Made it out with some small frozen pizzas, snacks, and other essentials for just a little over $10. Staff was really friendly and there's ample parking. This is also located closely to a Cub grocery store, but seriously, check out the Dollar Tree to save a little scratch.

Here's why: Up and Up is a Target brand. Oral B is not. With that said, oral hygiene is important, and flossing one's teeth is very important to me. Which brand is the best out of these two? Well, it's not Oral B. I ran out of the Up and Up brand flosser, and went to Target to get more. Lo and behold, they were out of that brand, so I bought the Oral B brand instead. Um no. It took nine of the Oral B brand flossers to floss all my teeth because they kept on breaking vs one Up and Up brand flosser. Bottom line, don't waste your money on Oral B Flossers. Dang it Target, you win again. My teeth thank you.

Gal was doing inventory on the entire section, said I couldn't take anything because she was doing inventory (I understand completely). Meanwhile, there's a mysterious "WTF are they waiting for?" line adjacent to her. I left, came back, 30-40 minutes later. Said football product is gone, and 2-3 guys are standing there with multiple boxes (more than 2 for sure) in their baskets, almost taunting anyone who dared to think they had a chance to get one. I overheard 3 pre-teen boys lamenting how "those guys cleaned out the Topps Chrome football". I wanted a box, yes, but assholes like that are actively preventing kids from participating in the hobby. And on the back end, they'll try to (and probably succeed) sell those boxes for double the retail price. If there's going to be the 2-per item per customer trip/transaction limit on these products, enforce it!! Otherwise, just take the meaningless, overwrought signage down.

There are a few staff roaming the stores, though a little hard to tell who is staff and who isn't because the checkouts are self-serve and the staff that you could tell were staff were talking amongst themselves in the aisles both days (I went the day before Halloween and then back on Halloween to buy cute little candy bags). Some of the items are quality and a great value while others are poor quality and with the tariffs definitely not worth the new price point. At their lower price some of the items may have been worth it but definitely pick and choose. Still worth browsing around to see what you might find. The Japanese have so many wonderful knick-knacks and really just gives every little thing a home so check here before you check Amazon lol.

I also like when the Christmas displays come around. So many things to look at. I feel like they usually have coupons or deals via the rewards system which is cool. I really had no idea what to expect, but as soon as I walked thru the door, was a cart with coffee and tea offerings. I tried both which they were lukewarm (not surprised as this was evening time when I was in there), but the tea was tasty. Then I went in browsing the store myself. There were sections with Christmas related merchandise and just other merchandise. I naturally gravitated towards the stationary/book section-- lots of offerings there. The food/drink sections were huge. Lots of items to explore including international items as well. I thought that was very neat. I briefly looked at the jewelry/aromatherapy section. I found a few pieces of jewelry I'd wear, super cute! Lastly, I headed over to the kitchen section. Found some really cool plates and other kitchen items. I do have to say I was a little disappointed that I passed 3 employees during my visit and not one even acknowledged me. I thought that was very strange and unacceptable. You should say hello to customers when they visit the store. Customer service skills are a large part of customer satisfaction and help decide if the customer will be returning or not. Overall, my first time here was enjoyable and glad I stopped in to check it out. I' think if/when I'm in the area I'll stop back in to see what new goodies they have that time around. That said, this location seems to have issues getting and keeping employees and has since they opened within the last few years. And the ones they do have right now? Kind of rude, they hide in the back, and you don't see them until they see they need to ring people out. There's 3 self checkout registers and none of them are ever open; I used them twice during the first 3 months of this location being open, never to have used them again, resulting in some INSANE lines as they make the single employee check out everyone on a tiny lil' counter that doesn't fit more than 3 items at a time on it (this is true for ALL of their registers/counters; that one is actually the biggest one). My biggest peeve is the young man with dark brown/black hair. Taller, average build. I just heard him ask an obviously disabled (judging not only by her speaking and demeanor, but noticeable scarring all over her body as well) girl why she shopped the way she did, grabbing many items only to need to buy only a few. I swore she was going to cry. All in all, a decent store. No problems with the store itself beyond checkout, really. The employee issue has been an ongoing problem since day one it seems, though.

CVS can be very expensive and with a name like "Dollar General" I was hoping to see some lower priced items. Unfortunately, the prices seem very high for the grocery items and I would only ever use them in a pinch. The store was clean but seems very crowded with items. They were still working on putting items on the shelves, so there were a lot of carts out in the aisles. The plus side is that they had A TON of variety. This was like a little grocery store but also had some decor items, baby items(diapers,food,wipes) Holiday items, ect.... There is tons of parking and self check out for a quick in and out! Overall I will use this place in a pinch, but I still prefer dollar tree for quick and cheap items.
