Great customer service and product knowledge. Asya was a great specialist that helped us as we viewed the pieces.

Great customer service. I purchased quality wallpaper from Wills. My project came out beautifully,…read moreconsidering I haven't wallpapered in over 30 years. I highly recommend this store. I highly recommend this store for its high-quality products and outstanding customer service.

Guess who just got new blinds and shades installed, YAY! I kept the ones I moved into the house…read morewith, and since then, they had to be moved (when I got new windows), resulting in some fitting differently. I also got a cat that (by accident) broke some of the blinds panels... and in other instances, the blinds just stopped opening because the mechanisms broke. So I've been thinking about getting new blinds for quite a while, and I knew I wanted it to be something sturdier than the classic thin beige ones. I did some research, and realized the kind of blinds I wanted, but also learned that they could only be purchased through certain distributors. It seemed like a perfect opportunity to support a small local business, so that's how I stumbled upon Wills Decorating. I arrived one early afternoon and the place really did feel like a mini Lowes or something, hahaha. The man behind the counter was wrapping things up with another customer. I took the time to explore and I immediately found the blinds I had in mind. But I also saw these cool looking shades that could be opened from the bottom... AND top. And they had this cool honeycomb shape, I was intrigued! When the man was done, I found it his name was Michael, and he is one of the owners, and he's local local! He grew up near the same community I currently live. So we talked about blinds and shades, and we arranged for the co-owner, Valerie, to call me so we could schedule time for her to come over. Within a week she came, and I made some decisions that I am so delighted with now that the project is done. We discussed colors, I told her what my plans were for painting -- she was VERY efficient and professional. And she was also very friendly, willing to chat about my vision and give recommendations. Days later, she followed up with a quote and we made it happen. I had to pay half once I decided to move forward, and then the other half after installation. Another person, Dave, came and did the installation at every window. He came in the middle of a workday, and I told him when I had meetings -- he started with my office window, and I was worried about having to move my desk. He was able to easily work around it! He worked very quickly! I was thoroughly pleased with what he had done -- and it wasn't before long I had a follow-up conversation with Valerie and she was asking how everything looked. Dave had sent her some pics and she was as excited as me. All that to say, I am overjoyed and I'm looking forward to my next house upgrade (when I cool down, financially, haha).

Lowe's Home Improvement - I love the plant clearance rack at Lowe's!

It took three staff members to figure out why they couldn't process a return for my storm door,…read moreeven though I had the email receipt and the order number sticker on the door. They scanned the barcode, and it came up in their system--but they still couldn't return it because it had been delivered from the Waldorf store. Apparently, since it was a special order (34" x 81"), it had to go back into that store's inventory. What's the point of shopping at a nationwide retailer if returns are tied to individual store inventories? It feels like they care more about their internal systems than customer service. My advice: never place special orders for delivery--have your contractor pick them up instead. Ironically, I'm returning it because I don't even need a "special order" size after all; I just needed a standard 32" x 81" door.

I don't understand why this Lowe's has such a low rating (see what I did there). Ha! Seriously…read morethough, it had what I needed and they guy in the garden section was helpful. I came in to look for outdoor deck cushions and a storage bench. I've been looking and had already been to the other store. They also had what I was looking for so I just needed to make a decision. I like that the deep cushions for deck furniture comes is sets. They sell the deep cushion and the pillow together. They have an array of colors. While here I went to the plant clearance section. YES! Lowe's has plants on clearance! I always go check it out. I was trying to figure out the prices when the gentlement escorted me to the sign. Doh! So, I bought a few palms, pansies, and a beautiful assorted plant all on clearance. WINNING! Come check out the plants on clearance!
