I'm sitting in the Target parking lot crying because of the kindness of strangers. The people behind me in line initially were getting impatient with me removing an item at a time, reswiping the FSA card for FSA items, then my check card to make sure it was under the balance. The things I took out: romaine, mango, plantain, avocado, milk, gluten free mac n cheese. When I finally was able to make it go through, the manager comes over, says in a super judgey and VERY loud voice "that's nice -insert eyeroll- it all has to go in the trash now" All I could say was "Oh no. That breaks my heart" and then tears started. I took my receipt and walked away. Then I hear a kid behind me and a man say "hey, can you come back?" I walked back over there. They sent the female manager to go get the items and bring them back, she says "It will be a while, it is buried behind other carts" That is horseapples. It had been less than 2 minutes since she walked away. It would only be buried if she did it intentionally. The kind strangers bought the rest of my groceries for me. My total was $60 something but all I had was $40 and change. The manager's behavior is reprehensible. There are ways of handling such situations without publicly shaming someone and even worse, making a point of saying IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER that the items were going in the trash because the customer couldn't afford them?!!! Come on, are you serious? Your manager needs some coaching on how to handle such situations appropriately. Not a Target issue, but some background on my situation. For 8 of the last 9 months, I have been getting 60% of my wages OR LESS because of an injury at home and then a month after going back to work, an injury at work. The disability checks are not as timely as a paycheck and they are held in pending by my credit union for multiple days, I can see the deposit yet they take withdrawals out immediately. To top that off, I'm immunocompromised with bad lungs. I have been INSIDE a Target maybe 4-5 times in the past 22 months. This experience tells me I will NEVER be in your store again. As I was typing this, the kind strangers pulled up in the parking lot to make sure I'm okay and that I got what I need. Thank you, kind strangers, for stepping up when the Target manager was a total gormless maggot. Thank you, kind strangers, for restoring some hope, some faith, some promise for a better future. We all do better when we all do better.

You just gave us counterfeit $20 bills

We were just at your store and we went to McDonald's right after and tried to use the change you gave us! Well, they would not allow us to use the money because it's counterfeit!!!!! It doesn't even feel right, it is like parchment paper! I keep calling but I can't get a hold of anybody. I cannot believe that you gave us fake money! The guy at McDonald's knew better than your people at target for goodness sake's! The girl must have been in on it. We're calling the cops now!

Target has the best employees, Thomas , and J.back in Electronics ,J took about three and a half hours working on my phone and being on the phone with the insurance people to cover my phone damage and they could not understand what she was doing and how it works and these people just were just giving her to run around and she's spent all that precious time and then the next day I had to come back she finished working on my phone and that was another 2 hours we finally got everything done I go out to my vehicle and it wouldn't start I waited a few minutes tried it again and sure enough the battery was dead I asked a few people to help but they were too busy I didn't know what to do so I went into the store back to the electronics and asked Thomas if they could possibly help me oh my God he jumped to the chance to help a disabled woman get her vehicle started so she could get home before dark now Thomas and Jay went over and above to help a customer they have no idea who I am but that'll be internally grateful for them helping me taking the time and being patient caring and loving and fun so that Target you got great employees there keep them and thank you so much Lori behun

    More empty shelves

I would give less than a star if I could. Unfortunately we live close and have typically used this target as our grocery store. They went through a remodel that did nothing for the service of this store. It unbelievable how bad this store is for groceries. For the past 6-8 months we have gone there several times a week and EVERY time they are completely out of several things we need therefore having to drive 1-2 miles up the toad to cub (which sucks too) and or Walmart. You can walk up and down every isle and see empty shelves of basic items. I mean EVERY isle. Not just a couple things. It's almost like they are trying to get out of the grocery business. They probably should if they can't figure out normal stocking of items. I hear people complaining constantly. Now we have decided not to wast time going there and just go to Walmart grocery instead. Saves time and we can count on them to have what we need. Target executives or Managment; feel free to contact me if you need further explanation. I have tons of picture to show you of your empty shelves. Very frustrating when we expect to get basic grocery items and can't reply of a company like target.

After 6 mo the tables showed signs of warping in the wood. We also had weird spots start showing up on the top of the sideboard (it was always covered with a piece of custom glass). Mike the store manager was so understanding and helpful and let me exchange it for a different piece (we did have the extended warranty). Then, we went back and bought another table for our kitchen. We purchased the Oliver. Once it was delivered, it just didn't look right in our kitchen. And when we fully extended it with the leaf, there was large gap in the middle and it was very noticeable. We went into this store within two days and stated we would like to exchange it for something else. Sam was obliged to do so, although we were told we had to pay a 20% stocking fee. We did end up exchanging for a different table at scandinavian design, but we did end up having to pay a $300 restocking fee. Seems excessive especially if you're exchanging becuase of a product your not satisfied with. So my advice is to make sure you ask them to open it if there's a leaf and really, really pay attention to the quality before you bring it home. We will still continue to buy from there.Although I will pay more attention to those aspects.

I found some beautiful leather-like low profile dining chairs at Scandinavian Designs. The price was surprisingly reasonable for the quality - we have received quite a few comments from guests about how comfortable they are! One star off because there was no one around to assist me in lifting chairs down from a rack so I could test them out. Being pregnant at the time, it was something I would have appreciated help with!
