The nastiest ladies restroom I've ever seen! I attempted to talk to the manager, Lisa L., who never came out of her office. I couldn't even bring myself to take pics of it....disgusting. I'll email corporate and hope they fix it. read more

THIS TOWN IS AWFUL FOR TRAVELERS!! The only restroom we could find was in Target....and thank goodness they open at 8am!! Just for that alone they get 5 stars! read more

Ah, Target! I absolutely love Target, so much so, that when I was deciding where to move in the Northeast, I vetoed Vermont as there is no Target there:(. Anyway, they renovated this Target not to long ago and added food although it does not have everything a SuperTarget has, it is a super Target! They carry awesome stuff of all kinds and I ALWAYS find something and more! Even though I make a list and try as I might to stick to it--here, I end up with much more! The store is clean and well organized! The racks in the clothes section are a bit to close to each other but that is the only negative about this store. Employees are great and checkout is usually a breeze! read more

I have watched this business slide downhill for some time now. I think it's finally scraping bottom with no improvement in sight. What a waste! Poorly stocked shelves, mispriced labels, no help to be found anywhere, rude and careless stock clerks, aisles cluttered with pallets and boxes and very SLOW service at the service desk... and worst of all NO ONE at any level of management gives a damn about it. I tried to order an item online and saw that this location (Bethel) had ONE item in stock. Before making the 25 minute trip to the store, I decided to call and see if the item was, indeed, in stock. The drive round trip would have saved me alot of time and frustration. What a terrible response! Seems like a simple question, ie: "Is this item in stock?" My call was answered by a friendly service desk clerk who said she would check for the item, but instead put me on hold for 20 minutes at which point my call was AGAIN answered by a different clerk at the service desk. Once again placed on hold, but this time for 25 minutes with no response. All I heard was a series if beeps as the phone supposedly rang unanswered in the housewares dept. When someone picked up the receiver and said nothing (just put me back on hold) I decided that this call was probably useless. Now approaching an hour on hold, I decided it was time to make a new call. This time the call was answered by Felicia. I explained what had happened and asked her to not put me on hold. She complied and left the open receiver on the desk. Apparently, Felicia had an employee check the availability of the item or checked it herself because after about ten minutes Felicia picked up the phone to tell me that the item was not in stock. I thanked her and requested to speak to the store manager. Again, Felicia placed the open handset on the desk and I could hear what was going on. In about five minutes I heard Felicia explaining my situation to a male voice who said to her, "Well wadda ya expect me to do about it?" After a few more dismissive comments, the male voice (later identifeid as Ethan) said, "Let him wait a while." Obviously, Ethan didn't know that he was on an open mic. Ethan said he was the "front of the store" manager. I told Ethan that I heard him dismissing my call when he thought he couldn't be heard. He stammered and had no answer. When I asked to speak to the store manager, I was told he was off today (Saturday) and that I could speak to the HR executive. This was the grand prize of the entire experience. LEXIE!! Yes LEXIE, the HR executive, was the crowning glory of patronizing, disinterested, condescending indifference. Like week old fish, this store stinks from the head down. Now I finally understood why the lower down, minor managers were so awful at their jobs. LEXIE had led the way. LEXIE had held the torch of haughty disdain as a beacon for her underlings to emulate. The store suffers at every level as a direct result of this contemptuous disdain for the lowly customers, and managers like LEXIE have paved the perfect approach. I have given TARGET its last chance to disappoint me and it has done so perfectly. Never again. read more

Always great to shop at our local target store team members are always friendly and you can find what you need only problem is line get long sometimes and the music and movies department is sometimes lacking otherwise great place to shop for everything you need. read more

I love Target. LOVE Target. And while this Target is small, as Targets go, its still great to have it around. From Soup to Nuts you can pretty much find it here. Prices are good and their clearance sales are great. Now if we can just get a Target Supercenter close by! read more

I received a black Friday coupon at the store after spending 300 dollars. It's for a measly 20 percent off beginning on 12/3 to 12/14. BUT there are so many exclusions to use it , especially toys and electronics, which is what people want. So I was trying to buy a LOL glamper set, for 89 dollars and use the coupon. It didn't go thru, and I didn't see the LOL exclusion on the very crowded listing on the coupon.. Called target and some guy with a heavy accent told me the coupon can only be used in the store, which is not true. So I called again, another associate told me that LOL is on the list, and that the coupon is no good to use. So here's the deal, I'm not getting the LOL from Target, I feel the exclusions are ridiculous, especially when I can buy the same thing at a lower price somewhere else WITHOUT a useless coupon. I am letting the BBB know what a scam this coupon thing is.. The whole list on the exclusions is mainly what people buy for gifts at Christmastime Looks to me like the only good use of this coupon is buying clothing. USELESS!!!!! I will shop somewhere else from now on. read more

Love Target, especially love the fact that this location carries Shea Moisture products. I was in town visiting family and needed to wash my hair so I came here and thankfully they had the travel-size versions of shampoo and conditioner. Also love the Redcard which gives saving all the time! read more

Low stock... Staff was nice though. Asked to order something online since they didn't have it in-store, but somehow, Target still doesn't have computers or the ability to help a customer order something online at customer service. It was frustrating because it's a birthday gift and I do not have wifi at home and can't order it online. read more

Used to love getting my photos at target but now they make you stand in line with returns and exchanges to pick up your photos not sure why I have to stand in a 30 minute line to pick up photos when I can go to Walgreens and get them into minutes guess I'll switch over to a different Company for my photo prints read more

I'm not a big target fan but I buy certain things there. Today I tried to return 11 pairs of uundies that just fall apart even though I hand wash and air dry. Now I have NO reason to ever go there again. Target used to honor and stand behind the customer if a product failed. Well not anymore! The "manager" wasn't nice from the minute she was called to the service desk...what ever happened to us being called guests...anyway manager said find matching stuff and she.d give me refund. An hour later I'm on line again and now she says she can only do that if I bought items 3 months out. I wasted an hour and she decided not to honor her word. Kohls stands behind the customer. I'm only going to kohls. Even Walmart treats people nice! read more

I consider myself a target connoisseur. I have studied and experienced a broad swath of target retail locations. Today was the first time I haven't enjoyed myself in a target. I started my sojourn in the bathroom, it was clean, no complaints. However the store felt small and cramped and the ceiling was unnervingly low. I prefer the look of other targets! read more

I have been to the Target in Bethel, CT twice in the last few months. I was not shopping leisurely, I needed very specific items. Both times I went all I found were empty shelves. Literally empty shelves, no product. It's out of the way for me to go here and to have to walk out empty handed is very annoying. I used to love going here over the Walmart which is right down the road. Now I will think twice or order online only. read more

We love Target always nice, clean, friendly atmosphere. They added a food section recently and it has some really good prices on produce and meat. The quality of the food is usually exceptionally good and the frozen items are also fairly priced. Overall great experience and much better than Walmart read more

I love this store! The prices are good, food quality is great, customer service is awesome :) Parking is plentiful, unlike local competitors. They also seem to stock a lot of the stuff I need the most and if I can't find something they can order it for me. The store is always clean and check-out is a breeze. Thank you Target for a great experience. read more

This store is not only dirty but their customer service and management are non-existent. They wouldn't sell me an item that was on the shelf because it wasn't at Street date. I can understand that but they didn't offer any solution to either reserving the item or even direct me to the website where it was available for pre-order. Instead they just told me they would do nothing for me-oh well. Why is it on the shelves if you aren't selling it??? This is the second time this has happened to me at this store. Maybe I wouldn't be so upset if I didn't have to drive 40 mins just to get there. This policy is a joke and having a management team who is more than happy to let a customer walk and leave $400 worth of stuff in the cart is absurd. read more

This store has turned into a dump! I haven't been in this store for a year or more and I was SHOCKED when I was there this past week. It was a mess, the shelves were empty in many sections and the bathroom looked unkempt, dirty and in need of paint. And to top it all off, one of my purchases was a watermelon and I got it home, opened it and it was rotten. SO disappointed. What the heck happened? I've just moved closer to this store in the past year and was looking forward to frequenting it. Not anymore. read more

This is a great Target (for not being a SuperTarget), especially now that they got a better grocery section. The store is clean and usually pretty peaceful (compared to Walmart down the street). There prices for groceries are reasonable and have a great selection of products for the smaller size of the store. read more

At the register this evening, a $14.99 clearance stickered WII U Jeopardy game rang up as $24.99, so I brought it to the cashier's notice to correct. She called over another female employee, who looked at the item and sticker numbers, said it was the wrong item, peeled off and destroyed the clearance price tag from the item, and told me the game would be $24.99. I barely wanted it at $14.99, so $24.99 was a no thank you, but I think if an item is marked at a price that it should sell at that price. The cashier was thoughtfully apologetic, but otherwise I'm not happy about this outcome at this Target. read more

Love Target in general! This store is the closest to where I live and work so I frequent it often. They always have what I need and then always picking up extra. But if Im there too long, I know my child will ask the dreaded question. Can I go to the bathroom. Oh. No. This bathroom is ALWAYS filthy and smelly! I just don't get why? This ruins my shopping trip! And almost every time I walk in the faucet is running! Even my small child is scared once we actually get in there. Another thing, self checkout. First I don't understand why they are not all available? Its self check out! Second, I had problems finding a code on my cauliflower and asked an employee if she could help. Her response? Well, I cant find the barcode and started to walk away! I said can you please comeback? What if I was at YOUR checkout lane? What would you do? Only then did she look harder and found the barcode twisted under the plastic. I said thank you very much as she turned her back and took off. No your welcome. Nothing! Customer service at this store is not the greatest and could def use improvement! The pharmacy on the other hand has great customer service skills. Always friendly, they take time if I have questions, just amazing! Thank u read more

Always a great experience. I just got a cookware set for an amazing deal that's better than what walmart is offering.

I left the Target Store at Bethel, CT - fuming! What a bad customer experience it was!!! Here's my story: I went to the store to pick-up ONE of the THREE items I ordered online last night. One young lady at the Guest Service told me that the item is ready and she'll "process the payment". I asked for a clarification of her statement because as far as I know, I got a receipt from the order I placed online and the item that I was picking up was included. I just don't want to be charged twice. She proceeded to tell me: "You must have ordered something else!" That statement in itself is a major NO-NO! So finally after a few prompts she finally got it that she needed to ask somebody who has a few cents above her pay-grade to clarify things! Came out Customer Service Associate number 2, named Darrielle, who claimed that she's the supervisor, and in her utmost condescending attitude, told me that they still have to process the payment at the store because that's how Target do it basically... I asked for a reassurance that I won't be billed twice, she did. I was okay with the explanation and was just going to ignore the attitude, until I caught her trying to hold a laugh (but failed miserably) in front of her two other co-workers. So, I asked Darrielle, if the situation was laughable to her - and instead of apologizing for her inappropriate behavior - she rolled her eyes! Seriously, Target - you failed hugely in training these marginally educated people! Do something about it. I was a good customer of Target for many years in two other states. I was actually ecstatic that there's one near my house here in CT! But this really made me upset enough to pause and write this negative review. And yes, there are other stores! read more

Target (bethel ct）is the worst store that i have ever been into，the managers in the front always keep an eye on the customers. They constantly put up the gift card ad in the store, like buy 3 merchandise and get a 10 dollar gift card, but when I go to check out, many times I was hold back because the managers said I can only buy two of the merchandise. The store is not being honest with the cinsurers,if you publicly offer discounts, you should allow people to buy those products and receive discounts. Some of the cashiers, after being told to limit the quantity that can be sold to customers, stupidly put up dirty faces. Also, the meat in the food section is not fresh. I bought a packet of raw pork there, and when I get home, the meat that was on top was red color like normal, but the two pieces of meat that lay underneath were all spoiled, with dark color, and even produce terrible smell. Also that day I bought a bottle of red carrot juice home, in the end, I had to throw away the entire bottle since it was old, what was supposed to be somewhat sweet turn out to be sour, I have no idea how long that bottle had been on the store shelf. The health department should periodically check their store. Back to the previous issue, I understand that sometimes some stores limit the quantity of goods that can be purchased at a time, and even a small store can put out sign that tells customers there is limited quantity, but target is nationwide store, none of their stores put the limit quantity sign in the stores. They always told me at the front register place, after I had spent time and energy picking out the stuff I wanted to buy, that I can't buy a certain amount of goods because there is a limited quantity on that merchandise, but why no one tell me or put a notice out there ahead of time. This is not what a nationwide store is supposed to do. Also the woman bathroom always smell terrible, there seems to be ventilation problem. The managers in that store are not doing a good job, I will not be back to that store, ever. read more
