I come here because its the closest Target to me. The drive up service is terrible. They messed up my order twice in 2 days. I had to go inside to store to get what I needed defeating the purpose of drive up shopping. The checkers are rude and lazy. I've been bringing my own reusable bags back to the store. Last November one checker was rude and said she wouldn't bag my groceries. I spoke to John store manager who said checkers should be bagging groceries period. Yesterday Marie an older European checker refused to bag my groceries. "You can bag your own groceries. " Her exact words. I called for the manager John and he did her job for her. I also called customer service and spoke to a couple people about her and placed an email complaint to guest relations. There's never a problem at Vons or Sprouts or Trader Joes about reusable bags. When my order was up I asked the barista if it was a caramel latte and he was unsure, even though he was the one who made it..hmmm. The supervisor saw and immediately said she would make another one. I received an email that my order is ready for pick up in Granada Hills after ordering a very good deal of an item. I even have the bar code ready in my target apps. I have been a good client of Target since 2018 and this is the first time that I encountered a very rude person. Her name is Paulina who was in the order pick up counter at Target in 11133 Balboa Blvd. Granada Hills. Paulina was telling me that she cannot give the item as there was a glitch in the price. But why did they process it and even gave me a barcode ready for pick up. Paulina with her rude eyes telling me that she will cancel my order after all my trouble of lining up and waiting not to include the gas and time of me and my husband going to their branch just getting this good deal tfal item. Paulina with all her rudeness even told us that she dont want to talk us anymore. Is that how to handle a client? Her eyes was even roling up while saying I understand your frustration. And when I asked for the manager she said she is the manager OMG I really could not believe that Target would even consider promoting such rude staff who doesnt even know how to handle client with politeness. Saying that corporate is the one who process the order and blaming everything with the system of Target and the corporate, and that she cannot give the item to me unless I pay for the whole regular pice and instead immediately CANCELLED my order in front of me with proud face! There it is now cancel and she cannot do anything about it. Ugh idk who to blame for this. I'm assuming target is at fault for allowing their ice cream to melt and then place them in the freezer for customers to purchase. I literally just got home and was ready to eat some mochi ice cream and when I opened it it revealed a horrific murder scene! This is the first time we have shopped at the Granada Hills Target location. Not our first time shopping at Target. First off, the store was very clean. It offered plenty of parking and very helpful and kind employees. Our first stop was the customer service desk. I asked for the manager David Walker (with no explanation) he arrived with another manager (Andy). They introduced themselves. See, we were here to thank them for their generosity. Apparently, David had donated 50 $100.00 gift cards to my son's elementary school and another 50 $100.00 gift cards to another local school. My son missed out on the big day of shopping, with the other students that were awarded the gift cards, due to illness. They mentioned, they had served snacks to the kids, and offered my son refreshments as well. I thought that was super sweet. It was very nice to be treated so well. My son enjoyed his popcorn as we shopped for new school clothing and school supplies. Thank you David and Andy & Thank you Target, for giving to your community. read more

"Targets new baby return policy ". I had a horrible experience yesterday at target trying to return some baby clothes items without a receipt due to being gifts w/o recipt . I was trying to return some items at customer service with ANNIE which at first she didn't mention targets "NEW" baby return policy that supposedly they aren't returning baby items w/o recipt which when she first looked at the baby items without scanning them made a comment that this isn't from target which I said this is target owned brand ( Cloud Island ) which she proceed to scan and scanned my ID then placed my ID up to see if it was real like that was so unnecessary and came at me with well target doesn't return baby items with out recipt anymore . I left home and called target Corp and gave them my experience which who I spoke to said there no such return policy and that brand she assumed wasn't from target Is a target owned brand which I was advised if you ever go through something like this in the future call target Corp while your at the store so they can reach out to the store while your there ! read more

For all the people complaining, don't. Unless it's about the management who likes to sip free Starbucks with their degrees in everything that has nothing to do with running a store while they sleep on the job. The majority of these employees, no joke, get a penny to ten cent raise yearly. Don't expect great service for any place that is not only understaffed but has employees who are underpaid and overworked. The employees are fine. It's the management and corporation that's the issue. I went in not that long ago, had a question about something and asked to speak to an LOD (manager). No joke, instead of coming out, I had to talk to her on a phone in guest service. My rating is not for the employees but rather, the LODs. read more

I keep trying to give this location a chance. I live around the corner but always end up going to the Northridge location cause it's just as much selection but without the attitude. This morning around 10:30 I came in to return a pillow. I had the pillow in the original packaging and my original receipt. The associate scanned the pillow and told me there's no pillow on my receipt. I literally pointed to the item that said pillow and told her that this is the only pillow I've purchased all year so it's not the wrong item. Upon looking at the item we saw another scannable bar code on the case which worked! I thought problem solved and then she told me that the pillow inside was showing more expensive than the bar code on the casing. I then told her no problem I'll take the lesser amount cause that's what I paid( I only want what I paid back I'm not trying to pull one over and get more money). She then said in a rude tone "for future reference no target is going to accept this return, the item inside is wrong" I then told her that's not my problem and that I would be willing to wait for them to pull up the camera footage of me buying the pillow. It's not my fault that the item I purchased had the wrong pillow inside of it. Their pillows are not sealed in the store. I don't get the attitude and I'm not gaining anything by returning a more expensive item and requesting less money back for it? When I left I said "thank you for your help I appreciate it, have a great day." To which she said nothing and just rolled her eyes. Can't complain about jerk customers when you act this way to customers being nice and trying to resolve an issue calmly. To the man who said not to complain that target doesn't pay them well. You know what it's still a job and there's hundreds of people who need the money and would be thankful for that position. If you can't take pride in your work you'll never move up in life and you don't deserve to. I worked in customer service for years and was thankful for my job because at the time t was either that or be without a job at all and be on the streets. One of the worst targets I have been to. They tend to be out of stock on items more often compared to other ones. The "pick up" process is not even organized, one person had a pick up and the line was held for a long time because the single employee out by the front registers had to go find the customers "pick up" item. The employees tend to be fairly incompetent in the customer service side of the store. This target is very close to my house. I hope their management improves in the near the future so that shopping here can become a better experience. read more

This is a place I feel safe -- this is home. Target has everything you want and more! Nobody ever comes here with a mindset of what they want because once you enter rationality goes out the door. You come in needing pepsi for the BBQ and leave with $5 dvds, a dodgers t-shirt, and a new pillow after five hours of roaming each isle. That's just the way it is, because time stands still here but we don't mind. I love target and I love this target. I have never had a problem here. The employees are always nice and helpful when needed. There is a self checkout service at this location which is honestly perfect to hide the shame of buying everything but the thing you came in to buy. The Starbucks inside is also nice and sleek, there is plenty of seating nearby and even some tables outside. Parking is ridiculously easy, having the ability of parking outside or the garage. read more

One of the worst target locations around. I avoid this location as much as possible because it's a literal dumpster fire. I just waited 25+ minutes for my pick up order that was supposedly ready from the previous day. I arrived at 7:55 am by at 8:20am I finally saw a worker delivering to other cars. Flagged him down and guess what? I waited and waited just to be told they couldn't find my order and to continue waiting while they pull the order off the shelfs. Absolutely ridiculous! I no longer go inside- after the renovations last year it's hard to find items I need. The employees seem to be just as confused as the customers. It's also frustrating that they only have two registers open at a time with long lines at each register and they limit the amount of items you can purchase through self check out. I easily spend $200-300 A WEEK at target however with all the changes they've made I think I'll allocate those funds towards Amazon. read more

EXPIRED GROCERY ITEMS September 2018- Target still selling EXPIRED ITEMS!!!! Bought some campbell sauce and seasoning for my trip overseas and found out that the items I bought in Septemeber 16, 2018 expired in March 2018 and July 2018. Worst thing I was overseas when I saw that these items were expired. They took more space in my luggae only to find out they were expired. Spoke to the supervisor in the store and he said same thing happened to him. Why aren't they trying to correct this issue? Target trying to make profit on expired goods. Can't believe that the supervisor even told me that he was just taking my word, why would I make something up for less than $5. I took pictures as proof and I'm not hauling expired goods back to US to pay airline luggage fees.What kind of customer service is this? I went to target and they were able to refund me for expired goods and gave me $5 for compensation. Supervisor mentioned that it wouldn't kill me to eat expired goods but it wouldn't taste great. I will say yesterday was the worst experience I have ever had at any target . My mom had simply gone to get AirPods with the target circle deal going on . As we asked for help a women with glasses approached us with a horrible attitude. My mom continued to be nice my mom asked for a price match and the lady began to raise a tone and say that she didn't know if that could be done my mom again showed her the phone and she did it to not deal with my mom as we were almost walking away she and another customer began talking and disrespecting my mom as me and my mom heard we asked to speak to the manger and both ladies began to laugh and call my mom names and which created a huge altercation all over a worker with a huge attitude who wasn't having a good day as soon as her supervisor arrived she then tried to act innocent and nice why couldn't she do that since the beginning! As for now yes we will continue to shop since it's our nearest location but we will now know what kind of worker work there I don't blame all workers cause others are very nice but that lady should be removed cause seems she has no good customer service. read more

I kind of miss the old layout, before they started uniforming all the Targets. But now there is more parking, and the place is a lot neater. There are always people soliciting or trying to sell things by the escalator/entrance. That gets to be annoying. Positives - items tend to be in stock - I've come across some real helpful employees - Starbucks inside - returns, long lines BUT they keep the line moving - new snazzy carts (I don't know if you care, but I like them) Negatives - produce is pricier than the grocery store, small selection (compared to other Targets), fruit is either extremely not ripe or past its prime. - checkout lines. Be prepared to wait! The lines are long, an average of 4 cashiers open. Lines are about 15 people long each! read more

Went to this Target to do the Cat and Jack warranty of my sons out grown clothes and worn out ones. The 2 female workers and manager Yasmine a short rude blonde girl. Right away didn't want to help me and demanded a receipt when it shows online on the cat and Jack warranty policy that if I don't have a receipt they can do a card look up. I have 1 year to exchange as well. Horrible horrible manager. Said they don't do exchanges anymore. They dont even follow their own cat and Jack warranty policy's. As I entered Target, I went up the escalators which was a little different. I found my items easily and used the self checkout. Literally have everything. Ok, not everything but almost. This store offers everything from home goods, pantry/frozen foods, just all sorts of products. Lines are usually an issue. Generous amount of parking. Even with the self check out lines are still an issue. The employees are helpful. Isles are well organized and the setup works. Don't usually see a mess when I've been. Great store. Large variety of products. Also they DO NOT have Lysol brand wipes. Which I prefer over other brands. read more

I felt compelled to write a review on this store from my experience with them today. With all this Corona virus insanity. They managed to keep things under control and in an orderly fashion. Kudos for them pro warning people that they are zero tolerance for chaotic shoppers and would escort them if they acted in such a way. Plenty of parking with or without cover. Every time I visit, I have not had any issues with finding a parking spot. With the way the entrance is designed its ideal to park in any spot surrounding the entrance. When entering you can either take the escalator or elavator, which ever your needs maybe. When you walk in, you have your typical dollar item section to welcome you. Your restrooms, guest services, photo stand, and to the left Starbucks, which I wish every Target had. Getting a cart is never an issue here as well. Whoever the cart attendant is, they do a great job. When getting your cart, you may want to wipe it down with a anti bacterial wipe, just to play it safe, which we do all the time since we have two kids. Shelves here are always fully stocked, and I have never had an issue of getting an item on my shopping list. At times the lines to check out may seem long, but they always accommodate and open a new register when lines get too long. Don't forget to bring your own bags or they charge $0.10 per bag they supply you. read more

The staff look very unprofessional with face piercings, tattoos exposed and not natural hair colors, such as blue and pink. The staff is always sitting around talking to each other and joking. In addition they are annoyed if you interrupt their personal conversation, even the mAnagers act and look the same. The store is disheveled and cramped. If it was not for the prices I would never go to Target, maybe I can try Walmart since are lower priced and the staff and stores look the same. read more

Tbh, I know this target like the back of my hand. I know where everything is located and it's been my go to target for yearsssss. However they're horrible at restocking their merchandise. Not only during this pandemic but even before that. I don't have this location right around the corner. I have to travel 15 min to it and to end up being disappointed at the end because there's nothing that I'm looking for in stock is super frustrating. I went in for white nail polish and mascara (things that aren't essential) and it was all wiped out. The pandemic has been going on for almost 3 months now, you mean to tell me there's no white nail polish in stock or in the back?? I just don't understand what their policy is in restocking. Store manager allows whole family with school age kids to come in without masks. When asked, he said he can't enforce it in this store. Problem #1. Your store and you do not have any creative ways to enforce city mandated masks? How about signage "No masks no service?"...in all language. How about security? Oh, btw the empty mask box does help. Perhaps your staffs who are standing around...lots of them. At least 1 could now and then peak at the box and replace a full one. Such simple solution yet no practical actions. SO what DO you say during those TEAMS meeting?? Problem #2. You let people especially kids come in to sneeze and cough on your merchandise so that your staff and patrons get sick. Masking enforcement will prevent this. Failure in masking is why your workers are dropping off due to positive covid. In addition, this is why your store's dressing rooms has to be closed. How inconvenient? Problem #3. If your store's dressing room is closed, then shouldn't you staff 2-3 clerks at the Return counter? Not just one? You have proven that whoever run this store including its staffs are NON TEAM MEMBER and care CLUELESS to keep ourselves and your patron SAFE. I love Target, though I do think over the years they have increased their prices and it's not much different from any other store... This Target is nice, clean, and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good place to shop for what ever you need... Wait wait wait... 4 stars? You ask why 4 stars..?? Well their inventory is not as good as other Targets. For instance I went to get diapers and they don't have the medium quantity set. So I either had to purchase 35 or 150... Same with wet naps... They didn't have the large quantity set... I've never seen other targets really fun short on stuff.. So I knocked off one star... Otherwise a great place to shop! read more
