    Target runnnnn :)

Maybe it's a NYC thing but everything was sold out and locked up. Finding someone to unlock the soaps and such was not intuitive lmao o

One of my fave things to pick up at Target Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

My go to Target since it's closer to my work location. They are also convenient to go to and have other stores and benefits in the mall area. The focus is on this Target store, so I won't mention the other stores and goodies around but you will find out when you visit. Kelan who went to get me a cart and the lovely young lady who assisted me yesterday at the register made this particular visit super cool and less stressful. I had a long day at work and decided to go to Target to pick up a few items! The staff are always helpful to me every time I visit, even when they are busy. From the lovely lady at the beauty section to the young man that helped with checking the prices at aisle E, you are all superstars and make my visits pleasant. Yesterday was lovely, just like all my visits there, so to anyone who has ever taken a minute to assist me in anyway, I say thank you. #Thankfuleveryday #ThankYouThursday Thank you for always matching prices too! Grateful to always save some money.

This was my first time at this Target and it was ok. Downtown stores like this get a lot of traffic so they are hard to keep clean because the shoppers are monsters and just throw merchandise all over the place with no regard to anyone else, So the store is a bit of a mess...but I was able to find what I needed even though I couldn't find a price tag nearby. But on the positive side, they have scanners around the store so I was able to find the price. I used the self checkout and that was quick and efficient. If you need stuff from Target, this is a decent place but it is not like shopping at one of the pristine suburban Targets so adjust your expectations accordingly.

This Target automatically looks fantastic next to the unholy horror that is the Target less than a mile away on Flatbush. It is the slim, tanned "after" picture to the deformed, obese "before" shot that is obviously a different person altogether. It is new. It is clean. The shelves are actually stocked with the vast variety that I'm sure suburban folk enjoy at all their Targets. They've got tons of home goods, toiletries at prices that usually put Duane Reade to shame (even when not in bulk), tons of toys, snacks, sporting goods, clothing of all shapes and sizes, even groceries. The customer service isn't amazing by any means, but self check-out means I don't have to talk to people if I don't want. I definitely prefer to shop local for the majority of these things, but the convenience of one-stop shopping, the solid prices, and decent selection (Harry's razors now!) of so many different things means I don't absolutely loathe setting foot in here. Oh no. Are we Target people now?

So far everything has broken. I'm not rough and my furniture usually lasts me years never have I ever had furniture turn into trash within the first month. The couch wasn't put together accurately the first time and I had to tell them that they switched the cushion and the back piece, and the two arm rests were also switched sides and are backwards. I was veryyyyy confused. They fixed it but the bottom metal stand of the couch was hanging by a thread and I knew that it won't last from the first minute. I wish everything was cheap at least I wouldn't have been as mad.. - You can look at my Yelp account, this is my first ever negative review. I don't usually like to speak on my negative experiences. But if I had seen this review I wouldn't have bought from here.

So without much thought at all I declared that we needed to go inside and started across the street. What could Dad say? He gave me a look that clearly said "you're weird" and followed me in. Once inside we were greeted by dozens of items that I swear are in my Grandfathers basement right now. Dad must have been reading my mind b/c he actually said "I think you're grandfather has a couple of those in the basement" while pointing to a set of vinyl suitcases. The entire store is filled, floor to ceiling, with vintage pieces of all sizes and shapes. Big ticket items like tables, chairs and trunks to smaller accessories of baskets & picture frames. The layout and arrangement made it hard to navigate the store and what was more confusing was the location (I think) of the cash register & counter area... It's hidden behind a huge pile of stuff so you can't even see the front door if you're sitting behind the counter. Oh and we were in the shop for a good ten minutes and I don't think I saw the owner/manager once. I though that was weird.. and I can't forget to mention- I found the store to have a bit of a musty smell... which makes sense if you think about the items inside. While I don't think I'd purchase anything it was a cool shop to walk through and brought back memories of Gramps. If you're looking for some nostalgia- stop by Trailer Park

NO. NO. NO. NO. NO…read more And NO. 1 star. And I'm being generous. City Foundry appears to be a store in the sense that it contains objects and has a door. Beyond that, any resemblance ends. The staff treats your arrival as a personal inconvenience -- an interruption to whatever it is they do in there when no one is looking. Which, based on the reception, is apparently their preferred state of affairs. City Foundry makes shopping feel like trespassing. The only person in the store the morning I visited achieved something rare: She was simultaneously indifferent, arrogant and condescending. Arrogant I can respect. Indifference, okay. Condescending I cannot. To be condescending about "antiques" you have acquired for next to nothing and are now selling for a shocking amount of something requires the kind of confidence I can only describe as delusional. These are not curators. These are not even salespeople. They are people who have confused a truly mad markup with a point of view. The objects are good. The objects are not the problem. The objects are simply trapped there, waiting for someone to rescue them from the tyrannical martinets holding them hostage. My advice: keep walking. The block has options. The entire city has options. Leave City Foundry to its own company. They clearly prefer it. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO.

But specific customers with specific money? I don't know. I didn't get it. And I didn't buy it.
