Me and my husband came here looking for a bucket. The employee directed me to a bucket. Overall, I was really satisfied with my service.

I loved checking out all the Halloween decor as well as some of the other home goods. The prices are pretty fair for most items. I'm naturally like those TikTok's when they guess what the price is and if it's over what you guessed you put the item back, because you probably don't need it anyways. Generally you never know what you'll find at Marshall's which makes it fun. Didn't have much interaction with staff until we checked out and the cashiers were nice.

So i know textiles, quality of construction, price points. And this Marshalls is not getting the quality merchandise they used to get / years ago. Women's clothing us almost a disaster. Fabric, construction, wearability after repeated washing, poor poor poor. I now rate this dept a one star. I stopped looking.. Luggage: used to be one of their top departments where every now and then you found quality labels and some very good construction. Rate a 3 star. Men's clothing you must read labels, examine fabric construction quality VERY carefully i rate a 4 star. All shoes are simply terrible, a one star. Don't even look. Women's lingerie under garments: HUGE drop in quality . Bras have inferior non stretching elastic, most of inventory has manufacturing defects ( must try on), very poor materials. Rate one star. Women's sleep wear: hunt VERY carefully, this was a top dept. rate 3-4 star. Read labels, examine quality of fabrics carefully. Bedding towels: this WAS a 5 star area, now 2-3. VERY high prices, very poor boring selection of prints styles colors. HUGE disappointment. Decorative/ kitchen/ housewares: one of the only areas which is still good. Hunt very carefully, some prices are TOO high. Rate 3-5 star Food products: WAS my favorite, now a 4 star. watch out for very high prices. Some items are poor low quality mfg trying to copy the " look" of famous $$ brands. Lotions /hair products/ face creams/ soaps: The MOST drastic change of all with many products disguised with copy cat labels of expensive brands WHEN in fact... they are poorly made cheaply in CHINA where ingredients for safety etc are poorly monitored. Take GREAT care what you apply to your face. Rate one star. These changes have happened very very fast in the last 18 months- 2 years. Read your sunday sale fliers for bargains at Target, Macy's, Walgreen Target's cosmetics have improved a lot and at decent price points. Marshalls is trying to increase their profits by stocking with pretty packaged decorated designed colored " pretend" products made very poorly in China. READ labels VERY carefully. Take more time to hunt CAREFULLY. There are still some good buys, just not as many.

We left our cart full of items as no way waiting in that line. Monday went back and was let in by security who said they had no cashier and manager busy. Said they hoped a cashier would be on by the time I left. I found the items I had left behind. Ladies cleaning aisles but housewares so bad Manager was kind and rang me up on exit and apologized for no staff to ring. You cannot beat prices and appears retailers having a hard time finding qualified people. It is an epidemic. The company used to specialize in great coats and clothing at a deal. It is not the same and I hope they go back to quality coats and clothes.

There are pretty neat items at this store. I like the cell phone accessories section. I got a MagnaVision item that turns your cell phone into a larger screen. It's essentially a fancy magnifying glass, but it works well on the plane, or when you want to stream something and actually see it. It was only $7. I also liked the new vent clips for your phone that are elevated. So, you can still have heat or air coming out of the vent, without your cell phone blocking it. Nice! I didn't get one, but love the concept. I saw a shimmery pair of pink Converse shoes in my size. I didn't need another pair, but it was tempting to buy. I tried them on, though. They were comfy. The women's clothing section was fun. I liked a purple Vikings hoodie simply because it was purple. The handbag and wallet area is also cool. There were also some cute change purses. The checkout section looked scary by the time I started to line up. I'd guess that there were fifteen people ahead of me. However, it does move quickly. The person helping me out with my purchase was efficient and nice. Parking was not a problem here on a Sunday afternoon. This store is located at the Shops at Lyndale. (403)

Habitat for Humanity ReStore - This is heavy solid metal. It would be awesome on a fence or house. I couldn't pass it up for 20$.

There's a good variety of used and new items, along with various categories of goods.... big and small. Pricing varies as well, but you can bet your paying less than retail price. Some of the basics: sofas, artwork, rugs, paint, bedframes, lightbulbs, patio furniture, Some of the interesting: church pew, chandeliers, fancy stoves, building material (flooring, fixtures, cabinets) Some of the little things: command strips, paper towel holder, bath mat, frames There's so much, and you never know what you'll find during your visit so check it out. I will say, staff didn't seem warm and friendly (ie a smile, or offer to help), but at the same no one was directly rude. I gather if you ask for help, they'd assist. I noticed by the bed frames, a sign that said they have tools to disassemble, but you had to do it yourself, which is still helpful since some places wouldn't even offer that.
