I went into Target to return diapers for store credit, something I've done in the past without any issues. The first employee at guest services told me I couldn't return them and went to confirm with another team member. Team member #2 informed me that while he could accept my Luvs diapers, I would have to take my Pampers back to the original store. When I asked why, he stepped away and said he would get his manager. When Manager Andrew finally arrived, his irritated expression made it clear he was not happy to help. He told me he wouldn't allow me to return any of the items. When I questioned why again, he became more irritated and explained the transaction was denied in the system, stating I would need a receipt. He was lying to me at this point because the previous team members only offered their knowledge and did not scan or start the return process. These items were gifts, and all I wanted was store credit to purchase bigger sizes. The manager assumed I was seeking a refund without asking any clarifying questions, and his tone was unnecessarily rude. When I asked for his name, he gave me a different one, which seemed dishonest. After I pointed out how unprofessional his behavior was, he told me he wouldn't assist me any further because of my comments. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Target, and I have reported this incident to corporate regarding Andrew's behavior. read more

Service is always so slow, after shopping for 30-40 mins it would be nice to be able to check out but lines are ALWAYS LONG there is no sense of urgency when they are checking you out and customer service needs to be reviewed. As far as selection goes, things are always out of stock, but they are blocking the aisle trying to restock. Value is ok, but clearance items seemed to be marked incorrectly meaning one has a low price when the other doesn't. read more

I live in district heights, and I have been applying my application there since 2022-23 and even now. I have been wanting to work there since I am in walking distance and have been shopping there and getting rewards points every time I spend my money there. It has been a hassle trying to find employment in my area of living since I have found it to be easy to get around by foot. I can find jobs in other county's but my own and the least I am complaining about is wanting to have a professional interview there and get the job. I have great customer service, I am a professional non-problematic worker, I clean up areas that needs to be cleaned and put together for the public, and I am a great help for customers that needs assistance finding items that they want/need. Target is a great store. I love shopping there and it is one of my favorite stores to shop in. I just wish that when it comes to picking their employees through the website with out giving a "proper" reason why they don't choose people to work for them is that they give future employee's a chance to work for them. read more

I have shopped at this Target for many years as I live in close proximity. I can honestly say, I've never had any bad experiences until this year. Unfortunately, all because of Calvin, Jahniya and the security staff. First of all, Calvin is the most unprofessional, immature, confrontational, lazy, gossiping, lying, disrespectful employee I've ever met. He doesn't want to work and always have an attitude. When he know you're going to file a complaint against him with management he will go to security and make false accusations against you, which is dangerous, unsettling and unacceptable. He plays the victim and is the initiator, and covers it up very well. Jahniya, will involve herself and defend colleagues when there in situations with a customer. She will become aggressive and confrontational towards the customer. She even almost ran a pushing cart into me while I was talking to Kenzie, Asset Protection Manager because of her bad attitude. She would've If I didn't move out of the way. The security staff is extremely unprofessional, inexperienced and incompetent. They will approach you very aggressively based off of lies and will not ask what happened before asking you to leave, which is unprofessional, embarrassing, humiliating, unacceptable and absurd. Target really needs to look into the poor conduct of these employees and complaints made against them. Their aggression and lies is extremely concerning. They are definitely a liability. At this time, I will not be going back to this location as I am extremely concerned about my well being. read more

This Target location is closest to my home so it's my quick stop for last minute items. I think they've come a long way in the last couple of years; the store is kept fairly clean and orderly. I have noticed that they have recently redone some grocery/produce section as well as the personal care/hygiene products section. These sorts of store updates keep the place looking nice and encourage patrons to help take care of the store. I usually visit on weekends -- there always seems to be long lines at the checkout stations. Thank goodness for the four self checkout counters; I make good use of those. The parking lot seems a little "free for all" ish, sometime there are stray baskets or trash scattered around. I choose to park a little ways away from the doors and just walk a bit further so I don't get caught in the parking lot madness. read more

Just stopped in to pick up a few things . Thought I'd grab some Starbucks but nobody was there . An associate told me the person working might be on a break but they weren't sure . I said ok cool, i just get something on the way out. Finished my shopping only to find the line all the way to cosmetics bc there only one register and one self check out open. I asked the associate near self check out why were there only 2 lines open ....she said 3 of the self check outs were broken and she didn't have anyone to work registers. Then she tried to check me out on a hand held ....that was declining my card . Had to go to another lane to be checked out all over again, but it was cool. After I checked out, I walked back over to Starbucks ....the lady working looks at me and goes ....."I'm closed" mind you it's 4:30pm. I asked what time they close she said 8, but today they're closing early bc there's no one to work, and she can't make my drink bc she's making drinks for the customers that were in line before she closed . Customer Service in the pharmacy is lacking to say the least!! I made an appointment for my son to get his vaccine, I confirmed and came 30mins before. 45 mins later we were still waiting. The pharmacy tech tells me she doesn't see my appointment, I show her the confirmation! All she keeps saying is she's by herself, mind you I understand but that's not my problem. It's Saturday and Target should have staffed better. After being patient with 2 little kids in tow she decides to catch an attitude with me. I kept my cool because my kids are with me. However, she kept acting like she couldn't find my insurance yet I gave her my insurance card, then she asks my my child's social as if I was really going to give it to her! I tell her none of that is even needed! The damn vaccine is free, he has insurance and a appointment that was confirmed. Give us the vaccine so we can go!!! 1 hour later and we are still waiting! Can I say this was beyond piss poor! I made the easy appointment to avoid waiting. Completely pointless!!! Target was got to either get better staff or hire more people! Ridiculous read more

One of the worst Targets in the area! The staff seems to be there to socialize because they definitely aren't working! Every time I go, there is only one person working customer service and maybe 3 registers (out of 12?) open with long lines at each one. EVERY TIME! Disappointing. Went to this Starbucks in Target at 2pm. No station was set up and cups were not in the correct place. These cups were stacked in a box and only one employee taking orders and setting up shop. Every time I come here to get coffee there is no sense of organization whatsoever and a limited amount of Starbucks staff with unsanitary areas and practices. Just because it's in the hood doesn't mean it should not be up to the same standards as a Starbucks in Bowie or Alexandria. Do better. read more

This is a very convenient Target as a part of the Forestville mall. Right near by there are a ton of stores including JCPenney, Shoe City, Starbucks etc. The store opens up to the mall, and you can stroll in and out. They carry most items, but definitely are out of stock of things frequently. They have a smaller section of the Hearth and Hand with Magnolia collection, so if this is what you are shopping for I'd head to another location. I really do enjoy the ease of this one-story layout. The parking lot is ALWAYS full, so expect to walk a little bit or wait around for a spot. They make it easy by having a ton of self-checkout lanes. Overall this is a solid Target that will have most of what you're looking for plus a ton of random items you had no idea you even needed! read more

Initially, I had a positive experience with the man that was assisting my mother and I as we shopped for a TV. They were low on stock, due to Christmas and such, so we ended up getting a TV slightly larger than what we intended, but that was fine. The problem began after I brought the TV into the house, only to discover that the TV we paid $450+ for was not the same as the TV in the box and there's more, the TV in the box was shattered. This Target needs some improvement... The staff here is hit & miss. Some of them aren't friendly at all & seem in a bad mood, while others - all the males - are very friendly. However, there are employees everywhere. Things aren't organized & displayed neatly - all over the store. I found myself trying to make things look neat. Their grocery section is consistently having issues with the light bulbs in the refrigerated/frozen sections. Check-out is a pain. They hardly have enough employees at the registers & those said employees are really slow. read more

It's a shame that I was so taken aback, but they were both so attentive, so kind, so polite, and smiled the whole time. I had two atypical requests and needs (just a coincidence that I had two in one day in the same store) - and both handled all my questions and resolved the issues amazingly and so smoothly. They really should serve as the gold standard for all the employees. This Target is ALWAYS on point! I haven't had an issue as of yet. The isles are always debris-free and the staff are always courteous. Shelves are always stocked and the items you may not see, you can definitely ask for assistance and it will actually be given to you. But when I get th check out, my cashier is laughing the whole time talking to....get this......THE MANAGER. Some short light skinned chick! Unless the Store is completely void of everything I need or the customer service is terrible, Target will always get a good rating from me. I love Target. I was surprised this one had as much stuff in the clothing department as it did, considering the location. With the exception of the colored denim that I wasn't even supposed to be looking at, they were well stocked. The cosmetics section was in shambles, lipstick tubes were everywhere and they had all been open and in some cases used. Their selection of nail polish was great, prompting me to purchase 3...I have a serious problem. There were several preteens (literally) running around and yelling at each other and none of the employees seemed to be bothered. They didn't really bother me either...it takes a lot to ruin a Target experience for me. My cashier was a young girl, very friendly and patient with me as I did the "penny shuffle" looking for change in my wallet. read more

They need to hire a more productive cleaning crew. Every time I come here there is some random food bag tumbling across the lot. Back to store... Inside has alway managed to be clean. I am looking to further my education and my laptop is broken so I went on my Target app to search for laptops. I had found a number of laptops that were of my interest so I saved them to my profile and then I searched online to find out if there was availability in inventory for this location. Online it stated that this location had a number of laptops in stock. I went to the store and when I got to the electronics section, there were no laptops out on the floor so I asked an associate for assistance. The associate took me to their scanner that they have in different aisles to look up some of the laptops I was looking for. Come to find out the store didn't have any of the laptops that online said they had on the floor and they didn't have any laptops in backstock. They literally had only two laptops in the whole store and neither of them were in my budget. I asked if a manager was able to possibly give me a discount due to the inconvenience and the irresponsibility of their companies in stock information on one of the laptops and she said no. Such a disappointing experience and corporate definitely needs to see why this store is so outdated with their information, that is bad customer service. read more

I went to Target to look for some deodorant and I was very pleased with my visit. I expected to get a few bars to hold me over but I ended up getting 8 total for $25. That May not seem like a good deal to you, but check this out. The bars were originally $5.99 but were in sale for $3.99. There was also a sale for buy 4 and get a $5 gift card. I initially bought 4 for $16 and I received a $2 off coupon and my $5 gift card. I then picked up 4 more and I used all my savings and it came out to be $9. I also received another $2 off coupon and $5 gift card. My deodorant game is in point!!! read more

My review isn't against the store itself but about a male employer that tends to stand by the exit. The first time this man approached me as I was walking out my with 5 yr old next to me. He asked me if he could take me out on a date. Yes, a fully dressed Target employee approached me to ask me out while on the clock. I kept walking. Today I went to this target again. All is good in the store until I am about to out the cart back where the others are. I didn't recognize him until I saw him harrass to ladies walking out of the store. This man literally placed his body next to this ladies and whispered something on their ears while the ladies are just trying to leave the store. This is beyond unprofessional! I went to my car and called the store, asked to speak to the supervisor and I formed her of the behavior her employee is demonstrating while on the clock. I hope they take action to avoid this type of behavior to continue to happen. read more
