = HAPPY GIRL :) I love Target, always have - always will. It is 10x better than Wal-mart. Even though this location has a high traffic volume, the lines move pretty fast and the staff are super friendly. Like most retail places, it's a bit crazy on the weekends and parking can be a bit of a headache but I think that's a given on a Saturday or Sunday anywhere. They have fabulous "new" plastic buggies and the store is mostly clean and stocked with both goods and sales people. As far as pricing, I think it is comparable to Wal-mart. There are some items that are cheaper there and some that are cheaper at Target. IMO, it's worth the extra $$ to not have to deal with Wal-mart.... And another plus, is that it's in a shopping plaza, so plenty of places to grab a snack which is what we did. On the way out, my friend saw Arby's and wanted to stop in. I hadn't been in about 10 years so I was game and it was a great decision. So, I love Target and recommend this one...wait, maybe I should give it a bad review so others won't come...hmmm...nah...I'll share my joy. Thumbs up, Thumbs up! read more

So I have ADHD and I went to the doctor and he made the decision to up my dosage. I went later that day to check the progress of my medication at the pharmacy. They said It wasn't ready, I said okay, and proceeded to leave. All of a sudden the pharmacist Loy pulled me aside and felt the need to berate me on why he was refusing to fill out my prescription. He asked very personal questions like "how long have you been taking this medication" I said "as far as I can remember...my whole life" he smirked and said "see that's the problem, you're an adult you shouldn't be taking this,". First of all you're not a doctor. You're a legal drug dealer. So count my f*cking pills and keep your two cents to yourself. I felt furious belittled and disrespected Long story short if you ever see Loy...avoid him at all cost. He's rude, and a know It all. I have been on the hunt for the Black History Month dolls by Harper Iman morning. I called target and they said they had four on hand. When I got to the store Lexus started to help me and later Rebecca joined the hunt. Rebecca looked on the floor, looked up the item in her hand held device, and finally discovered several dolls in the stock room. When she brought me a cart full of dolls, I leap for joy and could not hide my happiness. They lock the incoming doors well before close. If a business is advertised to close at 10PM, they should be open until 10PM. I know some take advantage of this but, I stopped for one item and would have easily been out before close. Not sure who manages this place but, I would never allow my staff to lockup before close. read more

I love target so I can't rate it bad, however, this location needs just a little work. The shoe section is always out of order and a mess and same shoes and seems that not many new styles are added very often. The front area of women's clothing to the left, seems like that jammed a lot of clothes in one spot. I like a LOT of selection but just seems crammed. This evening my child needed to use a restroom and an employer walked in before us. I was standing outside the stall door while he went and that same employee walked out of the stall and walked almost all the way out of the restroom without washing her hands and she saw that I was watching her so she turned and walked back into the restroom and washed her hands. The worst target you can ever go to! The staff is so unhelpful and half of the time the tech guys aren't where they're supposed to be at had to wait like 15 minutes for a tech guy to show up because no one was around and when I asked where the item I was looking for he said it should be by the place I already looked at didn't even offer to help or look in the back and the place was all meat everything was disorganized! I tried calling to avoid wasting my time going there but they never answer and if they do they ask to put you on hold and end up hanging up! Target needs better and actual helpful workers read more

I bought my son a toy here, a jet launcher, and the same night I bought it, the toy pinched his skin on his hand. I had to take him to ER, took 4 doctors to remove it from his hand. I reported it to Target just to advise them of my concerns with the toy, and this review is based on how they dealt with it. Never got the 3$ refund, I spoke to Rihana from Target Guest Reporting and she was very rude. I love Target but the way they handled this was very unpleasant. read more
