Cases of exquisite pieces from Rolex, John Hardy, Forevermark, just to name a few, sparkle and shine throughout the store. The atmosphere is not intimidating; it reminded me of a museum, where the carefully curated art pieces, under watchful eye, are allowed to be caressed by the patrons. During our tour, we were asked if we wanted to try on a Rolex. It was beautiful, rose gold, with diamonds around the face and cost as much as my current vehicle. A girl can dream. I took an $11,000 diamond ring from Tiffany & Co. into the downtown Wimmers to have it sized. The…read moreguy helping me (One of the Wimmer brothers) looked at it under the scope and told me it was a cubic zirconia. It is VVS grade diamonds- with no flaws. It was either that I looked like I couldn't afford a diamond ring (I was dressed in sweats running my errands) or he can't tell the difference between a fake and a flawless diamond. Personally, I don't know which is worse. I drove the 3.5 hours to Edina, MN to have it sized at Tiffany's. I will never go there again.
