This location is beautiful, with three stories and even has groceries. BUT LET ME TELL YOU. I am in utter disbelief what happened to me yesterday (yes, I gave myself 24 hours to calm down from this situation).
So I was having a busy morning and needed to grab a quick present for my grandma and so I stopped by the mall because I had to buy some other things there anyway. As I was checking out the cashier, Roelle (I don't know if that's how it's spelled exactly, but prononced ROW-ELLE), had asked me to sign up for a REWARDS card that would give me 5% off every time I use it and track my points for me. trusting him I filled out all this information and when the question for credit or debit popped up I asked, "ummm.. what is this?" and he replied, "just pick credit you'll be fine." I, not thinking I would be lied to, obliged. Then he handed me a pamphlet telling me about all the rules and regulations of a CREDIT card. UUUMMMMM THIS IS NOT A REWARDS CARD. I was in shock, but then I started thinking, "oh well I need to build credit anyway, so maybe I should keep it." Then I read the terms and looked into their interest rate and realized Target wouldn't be the best for me, but I had to drive to San Diego and didn't want to necessarily handle the situation exactly then when I had other responsibilities.
This is where I started to get HEATED. I called the number to cancel the application, but I couldn't get through to the server without a card. So I called the NCF Target and the operator picked up and had me talk to Chloe. Everyone all seemed very confused on how to handle the situation. Chloe had me call the same number that asked for my card. Chloe was great trying to fix her coworkers mistake. But when I realized I wouldn't be able to get passed the recording on the number she gave me, I called them back. THREE TIMES THEY REJECTED MY CALL. THREE TIMES. I even used my brother's phone and they picked up and the "operator" answered and when she realized it was me asking to speak with Chloe, SHE HUNG. UP. ON. ME.
I left San Diego and went BACK to the Target and went straight to customer service and as I walked I saw the cashier that falsely distributed information to me and who I assumed was Chloe. I went to the counter and approached Brenda, who I assumed was the operator that hung up on me. I confronted her without attacking her and before I could call for the manager Chloe came to assist me.
We ended up getting through the recording on the number and I spoke to a man that led me to Vincent. Vincent handled my situation, but informed me that because I was rejected for the credit card my credit score would be affected... Okay for some reason this number follows and destroys you for when you want to buy things like a car or a house... yea. I didn't want my credit score to be touched by this. So now I have to fill out all these papers and submit it to the tax bureau because of Target.
And when I asked Chloe for her co-workers name she said she couldn't give it to me because it was private information??? read more
