The store itself is fine, not the largest or most intuitive but the staff are friendly enough. BUT, the towing company (Lincoln Towing) they contract with is incredibly shady (to the surprise of no one) and it's insane that they still allow a customer who's shopped at the store to be towed almost immediately. Do better by your customers. Used to stop by here for essentialls all the time, can't say that it's worth it anymore. I shouldn't have to worry about my car when I stepped away for less than 5 minutes. read more

This is a somewhat odd location; very much a city location. The parking lot is tiny, though there is an upstairs lot that may or may not be available for use by Target customers. I stopped here because I had to because an item I needed was not available at one of my preferred locations. I've lived within 3 miles or so of this location for over a decade (before it was a Target) and I don't think I've ever set foot inside. The parking lot would keep me from every coming back if I don't have to, and if I do it would be early morning or late at night when I wouldn't have to fight with the people trying to enter and leave or simply maneuver through the small parking lot. read more

This is a brand new Target only open a couple of weeks now. Listen now, I love me a good Target and this one is all sorts of shiny, organized and new. But man, is it a tiny little thing! Honestly I kept laughing to myself because it was more the size of a CVS. I have never seen such a mini-Target. That being said, you need to keep in mind they don't have anything & everything. They do have a little of most things though. I was able to find everything I needed. And for example, cold medicines & gift cards - I had a plethora of options. I found pricing to be the same as other Targets. And the staff was super duper nice! They have a couple of checkout registers being manned but mostly self check-outs. They have a lot of parking on the main level plus a parking garage. It seems like they may eventually have to validate parking but haven't yet started enforcing that. They had a nice Starbucks inside with a few tables, too. Cute & convenient Target if you're in the area and need something. But for your full Target shopping needs, you'll still want to go to a full size location. read more

The great store for families with kids. It's the most visited stores by myself. I didn't have a limit I had to spend - If I order I pick up when they say that my order is ready, but Target does give you quite a leeway, only in an emergency would I ever use it, but awesome that they do it. The pickup went very smoothly I can't say enough positive. Target has beyond excellent service than any other Targets I've been to!!! The front store attendants has great attitude and service !!!! But Targets gotta add music in the store which will make our shopping experience even more relevant!!! Please add music to the store!!! read more

This Target used to be a great medium size Target. Then they reorganized it. Now I can normally adapt to a store remodel because the store still makes sense to navigate. But whoever designed this Target's remodel must be uniquely bad at their job because the new store layout lacks any sense or flow; it is exceptionally bad. The only way this new design makes sense is if someone is intentionally trying to Bankrupt this Target location or someone unqualified bribed their way into winning the contract for the remodel. read more

So bizarre, they are out of shampoo. Nobody knows why or when it will be back. They just know that Target canceled all shampoo to this store. They are possibly trying to punish the neighborhood. I LOVE the location, the only reason for the 4 stars is just because it's such a TINY store. The staff is INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY. I mean, I went there this morning and EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE talked to me - either to say hello or asked if I needed anything. It's always clean and organized. I just wish this target had a second floor so we could have more options. But for now, it's better than not having it! We were in need of a Target in this neighborhood. read more

It's Target, so really, what's not to love?! It is considerably smaller in size than the average Target, and thus they carry a lot less products. If you're running in for a quick salad or Halo Top, they've got you covered (and they had some great deals, too!). If you're there to find a new shirt or skirt, find another location because the options are slim pickings. I'm happy it opened because I can walk there, but the parking is easy peasy if you don't have the same luxury I do. They also have a cool checkout process, where you can either self-checkout to the right (about 5 spots open), or checkout with a cashier to the left (again, about 5 spots open)! It made it very quick and efficient, which I always appreciate. I'll be back... obviously. It's Target! :) read more

Probably the worst Target I've ever been to. It is such a small space, I'm not sure why they even bothered including food and produce. It felt more of like a convenience store Target than a true Target. I love me some Target, but if I can walk around the entire store in less than 10 minutes, I'm not happy. I stopped by to buy some cat food, and the pets section was incredibly limited. It's basically a Target Lite, and I like my Targets chunky, bursting at the seams. read more

First of all, thrilled that this place is now open! SECOND OF ALL, the staff was RIDICULOUSLY kind and polite and eager to please an assist. Everyone was smiling and so happy and I was LIVING for it! They were giving away reusable target totes too! (And not the boring, small, red ones) Definitely a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. It's small, but the liquor section is mighty! Target, I get that this is a new concept, but get your shit together. I have had nothing but sub par experiences with this location. Trouble with returns. - The first visit I tried to exchange items I had bought at another store and buy some new things with a gift card - it took 4 times with the associate to coach them through how to process the return and a manager. - the second and third times, they couldn't find the item in their system because it's not a full target, so I wasted a trip both times. The sections are super limited - I literally came for white baby onesies - nada. Also twice I've gotten crappy customer service - one time with returns, a second time I wasn't waited on in the proper order because I came through the checkout in the wrong direction (there was no one there?). If you are doing a big target run, save yourself the time and go to elston or Wilson yards. If you need a glorified Walgreens, this can work. read more

I come into this Target regularly to get the overly zealous security guards and workers to follow me around the store. Sometimes I'll follow them. It's a nice way to pass the time and distract them from profiling others. read more

For My LGBTQ Yelpers I dont believe this target be a safe place .. very very poor manners from staff! Staff was very inappropriate and never reached out about a incident! Unless you're coming here to buy BASIC stuff like crappy toilet paper and gum, don't bother. Their food selection is very minimal and fresh produce, not so much. I've come here multiple times and this time they didn't have WRAPPING paper. It's the middle of holiday season and no wrapping paper. I was excited because it's so close to where I work. But this Target has the smallest selection I have ever seen...And everything they did have was a good 10 to 30 percent more expensive than it would be anywhere else in the city. Including any other Target. Very disappointing. The staff seemed friendly and eager to help, but with such a small selection I'm not sure what they could help me with. There did seem to be a lot of clothes and things for a baby though. So maybe as long as you aren't looking for pantry items or essentials this Target will work out well. read more

First off, I love Target. I love just going to the store and wandering the aisles in search of a diamond in the rough for the house. This place is small but still good for that. However, and a big however, this locations checkout /register area needs a MASSIVE REDO. They have a bunch of employees standing near the registers just ushering people over to the self-checkout machines. They serve no purpose but to point at a DIY 'do it yourself' machine. If you walk up towards a register you're greeted with a pointed finger to the machines. There have been numerous times where I prefer to go to a register but they just stand there and point. Then when you get to the self-checkout machine, they'll walk over and condescendingly ask you if you need help. Um, What? It annoys me beyond belief. What is the point of a self checkout machine if you can't check out yourself? What is the point of an employee standing by the register if they dont use the registers? None of it makes any sense. They might as well replace the actual humans with animatronic Johnny Cab's waving people away from the registers. I can't stand it and actually don't like buying anything from this location for this sole purpose alone. I was so excited they were putting a Target here and the checkout experience ruined it for me to the point I don't go here anymore. read more

PLEASE NOTE: This is a revised review. Preface: This review is not about the in store CVS and Starbucks. I've spent a lot of money at this Target since last September. I came to shop at least once a day almost every day, usually more. As a result, I've bought a lot of merchandise and have had to return quite a bit too - most of the time with the purchase receipts. If don't have my receipt I'm reimbursed on the debit card I used. You don't always anticipate having to return something, it happens. For the past six months, I've had issue with service with some of my returns. A return is supposed to be handled the same as a sale. It doesn't matter how well I present myself to the same few employees either upon making returns. Last night I made a return, one for over $65.00. The associate was nice about it and I thanked her for handling it. I came back with more items to return. Didn't think it right for the same person to do another return for me so I asked Amy (a manager?) to do it for me. She asked me at the customer service counter either what did I want or what did I need. Told her I wanted a refund/my money back on my debit card. I had a hard time getting Amy's attention when I tried to tell her that the customer service associate handled me well in my making the first return earlier in the evening - that she had done nothing wrong. Amy did my return and I said I needed to say one last thing. She heard that. Instead, I got the brush. Amy helped a sales associate with taking a sensor off a purchase. Then she came back to the register. I again said I needed to say one last thing. No eye contact and it didn't appear Amy was interested in what I needed to say and I was pretty angry about that. Told her I didn't appreciate the way I was handled in the store the last couple of weeks. Don't remember Amy's response but I didn't like it and told her I didn't like her attitude. When the transaction was completed Amy had an elderly woman come to the register beside hers so I could have get my debit card credited. They used a three digit code. I asked if there was a problem, I was told no. Amy DID my return on her register but my debit card is being credited from a different register. It isn't everyone. You're mostly comprised of very friendly and extremely helpful managers and associates working there. The male manager and the lady who's in charge of the customer service counter have ALWAYS gone above and beyond to help me and to listen to my concerns. I firmly believe she has done everything possible (and then some) to straighten out problems at the service counter because the service overall has improved considerably. There are two newer managers I'm just starting to get to know. So far so good! I appreciate them and for what they do. And, I thank them for everything. read more

I shopped here a few times and never had any issues. It's neat convenient one stop shop for a min target. I decided to stop in and check out the clothes and decided to try on a dress. Being a smaller Target there is only one dressing room in the middle of the clothing department. Someone knocked on the door and I answered to let the person know I was in there. Come to find out it was a sales associate, not sure if she heard me the first time opens the door. Luckily I was clothed as opens the door and tells me in curt way to next time lock the door. I was definitely put off by this and felt it was rude. I later went up to her to let her know I was done and if she needed to get in dressing room. Her response was that she needs to make sure the door is locked to keep an eye on the fitting to make sure no one steals. I understand that and all as I work in retail as well but this statement feels a bit accusatory. I won't be going back to shop there again. I don't believe in shopping where I don't fee welcome. read more

I regularly go to this target as I live in the area. Today I quickly parked in the parking lot there, as I usually do and noticed the man who sits in the box and oversees the parking lot staring at me, my friend and my car. I hurry inside quite uneasy at this point to purchase groceries and then quickly head over to Xsport (a gym across the street) to ask about a lost phone. This little side trip took no more than two minutes. On the way over I noticed the person who sits in the parking attendant booth, leave the booth, walk over to my car and walk around it. Becoming more and more uneasy I quickly inquired about my phone at the Xsport and hastily left to return to my car. I had barely walked outside when the man from the Target parking lot had followed me and my friend (two young women) to the Xsport and had started to harass us about not parking in the target parking lot. We had the receipt for our groceries FROM TARGET. He continued to follow behind us back to my car. As a young woman who lives in Chicago this was a very uncomfortable and inappropriate event that should not have happened. We noticed that people who did park at the Target and very obviously left their car to go somewhere other than the Target were not harassed like this and saw other people going to their cars from places that were not Target. None of these people were harassed in such a way. I am very disappointed in how I was treated at this Target especially since I frequent the place. Because of this, I do not think I will be going to this location unless absolutely necessary. read more
