Target is Target. Kind of nondescript with a lack of service of any sort. I like this location because it is close to Phipps Plaza and the Lenox Mall, so if you needs to pick up something fast while at the mall, this is convenient. There is a small selection of produce here, but I don't think the quality is very good. Store is relatively clean, huge, and you get to watch your cart go up the special cart escalator. Fun. read more

Called yesterday about a specific item and gave them the dcpi. Told me it would be availible the 28th , and I asked multiple times to confirm this. Drove half an hour to find out they were not availible and that nobody knew when they would be out. The lady at guest services at 8 am was very short with us, and was adamant no target employee could ever make that mistake to tell us to come because they are perfect. read more

This target is smaller but does have plenty of things most targets have but overall the customer service more times than not is just okay if not poor, i have had several moments where a staff person had a huge entitled attitude but worse of all is not the occasional rude employee, the reason why it gets one star its because this Target's merchandise is really poorly cared for. They recently remodeled and things here are really gross. See photos for just a few examples. Do i really want to buy some many dusty things. No. What else are they not caring for before placing it on the floor to sell to customers. These are just a few examples, truly just a couple. There are many at the store. read more

A Target is a Target is a Target. Unless it's this weird-ass two story Target in Buckhead. And that's its Yelp name, Two-Story Target. OK, it's the same product line. It's the same ubiquitous red color. Once you get over the labyrinthian layout of the parking garage (wait, do I park here to get to Target or HERE?) you find there's never really a space shortage; it just seems that way. (Just be careful of all the proto-Buckhead Betties ready to run you down Deathrace-style in their VW Jettas.) Anyway, the Target. Yeah, that's about it. But it has a really cool escalator for your carts. It's fun to watch people regard it with equal parts awe and confusion. I mean, on one hand, it's, eh, an escalator for you cart. On the other hand, it's and ESCALATOR FOR YOUR CART! (I actually talked to the guy who put it in and he told me that it's the only one of its kind in a Target. Or at least up to then.) On the bright side, at least my Sprint cell phone works in here. Damn you, Emo Target on Moreland! read more

I'll be the first to admit that I can get a little frustrated when I don't get my way. I get even more frustrated when I don't get my way when I know I'm right. Here's a great example of how to get me frustrated while simultaneously giving poor customer service. A few weeks ago I purchased some Archer Farms products that looked like they would taste good and I wanted to try them out. Archer Farms is Target's private label of grocery products and I usually have pretty good success with them (mmmmm....Chardonnay Artichoke Dip... yum...). This time I purchased some seasoned crackers and frozen crab cakes. The crackers weren't very good and I heated up a half-portion of the crab cakes and I didn't like how they tasted. All Archer Farms products have a label that states "Satisfaction Guaranteed", so I wasn't worried about returning them for a refund. Well, joke's on me, I guess. I went to return these items at this Target location where I was told that I could not return them. First, I didn't have my receipt. That really didn't matter anyway because I was told that I couldn't return a product that had been opened. I explained that it would be impossible to try a food product without opening it and that my satisfaction was GUARANTEED by purchasing it. I was not satisfied, therefore I wanted my money back. I won't get into the details of my experience, but let's just say that the poor service made me act slightly out of character. Eventually I was given a gift card to spend the balance, but at the lowest price the products were ever offered. Since these were appetizer-type products they had been on sale during the Holidays, so I didn't receive the full price back and I can understand that. What I can't understand is why I had to have an argument with a Target manager and 3 customer service associates over why they were going to take back their own product that I was guaranteed to enjoy. I gave the store an extra star because it's overall convenient and I like the special escalator they have for the shopping carts (it's a two-story store). Buyer beware - customer service stops as soon as you pay. read more

Not happy at all with experience at the customer service area, I was skipped over several times after waiting in line. The employee was rude and not helpful at all. I ended up cancelling my online order and I will just get it from Amazon next time! I will not be shopping at this Target again. read more

Love this particular location. I used to work down the street from them so I frequented them almost every week. It was also convenient because they share the same parking garage as the Urban Active LA Fitness on Peachtree Rd. The store is always clean and tidy. Even the clearance section is neatly organized most times during the week. I always come here for a few specific items that not all Target stores carry and have been happy with them since. This location is pretty huge and is two floors. read more

Parking is Awful I suppose. Multi-level- The store is ALWAYS clean-I'll give em that. It has everything you could want and also has a good section with cold cuts of high quality meat, my stupid expensive special DHa-organic 2% milk I love, fresh produce, and cute workout gear. I compare Target as I call Targé, to a big giant cavernous Walgreens or CVS. You walk out of those stores spending $50 on nail polish and lipgloss, you walk out of Targé spending $400 on nail polish and lipgloss. Oh and wine. Lots of wine. They sell beer and wine till 10 or 11 every night, score. Should be 4 stars but I have had more than one issue with employees here so that is -1. And side note-I'm not a crazy shopper out to get hard working people or get offended easily. I had downright unacceptable customer service....Do all employees at registers smack your arm so you'll pay attention and get your change faster? Refuse to say her name when confronted, refuse to get a manager? Storm off during check out because I had 'too much shit' I believe was how the young lady so eloquently put it... I'm pretty sure the offensive bon-qui-qui rude attitude biach was fired soon after the incident, thank God. See ya! The manager was lovely. He took out the trash quite well read more

I'll admit that I'm mostly in love with this Target because of the escalator. What can I say? I'm from the South, and we Southerners are easily pleased. The rest of the experience here goes over well as it's always quiet, clean, and orderly. Everything is in it's place and there's ample staff around if you have a question. While navigation can be a little tough at first due to the two stories, if you come enough times you'll figure it out. Really, though, I'm just in love with the escalator. Yeah, I'm the dork who would request trips here as a kid and now brings guests in just to show off the thing. Like I said, easily pleased, easily amused! One thing that isn't quite Target's fault is the parking. It sucks. It's not for lack of spaces - there are TONS - but trying to figure out the parking out is impossible. Can I park here? There? Is this really the right way to Target? Oh great, I'm parking on the half story with no entrance! Let's not forget to mention the SUVs that park where it clearly says "COMPACT". That means small cars, not a house on wheels. Ahem. read more

I've shopped at this Target a few times before and I do like a few things about it and dislike so many more things about it. First off, I like that there are cashiers on both floors and the interior escalators. I also like that this store is rarely ever crowded so you can shop in peace, this also means that most times the items are stocked and not damaged. The bad, even though employees outnumber customers 10:1, there never seems to be anyone there when you need help. And if you do find an employee, their general lack of enthusiasm of helping you is mind blowing. On my last visit, there were signs for buy one get one bra 50% off EVERYWHERE, so after 45 min. of finding a handful of bras, I make my way to one of the most unfriendliest cashiers ever. Not only did she slam all of my purchases into the bag, but I had to ask her to please not pack motor oil in with the toothpaste. At which, she smirks and says, oh yeah, we wouldn't want oil in our toothpaste right? Unfortunately yelp won't let me type down what I was thinking but it's along the lines of no ____ Sherlock. Then it comes to the bras, she scans them and it comes up full price. I tell her about the signs downstairs and she looks at me like I just grew a second head. Instead of calling a CR or looking at the circular, she just shakes her head and said, no, that's not what the register is saying. Well duh genius, I can see that it rang up for $20, that's why I'm taking the time out of our busy lives to interject. At this point, there is only 1 other register open and there are lines starting to form. So, I tell her to void the bras and after my transaction, I go back downstairs and grab another employee to clarify the signs. I'm thinking there must be some kind of exception or something - I mean, these are big red signs all over the lingere dept. The employee stands in front of the signs for a good 5 min. before saying OMG, these signs were supposed to be taken down a week ago! We could get in trouble for this! and she promptly starts ripping off all the signs. I just shake my head in completely disbelief and walk out. I would stay and argue my point with a manager (if I could ever find one), but why fix something this badly broken? read more

I have been unhappy with Target in general for a while. The new lines of really cool looking boho fashion goes up to an XXL, however this size in these lines do not fit me. The sleeves are very thin and the bust is usually smaller than other XXL brands, except those made in China and India. Not why I decided to write a review for this location today. Today as I was leaving tired, and poorer than when I entered, I was smiling at the young security lady and saying good bye when I walked towards the exit accidentally. I was looking to the side speaking to security, you see. Not only did she neither smile nor speak but she also failed to mention I was headed in the wrong direction. I am used to rude people and didn't think anything about it. Upon getting to the door and it not opening I assumed I'd happened upon a non automatic door and pushed it open. I didn't realize until I was walking through the door that I was leaving through the entrance. The security lady said loudly "It's over here!", I assume meaning the exit. As I had already pushed the door open, was apologizing (automatically) as I turned I saw her holding her arms out with an open mouth in an incredulous expression! So if I was not already embarrassed, I was certainly ready to climb under a rock at this point. I just kept going though, I turned back once and she was still standing on the same position with the same look on her face! So, let this horrible mistake I made, risking my life and the lives of others, serve as a lesson; don't smile or say "have a nice day" to any Target employee or it could have devestating and embarrassing consequences. read more

If I could afford to live in any of the luxurious high rise apartment complexes in the area where this Target is located I would. It's in a beautiful section of Buckhead, within walking distance of the Phipps Plaza, Lenox Mall, and various upscale hotels and restaurants. There is a Staples and a Publix (among other stores) conveniently located in the large plaza where the Target is located. The surrounding neighborhood is so shiny and new looking that you'll be tempted to take photos of the nearby high rises and office buildings so you can upload them to Facebook or Instagram. What a scenic location for an affordably priced store like Target! The toughest yelps to write are the ones where you have very little to complain about. This is one of those occasions. I usually shop here about once a month and only on weekend mornings when it first opens, so things may be different in the middle of the day. But my shopping experiences here have only been less than enjoyable once; and that was one time when the ATM machine wasn't working. Walking into this Target is like stepping into the front doors of a museum. The floor is spotless and you can tell the items have been placed with care. Even the public restroom is clean. The shopping carts and small hand held carts are all available upon entrance. There are signs everywhere and even if you can't find something the employees will assist you without making you feel like you're interrupting whatever they're doing. Since this Target has two stories, there is an escalator made specially for transporting your shopping carts to the next level. Convenience and good service: you can't beat that. Some stores change their layouts so often that it becomes hard to get used to where everything is. But this store rarely, if ever, does that. I've been shopping here long enough to know where everything is and since I prefer to shop when it first opens, it''s never too crowded. Ok, the customers here....it must be said: There is a gym nearby and many of the shoppers stop by Target once they finish working out. Tanned, fit women who appear to have been teleported here from the sun and usually wearing workout tights, no less. But they're classy looking and not sleazy (think Atlanta Falcon, or ex-Falcon cheerleader types in their 20s - 40s). I'm just saying that to say that this Target is stocked with eye candy. But I digress. I'm giving this Target 4 stars. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because since I only shop there early in the morning, I cannot objectively say what it's like in the middle of the day when it's crowded or near closing time. read more

First time in Atlanta. I needed to buy some stuff(less than 5items) very quick. I am not used to shop from target, all I knew was they insisting on pronouncing their names with a French accent, claiming it is cooler. Since no staff member was available for help, it took me 30minutes to find the things I was looking for. There was only 2 working booths, more than 20 customers was waiting with filled carts. They don't have a express line, which is ridiculous. It took me another 30mins at line. Since cashiers at the booth were getting tired, they were changing time to time, but keeping only 2 booth working. After every change, once cashier was calling "who is next on the line?" People was crushing each other. Next lucky customer was the one whom jumps in quicker ruthlessly. It ruined my schedule, peuww read more

I am a regular Target Customer, esspecially the one located on Piedmont, Buckhead South. Today my visit to this store was incredibly terrible. I walk in at 830 a.m. to purchase some sodas for my office. I all the way to the back of the store to grab two packages of diet dr. Pepper then to carry them half way to the register to realize that a can has leaked through the packaging onto my suit jacket and pants. I get to the register, explain what happened and the cashier simply took a paper towel to clean up the scaner and asked me if I still wanted two packages. I said yes, and she put the leaking one away, rang me up for two Diet Dr. Pepper cans and then walked away. Covered in Dr. Pepper in the early morning, before I was even into the office, I went back to the far end of the store to grab another box of the sodas. I do realize that this is a time for inventory check, however, that does not mean that customers should be completely ignored. Once I did this, I decided that I deserved some coffee to help my day not feel so ruined. I stood at the Starbucks counter for 10 min with target personell all around me not noticing. I then went up to one, asked her if it was open and she yelled across the store to get someone to go to starbucks. I ordered my coffee, recieved it, and walked away with a terrible start to my day. This was the WORST service I have ever had in Target. I did all this, and that Diet Dr. Pepper wasn't even for me. read more

The staff here is pretty incompetent. I've called a few times to ask if they carried certain items and they put me on hold for 10-15 minutes each time - someone different picks up every few minutes saying the usual spiel about how they can help and I have to repeat myself multiple times, only to be put on hold again...eventually I just hang up! I ordered something online to pick up in-store and when I got to the counter they kept calling the back saying that the computer showed it was ready to pick up but they couldn't find it. The person behind me had a pick up too that they couldn't find. I had to wait 15 minutes before they located it. I don't know how long the person behind me had to wait! Finally I had an online gift card that the cashier couldn't get to work. I just gave up trying to use it that visit bc there was a line behind me and we were in a rush. So frustrating! read more

I ordered 4"X6" photo prints online, and received an email that they were ready in the store. When I drove there, there was no one at or anywhere near the photo booth. I asked the closest associate at the Target Cafe for help, and he told me to wait back at the booth, and someone would be right there. When the associate arrived, she informed me that the store had no more photo paper, so that they could not print my photos for me. I left the store empty-handed, and had to re-submit an order at a nearby CVS. Don't print your photos here. It's pretty disappointing. read more

Yeah again, not too much to say about Target itself except "Yeah it's a Target. It's cool. Rock on." But again I'm compelled to say one thing about this one in particular: this Target is EERILY QUIET. Like seriously it creeps me out each time I'm here. read more

I'm sorry but I love Target. And since it's this is the Holiday gift giving guide, 2nd stop, we need the two story Target in Buckhead. Why? Because this Target has an actual home section and typically a great holiday section. Plus, who doesn't love more space when you've waited until the last minute to shop - like everyone else in Atlanta. This Target typically has better quantity and quality. Plus I love the escalator. ;) So pick this Target when you're off to look for that special game for your teenager cousin or a nice knife for your Chef roommate. Unlike many of the existing reviews, I simply don't love the two-story (and escalator) aspect of this store simply because I find myself going up and down a couple times every visit. I know, not everybody is as scatterbrained as me, but for those who tend to remember items halfway through the shopping trip, you know what I mean! But, instead of just turning around and walking the city block's worth distance back to the area I need, I have to take the trouble to load my cart onto an escalator, then wait for it to arrive and unload. Ain't nobody got time for that... at least not several times per shopping trip. On top of that, the store is not laid out quite the way I would expect it to be (even after a year of bi-weekly visits, I still wonder in circles sometimes trying to find something), and some items are not in the section you'd expect. AND they don't have the full range of products that most SuperTargets do. That being said, this location is always clean and well-kept, despite the steady stream of people coming and going, and the staff have always been very helpful. And its convenience in the area can't be beat! read more

Favorite Target ever. Today I ran in to get this one specific thing- a small bookshelf. I've been in the process of moving this week, so I've gotten use to picking up heavy things and dragging them to where ever they need to be (I'm quite little). So, here I am, dragging this bookshelf box that's as big as I am through the store and a store associate happens to see me. He comes from out of no where, swoops up this giant box and helps me to the check out line. While I pay, he runs away to grab a cart and returns to put the box inside. I think, to make it easier for me to take it out to my car. Does he leave, after already helping so much? Nope. He then pushes the cart out to my car and somehow wrangles the thing into my tiny passenger seat for me! So let's recap. Typical Target? Yes. A ton of great stuff spanning two huge floors? Yes. Uh-May-Zing customer service? Yes, I do think so. Buckhead Target? You just became my Target of choice. Thank you very much!!! read more

I remember the first time I walked in this target and said 'the shopping carts have their own escalator! Unfortunately i've never bought enough stuff here to play with the thing. If that wasn't cool enough already, this is about the only Target I know of that has more than one entrance complete with registers on the top and bottom floors. I don't know why I think it's so amazing to park on one floor, but check out on another. Seeing as how this Target is built into a parking deck, you don't expect it to be so big, but it has the feel of a super target. It's one of my favorites and I wish I lived closer because i'd go everyday...and find a reason to play around with the cart escalator! read more

This use to be a good store! After today I doubt I will return. The organization of the store is inconvenient. I am not going to Target to stroll or window shop. All household paper products and food on top floor and they offerself checkout. I lug my cart down the escalator and see only one person available to check me out, along with other shoppers. Plenty of self checkout lines. I do not want to check myself out! I dont have time to stroll a football field for paper products. I dont want to see milk with expiration dates two days from today. I will let Mayfields know Target is leaving milk out for someone who did not think a store would leave older milk on the shelf and hope they are not paying attention to expiration date. I purchased milk with expiration 12 days from today. Oh. same price as expiring milk. Another trick. Buy $25 of household paper products and receive $5 gift card. Little did I know the large package marked $21 was ringing up $3 less, no gift card. This is not the first time. Dont buy the wine if you believe it is a better price. I checked pricing and priced 3 bottles of different wine, 30% more than total wine. Once again I am reminded why I shop Amazon. Delivered to my door, no football field and no self checkout. If people worry about Amazon taking away business from the Targets if the world. Targets of the world need to increase customer service, not take it away or want me to drive to.a store, shop and have to self checkout. Then play games with expiring products and discounting so you are $3 from receiving a gift card. I will go back to at home delivery. read more

I came in today after seeing the gift card exchange promo on line. At 11 am I went to the customer service desk. She didn't know about the program so she called a manager. Manager told her that they didn't do that. I googled it and confirmed it was available. A sales associate confirmed it as well but said the electronics person who does that arrives at noon. I left and returned at 12:05. Associate still wasn't there. They called her and she said she was 30 minutes away. I killed 40 minutes in the store. Still not there. Left the store and came back. It is now 1:14 and she shows up. Horrible waste of my time and very disappointed in this location. Only highlight was Jestin Jones he tried and deserves the credit. I stop in this Target when I'm in the area a couple of times a month. While it never has enough checkout lines open and the "customer service" is severely lacking today was worst. After filling up an entire cart with groceries I got to the checkout at 10:00 am on a Saturday only to be told that they're only doing self checkout now. As my cart was full and there wasn't enough space on the self-checkout table I had to place my bagged groceries on the dirty floor. Should have just gone to the Publix next door. I'm fine using the self checkout when I only have a few things but not an entire cart. I wonder what they do if an elderly person comes up or somebody with several children. Just pure laziness on the part of the staff and a horrible decision by management. I will not be returning to this store. read more

TRAPPED IN THE ELEVATOR - because they are "washing it"! This store is 2 stories and the escalotor was out of service. So I took the elevator and got trapped. After a few moments of the door not opening, I pushed the alarm button. Nobody came. So pushed the elevator emergency button. They said they would contact the manager of the store. Nothing happened. I pushed the alarm several more times - nothing. I yelled out the door to see if anyone could here me. After a long time, someone said they "were working on it." More time went by and I finally had to sit on the alarm to get an answer. Finally they opened the door and the service man said he was "washing the car" and I had only been in there for two minutes. I was in there for more than 10 minutes and was late to open my business. I was mad, mad, mad! No customer should be trapped due to MAINTENANCE! AND I got no apology. I went looking for the manager who when I finally found him could not have cared less. If my customer was trapped in the elevator at my business, I would be there until they got out an offered a huge apology. This is my second really bad experience with Target. Clearly they don't care and their managers don't either. I am DONE shopping at Target! read more
