A Palm Beach County sheriff's deputy was sitting directly in front of the Target, maybe as a natural theft deterrent, either way I was happy he was there. No starbucks inside but a nice snack bar in it's place across from the merch return area. The inventory racks were nicely arranged, and needed a specific item so headed to the creativity aisle. Very surprised by the staff at Target today. Stacey in the cosmetic section was helping me for about 20 minutes find the best foundation for my skin color. I ended up buying two bottles of foundation and concealer per Stacey's guidance. This Target needs a few more staffers like Stacey. I give target a 4 star rating because it has lost its customer service levels. Now with self check out and hardly anyone on the floor knowing what the store carries or where to find it is pretty upsetting. Don't know about them all but I personally wouldn't really be going back. During the self check out I rang an item up wrong and had to wait a few minutes to get it fixed. So if self check out is to help speed things up it doesn't seem too. While I was waiting for help two others next to me had an issue and stood around waiting for help. I placed an online pick up order to avoid being in the store forever. 2 workers in the customer service/ pick up area saw me and did not acknowledge that I was there. It wasn't until I asked the man to get a worker up in the front. He scans my barcode and tells me he'll be back with my order. Comes back without my order, tells me his device died again, and slammed the device on the table. Evident that he was angry. I've been here over 15 min waiting on my order. You know how Target is, you come in for one thing and leave having spent $50 on things you didn't even mean to get. In our case a T shirt, M&M's in cookies and scream and pumpkin pie flavors, a Hocus Pocus DVD, and my favorite No7 beauty cream somehow made it home with us. I can't even remember what we came in for. I love their Archer Farm brand products. They also seem to get seasonal flavors of popular snacks that no one else has. This store has self check out to make it easy to pay and get on your way which was great for us because we were on our way to the Smokey Bones in the same plaza. If you have their store card you can save 5% with every purchase. Hopefully they tightened up security after that data breach. If you want to make more than you spend they are currently hiring for the holiday season for $12 an hour. Not too shabby. Think of how much more you could buy with an employee discount! read more

They have everything in this store but not necessarily my style .I go here more for household items, games and skin products . DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I was going in for a simple grocery run and it was absolutely packed and there weren't any employees around to help the line at self checkout go down. I finally got to the register and the I see one of the 'managers' with purple hair being disgustingly rude and entitled to one of the employees. Literally to the point where the employee almost started crying! I felt so bad so I found the employee a few minutes later and asked them if they were okay. They said that the manger's name was Heather and she is always disrespectful and passive aggressive to the employees there even after being reported. I am honestly appalled that a place would hire someone like her and keep her employed. Target should know that the people you hire is a direct representation of how you want to run business. And obviously this store has been run by trash. -15/10 please do not support a store that treats their employees horribly!! read more

If I could give this target, zero stars, I would. I have never encountered such laziness in my entire life. If it wasn't so close to home, I would never come back. I always wait for over 30 minutes for a drive up order and when I decide to go inside after waiting 30 minutes, there is rarely a line. I understand if the store is actually busy but it wasn't. Today there were 3 employees standing at customer service and no one appeared to be doing any work. The shelves are a mess and it's impossible to find anything that you're looking for. I have no idea who the manager is here, but they are clearly not running a tight ship. Unless you're desperate, stay away. This store gives target such a bad name. I don't shop at Target much anymore. But I had a return from a purchase so i went into this one because it was convenient. The customer service promptly did my return. I continued to go in and just take a look see around the store back in the day. This was my number one target. I would always drop in when I would take my dog to get groomed nearby the merchandise was always the best in the area, and they had some terrific employees. These days the merchandise at this one is very mediocre, though I think all of targets merchandise has really gone downhill, and the employees were visible as opposed to now where I think most people could take half the store with them, and no one would notice, I purchased three items and these are some of my pet peeves:, aside from the lack of customer service, Is that target employees don't clean the belts regularly where our products are placed; I ALWAYS have to ask for my bag creditsthey don't fold the clothes! Target is my first stop when I'm looking for almost any item that is sold in department stores. Their prices are great. They price match if their prices aren't the best in town. Target has wonderful prices on the dog food that I feed my dog, Onyx---Purina One. If you get a Redcard, Target's credit card, You automatically get an additional 5% off all your purchases. On a mission to find a specific item, I found myself running from one Target to another. This particular store was very busy. The parking lot was packed and it took a few minutes to find a space. I have been to many Targets and this one was not the easiest to maneuver both inside and out. It's not one of the larger stores and was still quite busy. Also, it has only a single entrance. I love Target, end of story. I won't shop at Walmart unless target is closed and it is something I absolutely need. I love all of the target brand names, where as I don't care for Walmart or Publix brand. Target is always clean and organized. You can walk in at any time that they are open and it is spotless. I love that this location is not even a "Super Target" and they have a full on food section. I feel very say eating food and produce from the fresh section in target. On many occasions have I bought food from target and been super happy with the outcome. Target is a very large store, and is sectioned off in rear ways. It makes it easy for a customer to shop without asking for help, or at least you can get yourself to the right section of the department store. Then if you still cannot find what you need, you can ask any target team member and they will go above and beyond to help. They usually know the location of any product, and if they do not they will walkie talkie another employee. They also treat team members really well, a very good friend of mine worked for the company and he has told me all the great perks to working for the company. This location doesn't have the biggest parking lot, but I always find a pretty decent spot. read more

Now, we only get Archer coffee... the rest is the same cheap stuff but no longer truly inexpensive. At this point we get most of our processed or bulk items at Walmart and fresh food at Fresh Market or Whole Foods. Target couldn't even fill a prescription right...twice! Who doesn't love Target? This place is my second home. I recently opened a Target Debit card, which is linked to your own checking account and you get 5% off every purchase you make using this card. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but it definitely adds up. The customer service at this particular store is awesome. Every employee seems to know where everything is and always has an answer to your question. They take returns and exchanges with no problem, even if you had already opened the item. For example, one time I bought a new car freshener and I hated the smell so I returned it and they simply asked what was wrong and completed the return. Target also does price match! Target has certain websites and stores they price match with for their items. For instance, I found a tech 21 iPhone case on Amazon for $14, which Target had in store for $35 (You have to make sure it is the same exact product or else the price match will not work). I simply pulled up the phone case on amazon and showed customer service. After confirming it was the same product, they changed the price and I got the phone case for $14! Hollaaa. This target has many departments: Clothing (baby, kids, women and men), shoes, toys/games, electronics/DVDs/CDs, Baby, Auto, Home (bath, bedding, decor), Groceries, and Outdoor. They also have a dollar section that is placed as soon as you walk in, which I always get sucked into. But I love this section, you can find really cute decorations, candy, and other random things for yourself or as little gifts to give. I can go on and on about this place. I 've been coming to this Target only bc it's close to my house. That's the ONLY reason. 14 years. I ORIGINALLY only wanted to give a review to credit a WONDERFUL EMPLOYEE named Maria R, bc she was so helpful and even as she was talking to me.. other employees interrupted to ask her basic questions which as a Retail Store owner was strange but it's Target lol Maria was kind and helpful and I told her you DESERVE a review and then I started to leave. This is where the review changed NOT bc of Maria. They were closing and at self checkout a mom with 2 small kids (both under 6 FOR SURE - I have 2 kids they were so sweet just tired) this woman was CRYING bc she couldn't afford everything.. so she's selecting which to put back and which to keep WHILE her 2 kids were crying. The employees and manager hovered OVER her to RUSH her not to HELP her. Wait, the manager, female ONLY stood at the door for this entire 10 minutes "holding it open" leaning watching this woman struggle and the female employee was just saying what CAN I GET RID OF?!?!? To get her out ... They didn't help or even pretend to care to help her. So, I DID. The manager watched me ask this amazing mom who was struggling (IN TEARS apologizing profusely out of embarrassment and being rushed to GET OUT. I asked this woman if I could help her with her kids bc she NEEDED HELP she was so frazzled my heart BROKE for her and she said PLEASE, yes! So, I just talked to her kids so she could think about which toys she couldn't afford. It was what any human with any type of empathy would do. I have over 20 years in retail and own my own store. I hope THIS FEMALE MANAGER sees this so she can do BETTER. Ma'am you watched a young mom and MOST importantly, your customer have a breakdown from the pressure you and your other female employee (NOT MARIA) were pushing on her without even THINKING TO OFFER ANYYYY HELP!! You ma'am stood at the door leaning and WATCHED ME offer to help this woman. I bought them a juice so she could PAY YOUR STORE quickly so YOU could lock up 5 minutes past closing time. I said out loud to you and this woman so you did hear me and I said to this SOBBING woman, "hey allow me to help you because you need the help and no one here apparently wants to do anything other than lock up." The manager and employees DID NOTHING, watched me do what the manager should instinctively do and APPARENTLY you don't train on anything other than go backs which lets be real you ONLY keep self checkout open I have no idea what anyone who works there actually does bc they don't check people out, assist customers in DISTRESS but the team is only as good as the captain! Well, you did THANK us... for LEAVING as I pushed her cart out and held one of her kids and she left sobbing bc of the pressure you all made sure to make her KNOW IT WAS CLOSING TIME. There was no misunderstanding, YOU DIDN'T CARE! THAT was the only thing that was more obvious than a young woman in full panic attack feeling TERRIBLE thanks to you and your "staff" I told her, its not her fault that you don't understand CUSTOMERS ARE THE REASON YOU HAVE A JOB! I was shocked and after 14 years will NEVER give a dime to any Targets, I will gladly drive anywhere else. Target Corporate ... YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS DESERVE BETTER! I have mixed feelings about Target. They have good sales and even their regular prices are competitive. They price match, which is helpful. I've used their pharmacy and I find that there are some medications that they don't carry, which can be inconvenient. They also don't accept all insurance plans so I can fill prescriptions there, but Clyde can't, even though we both have Humana. The prices on groceries are pretty good although this Target doesn't have the food selections that Super Target has. I do buy a lot of items at Target. Their prices are good for pet food and household items. They also don't give you a problem handing out rain checks if they're out of a sale item. Now for the reason I'm giving three stars instead of four or five. Almost every time I go to the cashier something rings up wrong, especially marked down items. You have to check your receipt very carefully. After finding a mistake you have to go to customer service to get a correction. It takes extra time to wait in line a second time to have the prices corrected. I wonder why the mistakes are always in favor of the store and not the customer. read more

Even though this isn't a "super target," it has everything I need from food to pharmacy. The store is always clean and never too overcrowded. I have a target debit card with them and I really enjoy saving money with something other than a credit card. I also have to give a shout out to this store's customer service. I've stood in line to return things many times, and I've seen the bitchiness they have to put up with in our lovely city of Boca. I'm extremely disappointed with this local target. I don't shop here year-round only when I'm in town at my winter home. After a very long day I decided to stop into this target location to get some milk, soda and cereal. The lines were very long so I decided to go to the self checkout . The machine requested an attendant several times then the incorrect pricing came up. The attendant called the store manager to check pricing. I was instructed that the cases of Diet Coke I was purchasing was not on sale. Meanwhile there was a huge sign stating that the Diet Coke 4 cases for 12 dollars. The manager stated that the diet Pepsi was on sale. I prefer the diet Pepsi but that's not what the signage stated. So the store manager did not want to honor the pricing that they had all around the store. So I requested that someone go get me four cases of the diet Pepsi that was on sale because physically I couldn't walk around the store. So while I was waiting there for 15 minutes the store manager walkie-talkie eat the attendant for the self checkout machines that they needed a cart to bring the sodas to the front. Why couldn't they asked for cart 15 minutes prior? I got so I irate that I walked out of the store ! I find this target to be unprofessional ! Meanwhile the whole time the security guard was giving me dirty looks! I was even thinking about canceling my red card with target after this situation !!!! My original review for this Target location was shared via Google. I attempted to purchase almost two hundred dollars of merchandise on Thursday August 5th 2021. I was approached by a woman who identified herself as the head of security immediately before I could walk to the register area to pay. After a brief conversation: I called Target headquarters while I was on line- but did not want to speak to a representative in the Phillipines so I hung up. Then I approached a heavily tattooed young man in a Target shirt and name tag. Right away seemingly from out of nowhere- a young woman appeared who identified herself as the store director. I told her that the approximately two hundred dollars of stuff would have to sit in the shopping cart while we all had a good long think about it. Then I went outside and had a twenty something minute long conversation with a representative at their Corporate headquarters in Wisconsin. That phone representative was trying to placate me saying that I could go sit inside if the heat was getting to me...after I explained that I am disabled from almost getting killed in a bus crash around four years ago. However: once I got off the phone- the two female employees at the store had called the sheriffs office. Two deputies appeared in front of me. At first I thought Deputy Grant and Deputy Pinzon were security guards for the mall. They proceeded to detain me and reviewed my ID before Deputy Pinzon told me they were there to bear witness to my being trespassed by the Assets Protection Loss Prevention staff member and the Store Director. Once I spent the next couple of days jumping through hoops to get a police report: it was packed full of lies. For almost a month I have made all sorts of phone calls and sent many emails to both Target and the Palm Beach Sheriffs Office. Even if it takes a year to resilve this situation- then I will fight for my name and reputation for a year. If bog box store employees lie to law enforcement officers such as deputies- then I will do what it takes to clear my name. The gist of my message? Don't be a target at Target. It's not a Super Target. It's not even a newer Target, but it is my Target. Big fan of this here store for several reasons. They are a wonderful combination of Publix, Home Goods, Best Buy and Wal-Mart all rolled up into one. It doesn't have the depressing, cheap, everything made in China feeling like your average Wal-Mart does. Plus the clientele is night and day. What store can you walk into and buy blu-rays, baby diapers, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, a Beastie Boys t-shirt and some beer? I'll tell you--TARGET baby! Prices are usually on par and on many food items they're actually less than Publix. Be careful though, without fail you will get ripped off if you don't watch the prices during check-out. Target is notorious for ringing up the wrong prices and rarely does it work in your favor. Target is great and it's practically my 2nd home, but it's one of those places you go in for just a few items and end up leaving with about $50 less in your wallet. read more

Nice store overall. Check dates when purchasing any food items. It has happened to me a couple of times when I am bringing home expired items. Today was no exception. I bought sliced simple balanced sliced ham. Brought it home started making a salad, tasted the ham and immediately thought I bought a honey ham. Looked at the date, expired 15 days ago. Few months back expired pasta sauce out of date 6 months. I do not have issues with other targets. I realize this is not a super target, however if you are selling food items you have to have systems in place. read more

Maybe it's because I was spoiled by the super target where I used to live in Deerfield but for some reason this target leaves a lot to be desired. Don't get me wrong, I never have a problem with the associates or anything here, aside from the occasional long lines (which naturally target is quick to fix by calling a few associates to open registers at the drop of a dime, unlike their other large competitor which will leave customers standing in a line 10 deep with 1 register). But as far as inventory, I'm a bit disappointed. Always holes in shelves where stuff wasn't restocked/reordered. Always merchandise in wrong locations/departments. A huge lack of variety compared to super target (which I can understand due to space restrictions). I find that the only time I really come here is to pass time when I have nothing to do and impulse shop. read more
