Nice store normally shop at my local store but decided id go in right before closing on 9/24/17 since I called in looking for a Apple Watch they let me know they had one in the color and series I was looking at so said great hung up then 4 hours later went in and they still had it I was helped by Juan Carlos I think is what his badge said not to sure but he was over in electronics younger guy well anyways he helped us out and was friendly even got us to do a red card application he let us know how we would save 5% and gave us the option for credit or debit card if it wasn't for him we may not have even applied although in the end we decided not to make the purchase he was still friendly about it and also was helped up front at guest services with a girl did not catch her name but she was extremely friendly as well so props to both of them for making this a easy quick trip to target read more

Prices are moderately high but selection is usually good. Plus there's a cafe so that's a huge plus! Not to mention their awesome dollar section! Quality of items is pretty good so no worries there. Not much else in Hollister to choose from anyway. But a fair warning - don't go there if you're a local native trying to have a quick shopping experience! It's like a high school reunion every time! Pharmacy review only. This pharmacy has gone downhill. They have no sense of customer care. This is the last time I get a prescription filled here. They have been rude in the past and often don't have Meds in stock. This time, had prescription for antibiotics called in and get here 30 mins later and it's still not filled. Who gets a called in prescription for antibiotics and sits on it?? I'm done with you. Walgreens or ANSR are much better options. read more

This is a great Target to go to. The recent remodel is really great and makes the store look sharp. They're always clean and organized. The only downside is that they don't have a great variety and stock in the grocery department and I've bought expired food before on accident. Other than that, the store is great and the workers are always friendly and willing to help. read more

I have been to this Target many many times, and have never had any issues with any of the employees nor security guards until today (10/16/2020). My partner and I walked in today to get a few things, expecting it to be a quick run like usual. As soon as we walked in, we saw a female security guard at the front of the store. I looked at her friendly and kept walking, but my partner noticed she was glaring at him. As we got further into the store, my partner noticed the same security guard following us. He became extremely uncomfortable and expressed to me that when we first walked in, she was eyeing him up and down, and now that she was following us. I wasn't sure at first and just shrugged it off, but as soon as we left it was confirmed that she was profiling my partner. I had purchased alcohol, but gave it to my boyfriend to hold on our way out. Immediately as we were walking out, she shouts to my partner from across the way and says "excuse me sir, excuse me" and walks up to us and asks him if he is "of age" with an aggressive attitude. (We're both 23 years old). My boyfriend says yes and she remained quiet, clearly not believing him. I asked her if she wanted to see BOTH of our IDs, and she said yes. I showed her mine, he showed his to her and she was like "yeah that's not you" to my boyfriend. He is trans, and his ID is an older picture, pre-transition. He lowered his mask and said that is me, and she was like no. He then told her I'm transgender and she immediately got quiet. The look on her face really said it all - I cannot BELIEVE this security guard had the audacity to embarrass my partner in the front of the store, and that she made him feel completely uncomfortable to the point where he wanted to leave. read more

On 2/23 we purchased a box of Epson ink cartridges from the Target store in Hollister. When we got home and opened the box we found that the ink cartridges in the box were used. Someone had opened to bottom of the box and replaced the new cartridges with used ones. On Sunday 2/26 we returned to Target to get our money back. The person we felt with was extremely rude and basically accused us of fraud. They further stated that we would have to contact Epson. We bought the ink cartridges at Target. Why would we contact Epson. Long story short be careful what you by at Target. They don't stand behind what they sell. As a side note I purchased the same ink cartridges on Amazon for less and had them in one day. read more

I have been to the Hollister since the store came to town in 1994. I was glad when I first heard we'd be getting one of these stores in our town. I can still remember going on the first or second night that it opened. Just about everything you'd want or need is available here. The store has gotten bigger in the yeas that it has existed. It's always good to go to for bathroom and cleaning supplies, and for sodas and snacks when you don;t want to make a trip to the grocery stores. Also good for getting books, DVDs and music and some clothing. read more

Nothing against Target, but...the pharmacy sucks. I was on the auto refill where you get a text. Text said my prescriptions would be ready Tuesday at noon (this was Monday morning). Nope, not ready. On top of that since CVS took over, I pay MORE on insurance than I did paying out of pocket. I'm done with that pharmacy. read more

Get most, if not all, of my shopping done here when I'm in town to visit. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The Starbucks inside is a nice touch. With the addition of groceries, it is really a one-stop shop. read more

I thought Target Pharmacy was next best thing to sliced bread. At Christmas they went out of their way to fill two critical prescriptions rite-aide could not before the long weekend. Yet I dropped those same prescriptions off at Target to be filled last night explaining I would pick them up this morning when I came to town to have lab work done. I get there and one is not ready after 1 1/2 hours I find out because they don't want to release it to me! I have been filling this medication for almost ten years! I have the most painful nerve disease on the planet and it's not Targets job to diagnosis me over the counter! They are there to fulfill my doctors orders! If they don't fill this today they will be hearing from an attorney! read more

I've been shopping at the Hollister target for the last sixteen years since I moved to Hollister. It's been an up and down experience. They have had some horrible sales clerks in past and recent years. I even boycotted all targets for 2 years because of the hollister store. I generally don't like to be snapped at when I am a paying customer, but after sixteen years you learn to live with it when it's the only store in town that you can bear to shop at. Lately the quality of employees seems to have improved. I guess it's a slow work in progress. I am moving soon and I have to say the Hollister Target won't be missed. read more

The store can do a lot better certain areas are very nice and merchandised well but there are other sections which I'm assuming are visited more. but it just almost seems like the employees turn a blind eye to certain areas this year I have become more familiar with the toddler clothing area and it almost seems like they get an order maybe every two months in that department I can never find any clothes in that area because everything is scattered all around and I usually leave empty handed. But it is is not only in the toddler area it seems that once product gets low the employees don't take the time to try to merchandise areas to make it look more fuller and more appealing to the eye so in the end everything just looks very messy and empty and run down. read more

Specific to the photo dept. Ordered online on Sept 5, here we are Sept 21, 2015 and still no photos. They have been out of paper, I've called repeatedly and was assured they'd be ready the next day. One clerk told me one person ordered 800 photos and used up all their paper. I asked to then transfer the order to another Target or mail order. Told that's not possible. I called today and was told my order didn't exist even though I have a confirmation order and have been calling regularly. Don't use them, save yourself the aggravation. read more

Just left the store and very unhappy with customer service at Starbucks. I asked the lady three times to fix my drink the way I ordered it. She was rude, slopping the coffee and insisting the drink was right. Even asked a fellow customer if the drink look good. I was paying for the drink not the other customer. You need to train your people that the paying customer is right and to make the drinks correctly. Today I went in to return an item. For some reason the item I purchased wasn't registering in their system. Long story short, they had to look up the purchase by the total price of my purchase and the exact date it was purchased on. I was frustrated at first, but the young woman in costumer service, and management went above and beyond to find out the problem and resolve it! I apologized to the young woman in costumer service for letting my mouth slip a bit. I didn't swear or anything, but I was acting bitchy. I'm am extremely grateful for her professional service, and that she and her manager went out of their way to resolve the issue! They made my day! They were busy, and I know my situation was a pain in the butt, but they were awesome, they were gracious, and I am extremely grateful. read more

Specific to the Target Pharmacy, So through this new "covered California" insurance program I have had much difficulty getting my prescription filled. I first went to Nob Hill and had my script there for about 3 weeks.. Apparently a prior authorization was needed which is completely understandable however I received ZERO contact from them in the way of progress. I finally took my script to the Target Pharmacy in Hollister Ca. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Same deal I needed the prior authorization however in light a guy named Karlos who works at the Pharmacy was absolutely helpful. He called me numerous times through out the process keeping me up to date with the status. He called the insurance company, called my doctor's office and finally SUCCESS! I am now heading to pick up the script which is now covered. If it wasnt for Karlos (I believe that is how he spells it) I would still be waiting with no updates nor have any idea of how much longer I would have to wait. THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU! I am now a locked in, loyal and very satisfied customer to this pharmacy simply due to his customer service, keeping me informed and professionalism. I usually love Target! They have great deals and usually good customer service. Tonight, I realized their employees are not all trained and know what they are supposed to know. I went to use a coupon , I had 8 items and 8 coupons for those items. They told me i could only get 1 item with 1 coupon because it said "limit one coupon per purchase". Learn your coupon policy Target. "One coupon per purchase": This means that shoppers can use one coupon per item, with the item considered to be the purchase. For example, if a shopper had 10 identical jars of spaghetti sauce and 10 grocery coupons for that spaghetti sauce, she could use all 10 coupons for her order, which is literally 10 purchases. She could not use 2 manufacturers coupons on the same item if she was only buying one jar of spaghetti sauce because that would be more than "one coupon per purchase." I will be boycotting Hollister Target from now on. read more

My wife tried to buy some shoes that were on sale. The newspaper ad said all shoes 20% off. When she went to the check out the cashier said they were not on sale. The cashier flag down someone and that someone was the assistant store manager. She said that yes the all shoes were on sale, just not those shoes. So my wife said "the ad says all shoes, but the manager said not those shoes. So then my wife said that the gal at the shoe department said those shoes were on sale. The manager said she is wrong and is on break and she cant be bothered. She pretty much left crying thinking that Target and the store manager basically called my wife a lier. So I called Target help line and was given a case number and their response was, "We feel that the ad is correct in saying all shoes on sale just not all shoes of a special type. That was 2 years ago and we will continue to not shop at any Target stores but we will tell people what we went though. read more

Worst target pharmacy ever. I have been filling prescriptions at target for years. Moved out to hollister and it has to be the rudest most incompetent pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Was given the wrong prescription one time and it was a good thing because it was my heart pill. Prescriptions are never ready when they say, sometimes it takes 2 days. Recently the pharmacist left a message to call back and when I called back there were no notes in the computer so I couldn't get an answer as to why they called. There response was oh I'm sorry not sure why we called you. Called twice this past week to check and see if a prescription was ready. They say they never received it. My doctor called the pharmacy and was told they didn't fill it because the Co pay was to high. Should have just told me that instead of telling me it was never received. I would give zero stars if it would let me. Rude employees get mad if the have to do a prior authorization. If you don't like your job find a new one. Would go to wal greens if they took my insurance. Glad most of my scripts are mail order! read more
