It was either that I looked like I couldn't afford a diamond ring (I was dressed in sweats running my errands) or he can't tell the difference between a fake and a flawless diamond. Personally, I don't know which is worse. I drove the 3.5 hours to Edina, MN to have it sized at Tiffany's. I will never go there again.

Fortunately you can still use coins and there is a machine to exchange bills. There is an option for dropping off laundry to be washed for you. There are lockers to drop them off at for contactless drop off/pickup. There's a small play area for children in a corner and a vending machine for snacks. The place was a bit messy with trash about the floor even though plenty of trash bins are around and empty. The machines weren't particularly clean, so I used paper towels to clean the edges of the machines before pulling my laundry out to avoid getting that gunk on it. Adequate amount of seating and folding tables. There's a lot of outlets and free WiFi available. Although there are signs saying no soliciting/loitering/panhandling there was a patron taking up a large area with a shopping cart and other personal items strewn about sleeping initially. He later followed another patron to the door and asked to be given one of the blankets he had, mentioning that the ground gets cold at night All in all and good place to bring larger items to wash and dry. I would def just wipe down machines and stay nearby to keep an eye on your items.

On the grounds used to be a Disc & Play that bought old records from you; I'm not sure if it's still there, I'll have to swing around to see next time.

The mall is a shell of what it once was, and it never really was much when I was a kid back in the 80s. You've got Herbergers, Vic's Bar & Grill, and then what? This mall is basically the reason why downtown Moorhead became the eyesore that it currently is.
