I am a Target fan in general and even though Chaska hasn't had the latest update it's still my favorite Targets of the South to West Metro. My advice to all Target goers gets the red card. It does not have to be a credit card, I prefer a debit card. It's an automatic 5% off all products and free shipping for those items they don't have available. When you combine that with the Cartwheel deals it can be one of the least expensive places for groceries around. The grade of produce is the same as a Cub. It doesn't compare to Kwalskis or Lunds & Beyerlys but I try to eat all my produce by the end of the week and store it properly. I think it is worth the value. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful and even entertaining at times. I only have two complaints, I choose to do my shopping on Mondays and they have not gotten a chance to restock fully what has been depleted from the weekend rush. The second is that half the time they just give me plastic bags instead of asking if I prefer paper or plastic because I do prefer paper. Minimal but matters to me. read more

So, after a huge explosion of nail polish in my bathroom requiring a large amount of nail polish remover that I did not have, at 950pm, I drove to the target on Pioneer Trail in Chaska. I went into the store and was making my way to get the remover, when I was rudely accosted by a male worker who proceeded to tell me over and over and over again how it was 10pm and the store was closed. I said that I understood but that I needed nail polish remover and did he know where it was. He said he didn't and the followed me as I walked out to my car because he wouldn't let me buy the remover. This was on a Monday. The male bag boy or whatever he was needs a lesson on customer service. I could've been in and out within 5 mins. if he would've helped me. But instead, his job, evidently, was to remind me of the time. Save yourself the headache and shop at Cub where they treat you with respect. read more

Target Chaska is a decent store. The Starbucks has long serving employees. The pharmacist pharmacy is a bit chaotic. The line these days is long. You might consider having it delivered at no charge. The groceries are adequate. It seems that they are constantly stocking and trying to keep up. They have a bit of everything and I always find more than I went for. I went to Target this afternoon to buy a pack of nicotine gum. $12.99. That's what I was spending. As I approached the self checkout, there was $20 sticking out of the change machine at the register I went to. I grabbed the money and asked the man in the blue shirt walking away if it belonged to him. He said "nope, not mine." I said cool, my lucky day, and went to put the money in my pocket. As I did this, an employee by the name of "Jack," an old man, approached me and said, "no you don't. That is the stores money!" I said, "Jack, are you kidding me? Finders keepers." In my opinion it is the same as if I found that $20 on the floor. But this crazy employee named Jack approached me and said, "That's Target's money!!" I asked him what he was possibly thinking and that it's "finders keepers." This crazy old man grabbed me by the fingers and literally pried the money from my fingers! A total and unprovoked assault on my private person and my civil right to travel freely!! He pried the money from my hands while telling me "I better watch it!" I felt harassed, violated, and financially raped by this man!!! Immediately after purchasing my nicotine gum (I'm trying to quit vaping) I went straight to customer service where a nice young man named "Jared" immediately apologized profusely and returned the $20 that had just been robbed from me by a non-consensual assault (in front of my girlfriend no less) by Target's own employee named "Jack." I was returned my $20 dollars. But this was not the point. I was assaulted and violated on camera in front of my girlfriend and multiple other shoppers and cameras. Later in the day I filed a police report and called Target corporate. Not only was my report taken, but "Victor," who I spoke to at Target corporate, didn't even offer me much less than an insincere apology. I am absolutely livid!!! I feel violated and that my civil rights and personal space were violated beyond what is even near acceptable!!!! I will never shop at Target EVER AGAIN!!! This happened at 11:35am on July 18th. If you were there then you know what happened. My receipt number is #2-3199-1352-0174-9876-8!! I did nothing wrong, and although this man nearly broke my fingers and damaged my wrist, I was offered nothing in return for my trouble. Disgusting!!! Everything was caught on camera and in fact, this man "Jack" assaulted me and hurt and embarrassed me! I have been offered 0/nada/zip for my troubles! I will never ever shop at a Target store ever again! Go to Wal-mart folks!!!! I dare Target to release the footage of this incident as it was captured on multiple cameras, including the self-checkout cams. Disgusting!!!! Release it!!! Boy, I wish I had access to those cameras!!! To add insult to injury, this employee, "Jack," said to me, on camera, "you better watch it!!" I am in absolute disbelief over this entire incident and I fully intend to pursue this until the very end of the law! Had it been the other way around I would be in jail! Wtf!!?? This all happened at the Target in Chaska, Minnesota on Pioneer Trail. Un-be-friggin-believable!!! Target corporate should be absolutely disgusted by this behavior and I have been basically shrugged off. I am writing about the extraordinary customer service given to me by David and Zach in electronics in the Chaska Target. These two gentleman went beyond the call of duty in helping me make the transition from my Samsung phone to my new iphone. They were extremely knowledgeable and were fun to work with. I observed them working with other customers as well and they were consistently wonderful and dedicated to meeting our needs. They should be asked to train others. YC read more

I have been lost in this store for a week. Please, for the love of all that is Red and discounted come find me! I have created a temporary shelter out of copies of "50 Shades of Gray" behind the TVs in the electronics section. What began as short Target run for oreos has become a daily routine of scavenging to keep myself alive by finding whatever little slurps of coffee I can salvage from lip-stick stained Starbuck cups that reek of Soccer-mom. Two days ago a small child found pity on me and has been bringing me free samples he's procured from some other distant wing of the store, but rations are running low--I'm down to my last cheese block. I would ask for his help, but alas he cannot speak and is actually surprisingly swift for a little guy. He has a knack for disappearing like a little ninja into the coat racks... My strength is growing weaker, and the endless loop of Taylor Swift Sound Bites is wearing down my morale. This is a super duper Target! It's huge! Just about anything you need, you can find it here. Oh you need some of the latest elecronics...they've got them. Some trending new clothing...they've got it. Maybe some home goods...yep. A Starbucks fix...you bet! Oh and a fully stocked and functioning grocery section!! I was wandering around in awe. I love Target and all super Target did was multiply my love and longing for one close to where I live. The staff was very nice, even on Christmas eve when we were grabbing some last minute items. In fact, the mobile phobe representative helped us tremendously in the toy department. Well done Target, if I lived in Chaska I would be here all the time. read more

NOT SAFE TO GO TO DURING THE PANDEMIC! Go to any other location!! I went to get a flu shot during the vulnerable person hours and one of the staff members walking around the cash registers had a mask that was a strip of red fabric tied only at the top and flopping around the bottom. I recently moved from Chanhassen to Chaska and my number one complaint is the "Super" Target. Number one the selection of items is exactly the same as a regular target the shelves are just never full. Second the staff is always so busy with stocking the in store help is terrible. Sat at one of the tablets at the end of an aisle requesting assistance and I hit the request button 5 times I could literally hear workers walkie talkies beep as they walked right past me. Skip this target and go to Chan or Waconia the little extra drive is well worth the experience. read more

Let me focus first on the positives of this Target: It's a Super Target, so it has everything I need--makeup, food, clothes, Starbucks and even a liquor store! The employees are usually friendly and helpful when I need something. The downside? Long lines. Always. I have been coming here for over a year and it has progressively gotten worse. This store is like many Target stores, they don't have any employees on the floor and they don't have enough employees at the check lanes. On my last trip I noticed food prep people clean off a dirty counter and then, immediately after, grab food for a customer without washing their hands. The customer didn't say anything, which I'm not sure if that means they didn't notice or if they too are used to the very poor service. This is only matched with the fact that many of their produce items appeared to be expired or were almost expired. This did pair nicely though with the general dirtiness of the establishment. read more

This store is terrible. On multiple occasions I have went to the store to buy something specific that said was in stock online only to find empty shelves. Half the shelves in store are empty and then other items have no price listed. No wonder people have to shop online. read more

My wife and I are trying to understand why the store in Chaska, MN is so poorly stocked? This has happened on multiple occasions but this time was particularly bad. Today we shopped for groceries and one office item. The Chaska location, on a Monday, was out of the following items: Target brand (Market Pantry or any other brand) one gal jugs of water Blue Cheese Crumbles (sold in a tub, all sizes out) Ground Turkey Rotisserie Chicken (sometimes out and understandable) Eggo Mini Pancakes Frozen French Fries (all kinds and styles) One Gallon (bucket size) Vanilla Ice Cream tubs Sour Cream (all sizes and brands) Red Pepper Johnsonville Bratwursts (if you live in Minnesota you get it) Bottled water from Dasani or Aquafina (we don't like Ice Mountain) Printer paper In general these are staple items. There is a Cub Foods across the street, we shop target because of the Red Card and Cartwheel app, but we have three kids and have come to the conclusion that when we need to come home with certain items Cub has to be our choice as Target has repeatedly proven too unreliable. This is a nice Target. More quiet than Eden Prairie and since it is not in Hennepin County, you do not pay Target Field sales tax. Much more relaxed than the Eden Prairie Target as well. I have never had a hard time finding a parking spot. read more

I understand re-arranging a store is necessary for growth, however things are moved to the new shelving areas and prices for products do not match. I found 2 pricing issues after I had checked out today and finally got both resolved taking an additional 35 minutes of my time. On July 3rd I was in the electronics department for 28 minutes before a customer service employee asked if he could help me. It was not busy, it was 10:30 am. By this time I was not in the mood to purchase anything from them, so I did go to Best Buy and got the wireless sound bar that I was looking for. I shop at this store 4-5 times per month, but I think I will drive to the Waconia store to eliminate the stress factor level. read more

This Chaska MN SuperTarget is under remodel as of this review. I ordered a PS4 online at a discounted rate. The order went through. I received an email notice to pick up. It was a model that was 45 minutes away, where the other stores did not have inventory and I had a $50 gift card to use. I walked into the PS4 games area to pick up two games, purchased at checkout. Then went to the service desk by the exit to pick up my PS4 console. The female behind the counter said it was not in the system. I showed her my receipt. She said they do not have any inventory. I pointed to the employee who just walked away with the exact same PS4 I ordered online. She rudely told me I would have to pay full retail or I could talk to security. Wish I had a hidden video recorder or my cell phone in my shirt pocket recording. She threatened me with a veiled arrest/detainment over this? I assume that other employee bought the last discounted unit. What is Target doing training their staff to threaten arrest of customers? read more
