Nothing against the company, I don't live in Fargo yet but this store has been my go to since visiting. Though it has more items to choose from apart from my hometown Target, this store just seems so crowded. There are support beams in the middle of the end of the isles and people everywhere, the grocery section is crammed into one side of the store and EVERYONE is over there at the same time. We came here on a mission to find a few items and ended up being here for 20 minutes longer than we wanted. We found most of what we needed, but self checkout lines were slow and kind of a pain. I didn't realize there was a regular checkout on the other side of the building. Their signage could be improved! read more

I was here getting a few items and went over to the ulta section to look. I selected a couple of ulta brand lipglosses and went to leave the section and the lady working told me I had to buy my items there. I had a few others things that weren't from the ulta section so I was confused as to why I had to do that. I told her I wasn't done looking and she said I had to leave the items there. when I was done she escorted me up to the cash register. I did absolutely nothing wrong and had no intent to steal so this experience was greatly upsetting to me. I think from now on I will just stick to Walmart where I know I will not be discriminated against. read more

Went into bathroom at 13th ave Target, Fargo. There was TP all over the floor. An employee came in while I was washing my hands, signed the inspection sheet on the door before inspecting, peeked in the stalls including the one that I noticed was dirty..and walked out. 2/12/25 at 12:04. Quick visit inside again to see if I could grab some supplies, and found a few, toothpaste up front, the soda in the back ($10 for 4 10-packs was nice), and picked up some gifts for the people I was visiting, and a reasonably good selection of Pokemon cards for one young man who loves them. A shop that still has photo machines up front to print your orders. Checkout was a bit on the slow side but the person scanning was pretty cheerful. Looking for staff was a little bit of an effort (they don't staff as much to save money?) but eventually found someone that helped me find a couple things. Starbucks up front. The parking lot has entries off 45th and 13th, but depending on which way you need to go, check out the lights and watch your directions (the streets are divided on 13th). read more

The worst drive up experience of my life. Do not use the drive up service ever! I have had a good experience with the drive up in Moorhead and in the Minneapolis area. The Fargo one sucks. We waited for an hour for our one bag of things we ordered. Ended up just leaving my because we couldn't wait anymore. read more

Covid check OUT. Early morning is to be reserved for elderly and people with health issues. That wasn't the problem at 0800 on a Sunday.. the CHECKING OUT was the issue!!!! The ONLY check out was CLOSING and I was forced to get "funneled" through a walled area., trapped in self check out, close contact, no air flow with the walls of self check out. They were NOT going every other self check out like other places... soo all these self check outs were FULL. Than people passing right by you and next to you.... at least if a couple REGULAR check outs were open, you would NOT be side by side at any time. There would also be, barriers BETWEEN you and the next sides... on either side. In addition, with employees let go or reduced in hours... why not at least have 2 regular check outs open. Most all were wearing masks.. but some NOT covering there nose. read more

The women's bathroom has been in disrepair and disgusting for as long as I remember. At least 5 years. Every time I go in there there is toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor. It smells like poop every single time. It's gross. The rest of the Target is wonderful. Just fix the bathroom and clean it more than once a month, every few hours if you have to. read more

The management sucks! I got let go for no reason at all. I show up and was told to go home. I asked why and just said to go home. Don't work for this Target. They don't know how to treat employees. I'd give a ZERO STAR if I could read more

Stopped here for a pit stop during our road trip. A pretty big sized Target with ample checkers. Looked like they kept aisles cleaned and well-stocked. Their typical Starbucks inside was quick and efficient. All around, great spot to stop. read more

Stopped at Target due to a problem with the phone we originally purchased at another Target in California. We were able immediately to find the Target Mobile help desk in the electronics section and someone to answer our questions--our problem was complicated and involved a lot of calling back and forth to Virgin Mobile's main center, which had to be done on the store phone, but both employees who helped us were willing to spend all the necessary time and trouble to figure out our issue and fix it even though other customers needed help at the same time. No one seemed impatient or annoyed and both employees seemed to know what they were doing rather than just reacting with ''Uuuhhhh...let me get my manager''. Our problem was explained and resolved and we left satisfied. Also on the same trip we found bananas, orange juice, maruchan cup-of-soups, and saltine crackers on sale for a reasonable price, so we left satisfied in two ways. read more

A few months ago I experimented with Target's drive-up/curbside ordering process, for the first time. When I received my order I was missing a bunch of items, only to check the Target app where the employees canceled my items in the name of "items not in-stock". I was never informed, texted or called, for replaceable items. Today, three hours ago, I placed a home delivery Target order (for the first time) only to find out that they don't have half of their items in stock: coffee creamer, lettuce, tea bags, and milk (-$15 their loss). Moral of the story, if you want grocery items do not rely on Target stores to have accurate inventory levels reflecting their online systems. I would rather shop at Walmart than to give Target another chance. At least Walmart will substitute your missing items with another item at no additional cost. Target will just cancel your items, and won't even apologize. Lol What a joke. read more

Target has everything. What can I say, I love this place. I love looking for the items that give you moneyback on the purchase. That gift card that I get, gives me a reason to come back! I like the variety of vegan milk and meat replacements. The staff is friendly and helpful and the prices are fair. read more

I love target products, and the staff here is very friendly. The downside to this target is that it is always busy! With that being said, the isles are not the cleanest, the isles aren't promptly restocked with missing items, lines are usually pretty long and the bathrooms are rather dirty. Since my move out this way I find myself going to target less often because of my unhappiness with this store. read more

I've always loved target, and recently they've been stepping up their game. Things have been reorganized to be easier to shop, and displays have been updated by a lot. The beauty department got a face lift (pun intended) with new shelving and so many new products and brands. The target app was updated to include items locations and if it's in stock. I would love to give Target 5 Stars, and maybe someday I'll be able to boost it. I love shopping at Target stores, and Target.com has some great features, such as order online pick up in store. Overall target usually has what I need and too much of what I want. ;-) My 3 star rating reflects my biggest frustration with this location. The lack of overall staffing and re-stocking of products. This is one of the busiest Targets I've been in (including downtown Chicago) and it doesn't even matter what day, time, or season. It can be like Black Friday any Friday. This is awesome for Target but frustrating as a customer. If I can't purchase what I need on a regular basis because it's sold out I might try the Moorhead store, but usually go to Costco, or Walmart instead. The other source of frustration is checking out. There are never enough registers open - and it's usually 4-5 people in each line. 90% of the time I don't mind waiting, but once in a while I'll go on my lunch break try to pick up something quick but there's nothing quick about it. So yes I love Target and even this store has a fantastic selection. But I'd boost it to 5 stars if they would figure out how to handle the customer volume. read more

This Target is better the Walmart and has a good all around selection. Prices are good on sale, but just about everything I've ever bought from Target had been destroyed and trashed or needs to be thrown away. I only go there because the girls in my life love it and talk me into shopping with them. It is a very nice looking fun store to shop at, but product prices are not that great for the mileage you get out of them. I've found the staff to be friendly yet very busy due to the traffic this store experiences. It's fun to go to with friends but I'm always ready to leave before I checkout with an occasional movie, a random thing I don't need, and a few groceries which is all I buy these days from Target. Target sales pitches can get to be annoying as well at this store and you can really tell the company is overly sale oriented right now if you happen to overhear the staff communications. You don't get all the pretty colors or that Targetesque shopping atmosphere but I'd much rather go to mom and pop shops in my own time, or a less busy store, like Walgreens, Costco, etc... read more
