I went ask for pizza combo, cashier tells me , pop machine broken, but you can get a drink from the cooler. Then charges me for the price of combo plus the drink separate. $9-10 dollars. You charging me for the pop but I'm not getting it.!!!!!! Really. The entire time an attitude like go away I don't have time for you. I'm been bother. I don't need a call, or sorry. Or apologize. I love this location. I've been in Chicago a little over a year and was very excited to learn a Target was being built near me. Don't have to drive to Elston any longer(but I still do since there is a PetsMart directly across the street..and a Dollar store) I like the covered parking! I like that, a lot. I moved here from Georgia, which is Wal-Mart land. Upon moving to this city, I realized I would have to quickly become a Target shopper, or drive to another city.I am hooked. In my opinion, this location has THE BEST clothing clearance of all in the city. Easy to find( back, right corner, by dressing rooms). Dresses for $7.56, coats for sale..just lovely! The Glade candle selection is awesome, and a $1.30 cheaper than if purchased at CVS. I've read many reviews about not selling booze...well they do now! I recently purchased a bottle of Grey Goose in preparation for Memorial Weekends festivities. I would recommend this location to anyone living in the Near North Side area. Feels safe, open late, if lines get long..management quickly opens other checkout lanes to keep the flow moving, awesome sales. read more

The nicest Target I have ever been too. Everyone was gorgeous and way TOO helpful. At every corner there was an attractive Target employee who asked if I needed help finding something. It got a little annoying after awhile to tell you the truth, but I did buy a super cute coat there and they had my size. :) read more

Volume on Walkie Talkies in store was at full blast for multiple staff. I could hear the internal communications from the other end of the store. I cannot get my shopping done while my ears are being assaulted and I am trying to make smart choices. The store is very small and has a limited selection of items. read more

Typical target. Some clutter here and there but well stocked. It can be a bit busy at times but that's to be expected. Starbucks and cafe are a nice and the view from the cafe is pretty great. I recommend going for a few or fifty items, grab a coffee or treat and peak at the sky line. read more

I went to the target clinic yesterday because I needed to see a doctor for a bad cough. I got in to see the doctor in less than five minutes. The registration was quick and easy. If you need an immediate care doctor for sure check out target. The pharmacy was a little bit slower but still plenty fast. read more

This is a review of the target (now CVS) pharmacy. My doctor prescribed me a medication and I went the next day to pick it up. The technician said they never received the script. I called my physician and had them re-order the medication. It took them almost 3 hours to refill the script. When I went to pay they told me this had already been ran through my insurance. Then, they realized that they had indeed already filled the script the first time. Since this pharmacy has transitioned over, it's less time efficient, customer service is terrible, and they seem to not know what they're doing. I will be transferring all of my scripts to Walgreens from now on. I used to really love Target pharmacy, but it has really gone south since the transition. read more

I generally avoid big box stores because I like making quick trips where I get a few basics and I'm done, plus I can't handle lots of people or long lines. This Target has never been an issue for me though. There's plenty of parking, the area around the store is not a total cluster f on Saturdays (yet), the store never seems packed (unlike the one off Diversey near Logan Square- total nightmare) and my trips are relatively short, yet I'm able to stock up on items that I may not be able to find at a local Walgreens/CVS. Example: Packs of La Croix in Mure Pepino flavor! Keep it coming Target. read more

I'm used to upscaled Target stores in LA, and this is just as good. I visited yesterday before I read the reviews, and I found the staff to be very helpful. I asked 3 different employees to find certain things, and they pointed me to the right direction accurately, with a smile. I'm surpnised that they're even friendlier than the LA employees I've encountered. I don't understand the rantings of a few reviewers. If you're looking for an obscure food item- go to Jewel Osco or Mariano's. Target is a place to get higher-end stuff for a low price. It is not Wal-Mart. It is not Costco, either.. The best thing about this place is the covered parking, the Starbucks, and the friendly service. Keep up the good work, Target. Not everyone hates you. read more

The people here are very helpful! We came in to print photos after hours and the team members on hand worked hard to try and help us even though the photo printer wasn't working. Cheryl worked hard to try and fix the problem for half an hour and then gave us coupons for our future return. Very convenient city location and great staff! read more

Target Clinic Review This is a decidedly mixed review. I went for a flu shot. The nurse administering the shot was excellent. It was done professionally, the facility was spotless and I was in and out quickly. However, prior to going there I compared prices and found Target Clinic to be very competitive at $31.99. What they DIDN'T tell you was they charged you $15.00 "Administrative Fee" just to process the claim through your insurance company. Guess what, my insurance company only covered about $2 of their administrative fee, so I was stuck paying the remainder - three weeks after the shot when the bill came in the mail. As you most likely know 2 doors are missing from larger stalls unfortunately some kids we're on doors ( my guess) since yesterday one was only missing (door was on floor it looked like hinges came off and same on second stall both doors were removed) restroom in women's needs cleaning and to have whom does it clean around rim of toilet and the rim of the seat it, was bad. This review is for the Optical Department: Definitely that is the last time I order contact lenses on this Target: 1 month waiting for the lenses that were supposed to be delivered in 2 weeks, having to call the optical every week to get a feedback bc they really don't care to follow up with you and the worst part was getting a pair of wrong samples as a " favor" to compensate the delay. Went in to get a seasonal item, the display was a mess and the pricing terribly confusing. The clerk, Gazzelle was her name, immediately apologized and quoted me a lower price and I was able to get what I wanted-something you don't see that kind of often in terms of customer service with big stores like that. Usually go to get stuff I can't find easily in the city and it's the most comprehensive place I can usually find what I want. Clean, safe, and never any issues. This is for the Target Clinic. I've had a terrible cold/sinusitis for 15 days and went in for a sinus infection (which no doctor will treat unless it has been going on for 12+ days - I know this from experience), as I have had them in the past and have been treated for allergies all my life. Sinus infections are not new to me and I know when I have one. I saw someone named Reana, who called my name while I sat in the waiting room, after 15 minutes of waiting - and no one was before me. It was empty, and it was not a lunch break for staff. I was already annoyed with this. She drilled me on a ton of questions and plugged my answers into her computer. Her response and diagnosis, while I blew my nose continuously and spoke to her in my raspy, worn-down voice from this cold: "This is not a sinus infection, you do not need antibiotics. What I have entered into my computer does not mean it is bacterial, it is viral." I was speechless. She said that if I was feeling this terrible, why didn't I go to my allergist or the ER? My response: Because I could not get in to see him, and this is why I am at a Minute-Clinic - a last-minute resort. She continued to lecture me on how I should be seeing an ENT, as people should not have sinus infections this "regularly" and only 2% of all people get bacterial infections from the common cold (I told her I maybe get one per year during allergy season - and 2%?!), and that she can not prescribe me medication. She advised me to continue taking all OTC drugs - which is the worst medical recommendation I have ever heard. Cough syrup, decongestants, antihistamines- to be continued until I am better, around-the-clock, which she said could take weeks. THIS is a sinus infection, I am sure of and OTC drugs were clearly not working, which is why I went to the Minute-Clinic. I read her write-up on me, after I paid and she printed everything out. In her notes, apparently, I experience "moderate sinus pressure" after telling her I was a 9 on a scale from 1-10 of pain/pressure. Since when is a 9, "moderate"? Also, after telling her that I have a sore throat and extremely painful sinus headaches, I read "does not have sore throat" and "mild headaches". Another good one: After blowing my nose repeatedly and telling her how often I drain, she writes, "no drainage". I nodded and agreed with what she said to me, only because I needed an antibiotic and knew she was the only one I could get it from today. After explaining how horrible I felt, and that this is not new to me, she finally gave in and said "I will give you an antibiotic, but only because you say you really need it. I shouldn't be doing this because my computer system says, and I don't believe, that you really have one." I was furious, but took the prescription and left. I DO NOT RECOMMEND going to this location. I needed to go somewhere quickly on my lunch break, and have been to a different Target location on the north side, on Peterson, and had a wonderful experience with a very nice nurse. So, I figured Target would be safe. I felt uncomfortable, frustrated, and crappy seeing Reana and she should not be practicing medicine anywhere. I don't need a smiley, over-friendly nurse or doctor - just someone who will HELP me, not make me feel worse about how sick I feel AND tell me, basically, that I'm lying about how I feel. I will be calling her manager this weekend. read more

Of all the Targets in the world I've been to - the one nearest my house is the worst. Terrible customer service desk (in line for over 15 minutes), used items going back on the shelf and a dirty diaper that had been in the same spot for over 24 hours. The final was when I had to return an item that had been put back on the shelf after it had been opened and used - they wanted to charge me more for the exchange. The manager, Veronica, was less than professional and even condescending. Nope - no more business from our family. read more

I'm done shopping here. I don't know why it's such a challenge to give this store my money. Every time , I want to buy something I run into two issues. And I do mean EVERY time. Not 2 out of 10 times, not every other time, not even 8 out of 10 times. 10 out of 10 times there is either not enough cash registers open and the lines are therefore quite long of full carts or, Second, when I finally get up to being next in line, I get told, "sorry sir, my line is closing after this transaction." I literally play a game of cash register shuffle. Got told that twice in a row today. Took me to a third line today to be able to check out, when all I want to do is give you my money and leave. I'm shopping elsewhere from here on out. read more

I HAVE STOPPED SHOPPING AT TARGET DUE TO SHOCKINGLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! My daughter and I were robbed the evening of 12-15-16. Unfortunately, I had hundreds of dollars of gifts cards for friends, family and my daughter's teachers stolen. I immediately called police, credit card companies, Starbucks, Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, and Target to cancel all credit and gift cards. Thanks to all but Target, I minimized my losses. I called Target the evening of the robbery with the transaction number for two $50 gift cards. I tried twice over the phone to cancel these before they could be used. I was told that this was not possible over the phone. I made it very clear that I could not go to the store the evening of the robbery because it was 8 degrees outside, my car window was smashed, and I had to get my young daughter home after this traumatic event. I called again the next day before stores opened, 12-16-16, on the way to work and talked to Nam; again "not able to help". I again stressed that I could not come to a store and had to be at work by 8am. I went to a Target store in person on 12-18-16, and Maria Burgos quickly helped me and was very kind. She was the bright spot in my dealings with Target. She discovered the gift cards were used 12-16-16 (it took her 1 minute to trace my cards with the transaction number). She called the gift card team, case #19537751, and explained what had happened. I was promised a return call and email from the gift card team to resolve my loss. I never heard from them. I called and talked to Sandra and Maribelle since on 12-30-16. They refused to reimburse the gift cards because they were spent and stated they were escalate the matter and get back to me. I have not heard from anyone since my last call and started my official Target boycott 1-1-17. It's been over two months with no Target shopping, and I have survived. Target was my "go to" for everything to the tune of 5-7K per year. Target is the loser here, and I commend both Starbucks and Lettuce Entertain you for excellent customer service and empathy during a stressful time. They will get all my holiday gift business in the upcoming years. read more

If you're used to the split level City Targets (State St, Roosevelt, Wilson), nothing can prepare you for the imported suburban hellscape that is this new location. I love Target so I was excited to have one closer to home since I live in Gold Coast. Things started off awful from the get-go. Rather than a nice pedestrian friendly entrance you enter through the parking garage and have to walk around the exit escalator to go up (HUH?). The store is obnoxiously oversized yet it feels claustrophobic and there isn't a window in sight. The shelves are fully stocked but they're missing many SKU's. I looked for 3 different personal items like mouthwash, deodorant and razors and they either had odd sizes or didn't carry the brand at all. With the other locations, I tend to linger and spend more than I anticipated. Everything about this location screams "Get your crap and get out!" I'll definitely continue going to other locations even though they're out of the way so I can avoid the soulless experience I had at this one. read more

Beware pricing at this Target. On a recent shopping trip, I found at least 6 items I purchased had a different price at the register (some higher, some lower) than what was posted on the shelf. The cashier handled each one to my favor. One discrepancy I would accept, but there is clearly a trend here. I want to TRUST the place I am shopping. Given this and the credit card breech, I think I will go elsewhere to buy my household basics. BTW, I tried to discuss with store manager but he never came to customer service where I waited for ten minutes. read more

Beware of thieves at this store! My wallet was stolen by a couple who, in retrospect, conned me in to looking away from my cart and purse. I filed a police report but security at the store seemed completely disinterested and annoyed at my asking them to provide a surveillance tape. Had it been their money that was lost, I believe they would have been all over the culprits! read more

So disappointed. The pharmacy never let me know that my bc prescription was expired. It would've been nice if they let me know the last time I picked it up that it was my last pack. I'm leaving the country tomorrow morning and I've been calling around trying to find a dr that has an opening and the only one I could find is out of network.
