I love Target, I really do. I'm from Central Virginia, and Target was literally across the street from my college. I could drive there in under 3 minutes. It was a good quality alternative to. Walmart, which was always scrungy and hugely irritatingly crowded. And it was cheaper then standard drugstores like Walgreens and CVS. But here. I can never find what I'm looking for, because apparently they can't keep merchandise stocked as quickly as it sells. Gone are friendly sales associates. Actually, gone are associates of any personality. Because there is no WalMart, Target gets the hugely irritating crowds. And frankly, Duane Reade's prices are competitive. To top it off, I have to cross 19 lanes of traffic, carrying my goods, to get to the bus to return home. Its not worth the irritation to maybe save a few $$. *sigh* read more

Bleh Targets are usually great but this one lacks in stock. It is also crowded and messy. The food section is okay. For those of you who mostly buy packaged and processed foods, Target probably has what you need. The "fresh" section is nothing compared to a normal grocery store, could barely find what I needed. Would suggest parking on the top of the parking garage, more spaces closer to the entrance. There are two entrances since this Target has two levels, check-out is available on both. Starbucks AND food area are on the second level. read more

Horrible Customer Service! I had to call a manager since I was damned sure they had the item I wanted, even after the rude staff had snapped at me that they didn't. Y'know, I've decided I don't need it that bad after all, but it gives me a sort of perverse joy to have made them work for 15 minutes to get someone to answer a radio (I heard everything that was said, since no one hung up the phone). Came here to return an item, waited in line downstairs because we were buying more items and they said to do an exchange you have to go upstairs. Ok fine, I asked them if we can just buy the items upstairs too since we will be getting a store credit and we can use that towards the other few items we had. They said YES. Now we get upstairs and it's a whole other story. Gustavo said we can not purchase any new items with our return that we have to go to self checkout which the line is a mile long. We already waited in two long lines. I asked for a manager and he said they were busy and can't come. He didn't even try to call. Why couldn't he just ring up my few items I had that the other employee downstairs said they would be able to do. They are obviously not on the same page here since one employee said yes and the other said no. HORRIBLE customer service here!! Don't come here if you need to make a return or exchange. I have to admit that when I moved into my new apartment post undergrad Target was not my first choice for fixing up my apartment. I usually go here to purchase household supplies such as non perishable food and cleaning essentials However, I was pleasantly surprised with the how targets home section had primarily everything I needed to furnish my living room and kitchen. The Home section has a serious of very elegant yet inexpensive dining sets with various themes. I was able to stock up on utensils with there selection of discount stainless steel individual pieces on sale under $5.00. Everything from fancy laundry bins to funky laps was all within my reach at a pretty good price. If I had went to another store to purchase all of these items at once, first I wouldn't be able to and more than half of these items would have totaled over $500, far higher than what I paid at Target. read more

Marisa Tomei is an academy award winner who is known for playing Aunt May. Marisa from Target should be called Aunt Nay because she is of no use. I am a luddite who has never had a bud light, which is why I went to target that night looking for a SD card, not a fight. Lo and behold, the SD cards were ensconced behind an impregnable magnetic apparatus that could only be open sesamed by three individuals: Ian McKellen, Michael Fassbender or Marisa. She had a mirthful smile so I decided to approach her with the intention of requesting the removal of a SD card I needed to purchase for my mother, the woman who gave birth to yours truly. I was taken aback by her lack of couth as her smile underwent an instantaneous metamorphosis and her eye rolls indicated that I was an encumbrance to her circumference. She decided to traipse and saunter her way to the SD card kiosk. When she returned, I realized I had chosen the wrong one and asked her to please give me the one with more gigabytes. My attempt to placate the situation by apologizing for the inconvenience I caused was met with a lugubrious frown and sigh. Despite the galling experience I endured, I harbor no ill will, shout out to Nas. I am not writing this with schadenfreude or with the intent of getting revenge. But I must reveal how Marisa's lackadaisical way of treating humans is not right, and she deserves to be put on notice ignominiously. Sigmund Freud would label her as an incorrigible and stubborn individual who is essentially an agglomeration of the things we as a society have labeled antiquated. The racist attitudes shall not be tolerated in 2019. I call a spade a spade, it just is what it is. Going forward, I hope target vets its employees properly and doesn't forget the importance of making its guests feel welcomed and not discriminated against. read more

The people who work at this store are very good; they don't make a lot of money but they really try hard to give good service and they do. My problem is and has been with the food buyer in this store since they remodeled the food department. Today I went to the frozen food section and looked for turkey burger--not a single pack available. This has happened with frozen raw shrimp and other items. Hey food purchaser, take a walk down your aisles and wake up. You should have a check list and I think a 6th grader can do better. There's enough fancy items there, but first you have to supply the basic items. Once again the people on the floor do a great job and the people who work "off the floor" need to do better. read more

This place is an absolute joke! We had an appointment with our 5 month old Scheduled for 5:40 and didn't get seen till 7:30! Almost two hours after our appointment. They were so rude when we checked in they couldn't give us an eta. The young lady at the desk who was also the picture taker calling her a photographer would be a compliment. She told us come back in 40 mins we came back and waited another hour! By this time my 5 month old was getting hungry and tired.. No apology for long wait or anything! Come to find out they didn't even have a CD to put the pictures on.. Their answer was " the manager forgot to order them" So I waited almost two hours to be told I can't even take home my pictures today! I have to wait 2 weeks! I feel so bad I dragged my husband and baby out here. When it was time to get our actual pictures taken the girl who was taking them was on her cell phone complaining about another customer that was before us. She threw a book at me and said "here pick a background" and proceeded with her conversation. No manners what so ever. The pictures came out terrible. I captured a better one with my iPhone . It's a real shame. I wasn't the only person unhappy with the lack of customer care and service there were several unhappy customers. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

Definitely don't recommend coming here. I came for my maternity shoot, which was definitely a mistake on my part. I had called and sent in a picture of a pose I wanted for my shoot. The lighting was different so I wanted to make sure that it could be done. The "photographer" said they could do it so I booked and came to my appointment. Half way through the shoot the "photographer" tells me they actually can't take that shot because they don't have the equipment there. So I wasted my time getting ready and coming out to get pictures that I didn't want. Why would they not tell me I can't have the shot when I specifically asked ahead of time for a reason. I also tried to contact target twice about the matter and have received no response. Spend some more money and go with people that care. read more

Pros: -It exists -It has a lot of stuff. -Prices are affordable Meh: -Staff is dumb (don't ask them to do something complicated like a baby register or something, check what they're doing when they scan your gift cards, check if the lane is open when you go over even though there are people there) -Wrong products on the wrong shelves in front of the wrong prices. Check the prices of your at the self scanners before going to checkout Cons: -The cons that comes with opening a store close to the ghettos...the customers... Other: -Target prices are in general cheaper than Walgreens/DR, however when there are sales (at both stores), Walgreens tends to have better deals. So before you pay for something at Target, check the Walgreens price. There's a Walgreens along Broadway, a five minute walk away. -Target was the victim of a credit card hack. Good to know if you want to apply for a Target Redcard. Also, always pay with cash or gift cards. read more

If i have to pay 4 dollars to park just to shop in Target, i'd rather pay for a parking in Manhattan and get the best of classy city shopping. They are slow in the cashier, typical low-class customer service. They don't validate your parking ticket if you spent 30 min or more in the store and even if you have spent money in shopping and in groceries. And they don't label items properly with corresponding prices. I had to check out twice because their system went down on the 2nd level. Such a lousy place to shop! Very inconvenient! This is a nice Target. Good location too. They redid some of their store aisles recently and everything is much neater and better organized. The toy aisle is no longer a disaster! I really love Target. I go in for one thing and come out spending $100 (Oh, I didn't know I needed new ovenmitts until i saw these hot pink polka dot ones...) I don't like that the $1 bin here is out of the way on the second floor. I've been to other targets that have it right as you walk in the door so you're right away spending money on stuff you didn't realize you needed until then (hello kitty notepad anyone?) Also, the bathrooms. Someone help them. They are always dirty but at the same time I frequently feel like they are closed for cleaning so not quite sure how that works. Probably my biggest issue with this target is the baskets. So many times I go in and find no baskets at all and none to be seen anywhere. Get more baskets!! Some of the staff can be less than approachable but I'm not gonna gripe on them. DO NOT go here on a weekend if you can help it. There will be nothing on the shelves (especially if its on sale) and the amount of people and children in there will just leave you exhausted and irritated. read more

This target is pretty big and clean. It's def. cleaner than the target in the south bronx. They have a lot of products, and it gets really crowded on the weekend, but I like to go and stock up. read more

Went to this location to pick up one thing. Wasn't on the shelf and asked a sales person if it was in the back storage. After waiting 30 minutes, I found the sales person and again and asked if he had it. Turns out it was in the back waiting to be brought out by another sales person. He apologized and didn't let me wait on line...even gave me a a discount! Super nice. I was excited to not have to wait on line....the discount was a bonus. Thanks!! read more

I came here to pick up an item that was on sale for 2 days only. The sell started yesterday so I figured I'll go on the date the sells starts to ensure I get what I came for. When I located what I was looking for they had ran out; a sales associate was nice enough to check the inventory to see if their were any more in the back their wasn't but I was offered a rain check. This was a Christmas present so I asked would I receive the rain check in time for Christmas. The sale associate was up front and let me know there was no guarantee that in would be in stock by Christmas. The sale associate directed me to another product that was similar to what I came to purchase and it was the same price. The sales associate and cashier were very nice and courteous. read more

average target with average quanties of stock available. always a mess towards the end of the day. i came two hours before closing and boy, it was a MESS. clothes all over the place, goods scattered all over the place, workers chatting instead of working, etc. it's the closest target from me and i've been coming here forever so there is no bias when i say that today was a rough day for target and its employees at this location. i got what i needed and self checkout was smooth so that's the saving grace for this read more

This is my go to Target. It's the closest to my house. I wish they would validate parking for free but I guess you can't have everything. It's usually pretty busy in the evening after work hours and definitely on the weekends. I recommend shopping on the non-peak hours if possible. Since it's very busy here it's not always organized but I can usually find what I'm looking for. I shop here at least once every 2 months for all my household necessities. Especially when Target mails me a booklet of coupons! read more

It's pretty chaotic in here. The last time I went, they were reorganizing their shelves and moving stock from the first floor to the second. But I've been here plenty of times. It's really messy in this target. You usually get your low price target materials of what you need, but when you CAN'T find what you need, that's the problem. Sometimes they don't have what you need because it's all gone and they need to restock. So when you come here for something, somethings are gone really fast. There are long lines sometimes when you are here especially on the weekends. read more

I shop here for everything, even some grocery items. Granted their grocery selection is not the best stocked. They are conveniently close to me though which makes it easier for me to shop here. Their downfall in my opinion would be customer service. They have the kind of staff here that answers your questions with "oh, I'm not in that department so I don't know" or "that should be over there." read more

If I could give Zero stars, I would! I called to confirm if they had a tv in stock and spoke to a woman by the name of Sky. She tells me the store has 5 left. I asked if she can PLEASE physically check to verify it is in stock (because I understand that they're can be discrepancies in the system.) she says if I don't mind waiting on hold she will go and check for me personally. I told her I don't mind waiting on hold as long as it'll take to be certain they had the tv I was looking for seeing as how I'm traveling from another borough. After being on hold for 20mins. Sky comes back to the phone and says "yes we have the five right here on the floor. I can put your name on one of them and hold it for you until you come in later today" she proceeds to take my first and last and told me she'll attach it to the box and that I'm all set. After finding my way to queens blvd target and to the electronics section where I was told the tv with my name will be held; I'm greeted with an employee who says that tv has been sold out since last Thursday. (An entire week ago.) that tells me that sky played me for a fool and didn't do anything she claimed she did. After speaking the the manager, the situation only got worse. Anna claims she is the top manager of the entire store and that there is nothing or no accommodations that can be made for me given this inconvenience and quite frankly, dismissed me.. using the term "I'm stating you the facts, nothing can be done" and "I'm ending this conversation" Needless to say, the worst experience I've ever had in a retail establishment, period! read more
