Another time, i brought in a chronograph watch, for a battery replacement. They stalled the installation, acting like it was a 30 minute fix, when actually, it was a 5 minute procedure, of replacing the battery, & then momentarily ground, the battery, to the watch case, to reset & start, the chronograph.

Even if you're not looking for a luxury Swiss watch, this is still the only place you're going to find any mechanical watches in this town. Every other store that carries watches here is strictly limited to quartz "fashion" pieces. If you're a watch guy, this is the only local place to get the real deal.

I wore it everyday until it stopped running in about 1982. At the time I couldn't afford to have it fixed so I placed it in a box for safe keeping. Over the years every time I'd look at it I thought about having it repaired. Well, now its 2021 and I just received the watch back from Scott, he did a complete service and crystal replacement and the watch looks and runs great. I would recommend him if you're looking to have your watch serviced. By the way, I married that girlfriend in 1978, she's been my best friend ever since.
