I order curbside pickup EVERY SINGLE WEEK THEY CANCELLED MY ORDER . There's a Carson North & a Carson Location & I was waiting awhile at the Carson North location . It took me an additional 10 minutes to get to the Carson location . The whole point of curbside pickup is to have the items brought to the customer . I got a notification saying that I REQUESTED THE REFUND WHEN I DID NOT . They should have made an exception due to the fact that I made it to the Carson location just minutes after they sent me that notification!! I came to the curbside parking space and told the lady . She refused assist me . She could have reached out to someone to have my order brought out ! I was very annoyed . Her tone was extremely dry & said you're gonna have to go inside the store . I paid with a different card and I had to pay for it again !!! It's an inconvenience because I'm paying for the same item TWICE & have to wait for my refund ! I spoke to the manager , Ashley about the issue & she denied my request for a $5 gift card for the inconvenience!! As previously mentioned , I shop at Target every week . Used to be my go to target but think I will have to switch since a lot of their cat friskies food is out of stock, the gallons of water is out of stock, and btw they need to fix their carts. This what cleanliness looks like to store management. Women's restroom was closed. Only the family restroom was available. No toilet paper no soap. Isn't Targets coronavirus response "Increased cleanliness". This is such a disappointment. Cleaning and sanitising your public bathrooms remove germs and other pathogens from the area, you will reduce the transmission of some rather unpleasant diseases. ... POSITIVES (too many to name all): - A LOT OF PARKING outside and down inside their parking structure! -$1.50 popcorn with soda combo RULES! -The restrooms are NICE and CLEAN and has a nice European high powered hand blow dryer! ( haha ) -Girls...nothing but girls all around because they love Target especially when they are on their periods...it is like their little mini mall without vibrators. Hahaha. -Target is for males and females. -Target is like a way more organized Wal-mart. -Their deals are awesome! For example, "BOONDOCKS" season 1 and 2 have been only $19.99 for a LONG TIME NOW while Best Buy and FYE have been changing it's price. -THE ADDITION of Starbucks and their FOOD COURT RULES! I come here often because it's my closest target. For the most part I don't have many problems. Staff is rude or lazy but I'm used to it. It's not something that normally affects me. What I'm really irritated about is that the employees are being EXTRA lazy now. I placed a curbside pick up order by decided to come in to grab some extra things that I forgot to order. As I'm inside target shopping, I get a notification that a trash can that I ordered is out of stock. Of course I go to the aisle to see if there are other options. What do know, I find the exact trash can that was "out of stock". Like seriously?? How lazy can you be? It was literally right in front too. It wasn't hidden. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. HORRIBLE PICK UP SITUATION. One guy, one, handing out pickups during the week of christmas. And dude was NOT good at it. Handing out 1 order at a time, and going back to his cart for 5 minutes trying to figure out the next one. Parking lot full, all cars waiting for pickups. People waiting a half hour, including us. Save yourself time and drive to the Torrance target. It may take longer to get to depending on where you live, but it will still save more time than waiting at this place. And they have multiple people there constantly bringing out orders. Never come here, i never will again. read more

Haven't been to this Target in years!!! Last time was pre "remodel" which was quite some time ago. The store is large, clean and very well inventoried. The layout may be a little suspect, but that's no biggie. During this visit, we expected it to be crowded as FUC, (because it was the day before Mother's Day), but it was surprisingly mellow! I was so disgusted and pissed on how they have treated customers especially the elderly during this Coronavirus crisis. My mother told me she was rudely spoken to my this sales woman at the checkout. My mom asked her nicely if she could have two packs of Dial bar soap and this woman yells at my mother so rudely saying "NO!! My supervisor only limits each customer to only one per customer!" The shopper at the back of my mom in line observed how extremely rude the cashier was to my mother and said to my mom, "here give it to me ma'am, I'll pay for it and it will be my gift to you". And that nice lady told off the rude cashier; "I think you need a few lessons in courteousness and politeness toward customers and mark my words I will speak to your so called supervisor about your rude behavior before I leave." My mother thanked the nice lady so much and she sweetly gave my mother the soap. We are in extremely hard times and people are extremely terrified about what's going on in the world as we know it today. We do not need rude employees to make it extra difficult and worse especially elderly people like my mother. What ever happened to minding your manners and being polite and respectful towards customers?!?! I have noticed myself (and I come here often, a frequent shopper here) how rude other employees have been in the last two years or so. It's rare now that if you ask for help on something, they'll be welcome to help you. I know that the employees are tired of have problems of their own but that gives them absolutely no right whatsoever to treat their customers like dirt. Target lost out on over $150 today and thousands of future dollars because of some new policies concerning their trading cards. costumers are restricted to only buy 2 packs of trading card per day. this Is absolutely ridiculous and I will not be giving target any of my money if they have a policy as ridiculous as this. Common sense would be to order more inventory if they are being sold so quickly instead of punishing the customer. read more

I went to this Target location because my app told me they have the baby food I was looking for in stock. My wife and I went to the baby aisle and it was a huge mess. A lot of items were all over the place and a lot of items were not restocked and left empty. The mess that we saw on the baby aisles did not happen in one day. There was no hot sale on baby stuff that week that would cause such havoc on the baby aisle. Torrance, San Pedro and Carson locations are the 3 closest Target from my residence. Torrance and San Pedro are neat and very organized and up to Target standards. Makes me wonder what happened to the Carson location. It seems neglected and as you keep walking around the store, you will find carts and carts full of items that were intended to be returned to the shelf but seems like no one is assigned to it. If you are close to the Torrance and San Pedro location, please do yourself a favor and just go to either one. I posted some images to prove my point. read more

Rating of negative -5, Management and head of security are just plan rude, I was returning a pack of white tee-shirts for $25.00. The manager called head of security on me because my credit card did not match my receipt, but head of security said that he saw me purchase the shirts but he will not return the full value because I did not have the right credit card, after explaining that I paid with Apple Pay and apple pays changes the card number and I showed proof and verification on the apple site with my credit card they still refused my return, and head of security "Martin" said that I need to leave the store and he got on his little walkie talkie to have someone call the Carson sheriff on me. With a receipt and store print out receipt that was not good enough wasted one hour of my time. What a great staff the target team has. I guess there is no more customer service anymore! read more

Worst experience, came here to this store to use my WIC card . The manager was so rude and let me wait for over an hour to fix the issue. My transaction was voided and their system crashed before it was voided target took all the balance from my card and when i talked to the manager she said SHE CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, im like WTF you are telling me you cant do anything about it your store already took out the money from my account and then you are not giving me my items you let me wait for like an hour and you have the guts to tell me that you CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT?? And you are the manager of the store??? MARIA you should know better thats why you are in that position . I am really pissed and disappointed . You let me wait for an hour you didnt even feel sorry about it and you have the guts to give me attitude as well. If i can just record the situation and let all people know how unprofessional you are as a manager to talk to the customers. Atleast give me something or solution to the issue cause i lost totally everything. I wish I could give more stars. This target has it all: Great selection, friendly staff, it's clean, it's organized. Now that COVID-19 has imposed extra restrictions, shopping is a hassle no matter where you go. This target stepped up and has made the whole shopping experience a breeze. Cleaning carts are out in full force, I saw at least 3 people wiping down surfaces. I was offered help by 2 different people who saw me wandering the aisles. Needed help at the cashier and the two ladies that helped me were both kind and patient. There are other Targets in the area-- this is by far my favorite. read more

Mario in customer service was horrendous. He literally walked away without informing the line, his station, while communicating directly with his customer that "he is going to go yell at somebody" great job guy! He walked away from the counter with no information to any of the 8 people in line, I counted. He didn't call for coverage and this is where the mess happened. No customer service at the desk of people who require service and no information on what's next, great communication. I say screw this and go about my life. Target, Mario was not on display on this day. Remove him from the equation and the team outside ACTUALLY working was fighting an uphill battle with the car lines. I was in the children's shoe department yesterday. It was a complete shambles. Opened boxes on the floor, shoes scattered everywhere- a complete mess. There was no way in earth anyone could find a pair of shoes for their child. I mentioned the condition of the shoe department to the cashier who appeared not to understand English. This target has gotten so ghetto it's really sad. The last remodel it had was back in 07' when they knocked down the original building and built this one with underground parking. Every time I walk in it's always hot and muggy the ac is never on. The floors look awful and the aisles are always a mess and stuff if just everywhere. Target is my favorite place to go for anything, hands down. I'm pretty lucky to have 2 Targets in my city. Parking: there's a lot in front of the store, and there's additional underground parking. There's never really any parking issues in my opinion. Staff: They're friendly and always willing to help you find what you need. Sometime's they'll walk with you across the store to help you find particular items so that they're sure you found what you need. Note: There is a Starbucks and a cafe located in front of the store by the exit. Their service is what you'd expect from a Starbucks, however, their Starbucks is usually understaffed and will sometimes take a little longer than usual to serve your order. There's not much I could complain about with this particular branch. read more

Both times I've had to use the restroom I actually just end up leaving because it's always too dirty. The lines are always ridiculously long. They wait too long to call in extra cashiers. One time I had some coupons and the cashier had no clue how to use them and I waited forever to get help. The fitting rooms are always full of clothes left behind by customers which can be pretty annoying. I give them two stars just for the fact that I love target anyways and I usually find what I need. I prefer the Target on Avalon it's a lot neater and cleaner and less hectic. read more
