Both times I've had to use the restroom I actually just end up leaving because it's always too dirty. The lines are always ridiculously long. They wait too long to call in extra cashiers. One time I had some coupons and the cashier had no clue how to use them and I waited forever to get help. The fitting rooms are always full of clothes left behind by customers which can be pretty annoying. I give them two stars just for the fact that I love target anyways and I usually find what I need. I prefer the Target on Avalon it's a lot neater and cleaner and less hectic. read more

This Target is a joke. Employees always have a shit look on their faces and are rude to customers. Recently, I completed a drive up order and picked it up. Get home and the chips I ordered were open. I call the store and they tell me walk in. Heres my problem, I SPRAINED MY ANKLE AND WAS IN A BOOT. This target is huge. We go to this location a lot and always is helped by friendly employees. The store always have what we need. The staff is always wear face mask and the take the covid-19 precautions very seriously. The drive up service that this Target location has is the Best! Their app is easy to use to order, your email will let you know when the order is ready to be picked up, and they are quick to come out with your order. They even double check that the goods in the bag are correct. One time something was missing, but the associate caught it as she verified the order and went back in the store to pick it up. Today I was RACIALLY PROFILED and ACCUSED OF STEALING from this store. My family and I have been coming to this Target my whole life since I live down the street and I have never had a problem. I frequently go to this Target and I usually take my reusable bag and put things in it that I plan on purchasing when I know I'm only going to buy a few things. Today as I was in the soap aisle grabbing some body wash a white security came up to me and accused me of trying to steal. He said I had two choices, give him back everything I was trying to steal or be charged. I have never once stolen in my life and I have enough money to pay for the items in my bag. I assured him that I was not stealing and that I had every intention of paying for everything in my bag, but he still didn't believe me. I told him I come here all the time and put things for purchase in my bag and have never had a problem and that there's probably security footage of me on other days in the store doing the same thing and paying for my items. I told him it was interesting you would accuse me, a young Black woman of stealing. I then spoke to the manager and an other security guard and they agreed that this should not have happened to me. I have been going to this Target for my whole life, but I will never return because I do not feel safe anymore. Terrible service. Store physically posted promotion to buy 3 items and get a $5 gift card, right near the item I purchased. First off checker was very short and simply said NO. -Abruptly sends me to customer service with no one available at desk. After waiting for service "Dulce" appeared and said she'd be right back. Although her demeanor was professional, she simply insisted that I was in error, before verifying posting. Asked again if she understood and responded that we're not taking down store posting because it was referring to something else, not even on the same shelf. Never again. I will not be coming back. I placed an online order for pick up for some batteries around 9 am. It's 1130 and my batteries are not available for pickup . I understand with everything going on it must be hard but all I wanted was my batteries. Then the manager Elias said that I would have to wait in line outside the store and pay for batteries I already paid for. This is redundant. Why would I wanna do that. I'm heading to cvs and buying my batteries and processing them for a refund. Elias also needs a haircut. Thinning hair and ponytails don't mix dude. Worst f***ing Target to shop at when it comes to Customer Service. 1. I went to Guest Service to get a refund for a damaged item, which she fixed just fine. But I advised I needed a refund on the shipping because I charged using a Red Card. In case you don't know. One benefit to having a Red Card is free shipping no matter the total value of online order. Anyways, she said she only refunded me half because I I only returned 1 of 2 items ordered online. So I told her, well I need a full refund because I have a Red Card. Before she even tried checking other option, she insisted she couldn't until I insisted it should have to pay any shipping. So she tried to see her options and finally fully refunded me shipping. 2. I asked if she could help me place an Online order to get a replacement for the damaged item I returned. She said he was Online only so she couldn't. If it wasn't for her colleague intervening, I would've gone home. But that colleague advised me to go to Electronics. 3. I went to Electronics and advised one employee to help me make an Online order. He didn't know how but pointed at his Colleague next to him. The Colleagues name was Tim. Now Tim is arrogant as*hole. He told me he didn't know what I was requesting. Said blah blah blah, that I would have to go to Guest Services. So now they got me running back and forth. I said, no, why don't you call Guest Services because they told me to come to you guys. Instead of making me go back and forth like a dumba**, call Guest Services and ask why I want directed to Electronic. So then he insisted what did I need help with. I said place an Online order. Now he wants to say why didn't I just say that. I just did, he said no, you just placed the piece if paper down. I said no I didn't. Still a big fan of Target. You can find anything and everything here - they have groceries, clothing, household items, pharmacy, a Starbucks and small target cafeteria (pizza, icee, snacks!). Sometimes this location has cheaper prices than the Torrance location so there are perks to visiting a different target than the Torrance one! The only drawback at this location is the lines always seem to be long. I would recommend opening more cash registers during busy times, even self check out tends to have long waits. read more

So in my previous review, I wrote there were never any carts. Well, someone left me a note on Yelp saying they got new carts and...............THEY DID! Imagine my surprise when I went to Target and saw the cart area full of carts! Previously there would always be 0 to maybe 10 carts hanging around, but this time it was p a c k e d!! 5 stars because they actually fixed a complaint. Lines (both regular and self checkout) are still long, but I tend to go on Fridays which seem to be one of the busiest days. This target is neat but the employees are terrible. Guest service is garbage . They're rude and have no clue on how to treat people. Tried to price match and they made a big deal about it. I tried to explain the Gardena target was able to do it for me and they right away snapped and told me to go over there and do it. The guy was rude and it's just frustrating because you're just trying to communicate what you need and then people like that get all defensive and rude and they just ruin your whole shopping experience. Be careful parking at this Target because people drive like maniacs. I usually try to avoid this store because it never ever looks like anyone works here. Clothing is always thrown all over the place & you really can't even get through the aisles even after their most recent changes. Customer service here is terrible. This store has been updated quite a bit. Seems like Target is trying to expand their furniture department, so there's a mid-size display area nicely set up. Not sure you can purchase and go, as everything appears to be for show so you can order online afterwards. Additionally, the food area has been updated to Pizza Hut and Starbucks. Customer service has been revamped as well. There's candy/gum and a few snacks for purchase at the counter. Overall, this Target is clean, well organized, fairly stocked, and has great customer service compared to several others in the nearby area. read more

Happened to stop by here on the way to dropping off a friend. It looked big, so we went in for some miscellaneous items, as are usually the focal point of all Target visits. It was nice and clean and best part - Smart Start cereal was on sale 2/$5.00. I was stoked and grabbed 8 boxes. Yeah, you heard me. Oh, and crazy part, we went on a Sunday afternoon and we didn't have to wait in line. There were actually cashiers open and waiting for people! AND, hold on to your seat...the cashier lady was actually friendly...FRIENDLY! AND competent! A Target with plenty of parking, including underground...nice/friendly staff...a Starbucks inside...clean aisles and shelves neatly arranged...not crowded...holy bleep... I am at Target several times a week, but this Target kinda sucks. It always has a dirty parking lot, the lines are slow, the selection and stock is only adequate. The staff are usually ok, kinda slow sometimes. But it's just the store itself that mostly sucks. I hate that the self-checkout is 10 items or less. That makes no sense (unless you are just a ghetto store and you have ghetto people stealing things?); the other lines should be 10 items or less--your checkers tend to be slow! Self-checkout always goes quickly! The other Target in Torrance is always much cleaner (including the parking lot and carts), has better produce and grocery items, products are usually kept very well-stocked, staff is friendlier, more helpful, and more knowledgeable, and they don't have stupid line systems. Get with the program; otherwise it makes me not want to shop here anymore. read more

This store did not participate or honor any promotions sale compared at other Targets in the La county. The recent "buy 2 get $5 gift card" of the sleep supplements does not limit customer only can buy 2, but the store said it is the policy, term and conditions. In the Term there is no part saying thats customer only can buy 2 bottles one time. As long as customers buy quantity of 2 and up, the promotions will add up by every 2 bottles they buy. The " Pick up in store & same day delivery " provide $5 gift card for every 2 bottles you add in the check out cart. This promotion also can be participated " In store". Why does this Carson store limit 2 when people buy in store, but provide when customers shop by " Pick-up". Such as a bullshit things that they said it is the policy. This store is the most racist store ever. They think Asians do not know how to read or speak English so they can say whatever they want by dragging the policy up. This store just does not want to sell stuff for Asian people. This is the second time I experienced the same situation in this store while never happened at different stores. I can order online and pick up in store now with the promotions add up for showing them how wrong they were lying to customers, but I wont. It's very organized for the record. It is always clean and organized. This location is always busy and items are flying off the shelves at a rapid pace. recently went to this target as it is local to me and we most likely be my last shopping trip to this location. i went to use a giftcard for my kids they wanted another switch game we found the last one in store. policy in store is you have to ask a team member for the item behind the locked glass container and they in turn will hold your item till your done shopping. we understand that so it's not a big deal to us. we then went to scan about 4-5 items that i already had in my cart and it took me about less then 3 minuets we headed over 10 steps to the checkout in the electronics and my husband asked for the game. The cashier was not the guy who got our game but the cashier next to him was and he look and acted as if he had zero clue what he was talking about no knowledge of any game as if he was speaking a foreign language. i said are you sure it was him because i never witnessed who it was then the team member remembered exactly who he was and said "oh sorry i just sold it, my bad!" first off who says that secondly that was the last game in store and your just sorry! wth really well i was extremely pissed off at this point it blew my mind the only reason we came to the store was for this game, we looked online before arriving to be sure it was here and it was the last one. we had asked for it and you sale it!!! rolling my eyes 5 minuets later when the LOD comes over omg i just want to understand where do they get there training from. Overall my second favorite Target. I always find what I'm looking for and the prices are lower than San Pedro's Target.

I wanted to shared my incident here at this Target. If you noticed the shopping carts here, these have a metal frame welded on the exterior, if you touch to feel it's sharp, recently had an incident, my son slip and felt on it, he cut his upper-lip to the extend that he got stitches, Target indicated that they have no video of the fall and three after have some one check the area and found nothing that might of cause so for him to fall, they call it an unfortunate accident. This is the only location that have this type of carts, I know the carts are unsafe, the metal piece should not be on the exterior with sharp edges and now my son will have a scar due to who ever approved this manufacture carts. To parents out there with toddler, hope this is helpful to prevent any future injuries and if they are more parents out there with the same situations, please let me know. read more
