We returned to the store the next morning and met with the store manager, Tim. He was very pleasant and accommodating. He exchanged the chairs for us without a problem. Overall, from our salesperson, Rebecca, to Tim and even the delivery persons (didn't get their names), it was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely shop there again and refer people to them. Worst experience with a furniture store ever! sales Associate entered wrong table on my order…read more Manager double checked the order and approved it even though it was wrong. So of course wrong table gets delivered and isn't usable with the counter height stools ordered because the table is too short. so am told the table that was ordered is discontinued and only one available is floor model which is scratched on the top. Gets worse this store insists the only way they will swap out the wrong table for the scratched floor model is if I return the new stools and take the floor model stools. this is rediculous, wants me to give up new stools for basically used ones all On their mistake not mine. I call corporate they just pass it back to the store manager. BTW store manager gives me the runaround and doesn't make decisions has to pass this off to his boss who offers the same thing take it or leave it. Store manager also gave me a number to call after I already explained I called customer service at corporate and had a case created. Did this just to give me the runaround around . BTW the sales person that sold this set to me was in the store when I went back in about the wrong item being delivered. All she did was give us a phone number to call . Terrible customer service. this is still not resolved reasonably. I mean really we agreed to take a damaged table from the floor on their error but there is no way we should even be asked to return perfectly good stools that were the correct items for floor models. You know That is just not the correct way to treat your customers. do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. I know we will never shop in this store ever again nor any other Ashley Furniture Store.

The barrel itself looks great and I was happy when I first saw it. However, I was unable to get an…read moreunobstructed view of the finished product until I had it in my home as it was already wrapped and ready to load. While I want to give the business the benefit of the doubt on preparing it to load, in hindsight it seems mildly deceiving given some of the issues with it. There are three major issues with it: 1. The cutout for the door is crooked. 2. The metal band on one side of the door is about 1/2" short. 3. The door does not close all the way. After contacting the owner, he informed me that the stress released from cutting the wood causes it to deform. I feel like this should be disclosed upfront because it is a pretty significant amount of warping. I am not inclined to believe that this is the entire issue because similar barrels I have seen from other shops do not share this problem. This was not a cheap purchase and I expected a higher quality of workmanship for the price. I would recommend looking at other businesses in the area that offer custom barrels. At the very least, I would avoid having a door put on your barrel.
