I haven't been here in years, but the past recent visits I was pleasantly surprised. The area itself needs much work. The parking lot is weirdly organized with streets routed into the actual spots (which can be confusing). Additionally, it is consistently dirty and filled with trash all over. However, the inside of the store is quite clean and well managed. They look to be remodeling and bringing in new products similar to the Bowie location. I've ordered many items here for pickup and the service I was received was great. The only thing I would recommend is a few more registers opened where possible because they tend to have long lines. I'm hoping the recent updates to this location begin a trend of renovating the other surrounding areas, particularly the exterior which could use a good power washing and re-pavement of the roadways and finally some good landscaping. Target is a big draw to this area - particularly the only thing worth visiting that mall. I hope it gets redone soon kind of line the Springfield Mall revitalization. There are a lot of other shops near the area that would generate more revenue. (also get rid of that funky azz raw bootyjuice smell in the mall. Went in once, about faced with the quickness. So I will say that I am a person of second chances and do not always prejudge on first encounters. I am a frequent stalker of Target stores in general and love their products and great shopping vibe experiences. This specific target in the past has been fine with me for the most part but the lines are what irritated me the most. They never seem to have enough staff to check people out and even there self checkout was always over run with people. As of today 10/23/18 I am happy to report that Target actually, seems to listen to what their customers want!!!! This store first off, has some updates in their clothing, accessories, shoes, skincare and makeup sections that are great!!! I could not believe at how much their beauty section has changed they have so many different interesting brands to choose from and house all natural up and coming brands too! Also after my last visit it seems that their crowd control of checkout lines had improved because I had no wait!! So I'm very please to report that the upgrades have brought this store up to standards in my book and you will enjoy it!!! read more

There is nothing more disappointing then to go to the store to buy something on sale, just to find 2 of the 4 left on the shelf were damaged. What a bummer! read more

They get 2 stars because I love Target. But this store needs major work. There are a lot of team members just existing. No one really there to help you and then, when you do ask, it's almost offensive to them that you asked a question. Going forward, I will either order online and just do a mass pick up there (which will limit my impulse shopping) or go to another location. I did contact the Store Manager Jerry today about my concerns. He shared he would discuss it in a Leadership meeting but it would have been nice if he actually took my contact information. read more

It is often we write a review when our experience is negative. However, today was by far the best experience I've had with Target. Entering I was greeted by several associates. As I walked to check out with my five items, my intentions were to go through self-checkout. To my surprise, I noticed five open lines (empty-no customers 12:15 pm) with associates smiling at me. I felt that were begging for me to choose their line to check-out. The young lady's line I chose to go through was eager and excited to help me. She introduced me to the Target app and gave me a detailed tutorial. This experience made me a customer for life and I will spread the word. The best Target is in Forestville, Maryland. read more

I go to this target in the middle of the day hoping it would not be crowed and I could get in and out quickly....Nope! not the case...I get to the checkout line and there are 2....yes I said TWO registers open...the lines are ridiculously long. When I get closer to the cashier, I hear her calling on her walkie talkie at least 3 times begging for some other associates to jump on a register...but no one is answering her...I felt bad for the poor girl, she was doing the right thing asking for help, but none of her co-workers and/or managers cared enough to help....this looks like a poor management problem read more

I'm a huge fan of Target. However, this particular store is bottom of the barrel when it comes to customer service.

The grocery section could use some improvement but it is the typical Target experience.

This rating is just for the electronics department. I guess they just gave up on inventory.

Let me tell you guys about my experience at Target today. I was looking for Rachel Platten's CD WILDFIRE and I had asked an associate but he said that he couldn't help me because he didn't work at that department in an High disrespectful tone, He directed me to another associate and the girl was very nice and didn't complain she said that they didn't have it according to her system but they had a whole bunch of new releases in the back that never get put out whenever I go there an associate has to go to the back of the store and get the new album releases whenever they come out. Then the guy gave me and my family member a "I'M GOING TO FIGHT YOU" type of look and personally I might as well just go to another target with good customer service read more

Went to this Target again yesterday all because it's close to my place of employment. I am not sure if the employees understand thst you do not walk in front of customers while they are looking at item that help pay their salary. This store needs someone to come in and teach customer service. However, there is a young man light complexion with dreads. This young man is always polite and very helpful. Worst customer service when it comes to needing help with something. The workers stand amongst themselves and chat when it's clear you have a question or need help with something. Too bad Walmart isn't around..Target never has their shelves full or anything in stock regardless of which day you go. read more

i must say, i was a lil nervous going to this target but they keep the place CLEAN. including the bathroom. The bathroom is always clean and smell good. this target also have great sales and mark downs. you can walk in and find great clearance items. read more

My goodness!!! They have the worst customer service. There are so many people working here but yet they only have 2 registers open. Most of the cashiers act like they do not want to be there as I have had several cashiers go on break while still ringing up my items. When I ask for an associate for help in finding something, they don't know so they hand me off to someone else, who then hands me off to someone else, rinse and then repeat. This location never has what's in the weekly circular. I only go to this location because it is close to my house. Lately, I have been traveling 20 miles out because 1) I know I'll get better customer service and 2) I know I will find better selection. Parking is stupid at this location as it is always sparse in nature. Their electronics section, in particular, is subpar. They never have what is on display. Smh... it ok if you need diapers and wipes... and maybe some juice! read more

Customer service is at an all time low here. One of the most ghetto stores I have ever went to. I'm sure it doesn't help that it's connected to Forestville mall. The store never has anything you need in stock and if you ask for help it's like pulling teeth. I wouldn't recommend this target to anyone read more

Amazing experience in Target ...with Robert he was extremely helpful..I was looking for Wilton's candy melts I had been in the store looking this item for a few then I came across Robert he walk with me trying to help me find the Candy Melts for the next few mins then he went in the computer to see if the had it. Unfortunately the store doesn't carry this product, but Robert was very helpful and even apologized for not having the product and told me he wish could have he'll me find the item cause he knows how high gas is and he hates when he gets to a store and they don't have it (empathized) excellent customer service Robert. read more

I go to this Target often because it is so close to my house. I also like that it's never really super crowded like some other locations. The store always seems to be clean and fairly well stocked. The customer service is just okay. Many times items i buy ring up at a price lower than what is marked on the shelf, but of course i don't mind that lol. Overall its a good store in an otherwise pretty unappealing shopping mall. read more

Diamond at the Guest services desk is incredibly rude and very ghetto. I went in to pay my red card bill and when i swipped my card the reader said please wait. She looked at it and her exact words were "you pressed the wrong one, its frozen now you gotta do it again cuz you messed it up." I literally did not press one button.
